28/12/2025: We visited the Prater Restaurant in Sant'Ilario for a truffle-themed evening, and the experience was simply impeccable. We ate wonderfully: dishes crafted with meticulous attention to detail and perfectly paired with wines that enhanced every course. Special applause to the restaurant manager, who was always kind, helpful, and attentive to guests, without ever being intrusive. Also noteworthy is the impeccable cleanliness of the dining room and bathrooms, meticulously maintained, even providing a welcome kit for guests—a sign of great attention and professionalism. Attentive service, a pleasant atmosphere, and the highest quality. An absolutely positive experience, one we'll repeat.

06/01/2026: My wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time, taking advantage of a rare child-free day. There's ample parking, and upon entering, you immediately notice a private dining room with a truly impressive wine cellar. We were greeted by a kind and smiling waiter who escorted us to our table. The menu is varied, with both fish and meat options; we both chose the fish tasting menus and were pleasantly surprised by the selection. All the dishes met our tastes: fresh ingredients, original pairings, and thoughtful presentation. A side note: impressed by a dessert served at another table, the owner surprised us by bringing us a spectacular and truly delicious dessert of his own accord. The bill is in line with the quality of the dishes; we recommend this restaurant for a different and decidedly enjoyable experience. Congratulations to the entire staff!

03/01/2026: Too much time and elaborate dishes

15/12/2025: Let's start with the fact that the seats are packed, and you're almost sitting on the laps of your neighbors, unaware, wondering whether you or they will sit on top of you or vice versa. We were a table of eight, seven men and one woman, the woman who, out of politeness, should be served first, but no, my appetizer arrived after 15 minutes, everyone had already finished. The second course, all but two of us, was served, and their pizza arrived another 10 minutes later. My second course, fillet steak with green peppercorns, tasted like meat that wasn't particularly fresh. Now, I don't want to say my mouth tastes better than anything, but I didn't like it at all. Sweet moments, good, I ordered a vanilla meringue, good, perhaps too much vanilla flavor, really, but good in the context. I hope others have a better experience!

07/12/2025: You eat very well at very fair prices. Sandro, the owner, is a very kind and nice person, the same goes for the friendly and polite waiters. The pizza is excellent, but also the fish, especially the seafood salad and mixed fried fish.

30/01/2026: I never thought a pizza could be so good when cooked in an electric oven instead of a wood oven. But this place proves it! I was late to make a reservation and they were fully occupied (in winter on a Tuesday night!). But they helped us (a group of 4) to have a seat at the bar. It was also a very good experience to be there right next to the oven, watching the master to create the pizza. Definitely, a place not to miss for pizza lovers!

03/02/2026: A decent place early in the week, but if you have to plan your trip from Friday to Sunday, it's a nightmare. Disorganized, even if you order takeout ahead of time, the wait is over half an hour. Over an hour at the table. Chaos. Tables packed tightly together. And the pizza isn't great. Sky-high prices.

09/02/2026: Everything was very good. I went with Neapolitan friends, and they also confirmed the quality of the pizza, the light crust, and the thick crust, just like a true Neapolitan pizza. The top-quality ingredients are evident, so much so that the slightly higher price than average for pizzerias is justified.

25/11/2025: A truly delightful place surrounded by greenery, near the banks of the Secchia River. The kindness and friendliness of the owners make this place even more welcoming. The food is excellent and the quality/price ratio is excellent. First and second courses, exquisite homemade desserts, but above all, the amazing gnocco and tigelle; the gnocco in particular is fragrant, but not greasy, always top-notch. The house-made Lambrusco and Bertolini vinegar are excellent. A place for everyone: couples, groups, families; on special holidays, there's a "nanny service" to keep your children occupied in an adjacent space with games and dancing. A place that hasn't forgotten families with children either: the little ones play while the parents relax! Highly recommended. November 2025 The Ristoro restaurant is now even more welcoming: the summer terrace has been covered and enclosed by large, stunning windows that do not detract from the natural views, particularly the Secchia River, which it overlooks. On summer evenings, you can enjoy the spectacle of stunning sunsets while dining. The quality of the food, even though I didn't think it was possible, has improved even further. It's a restaurant for all occasions: from large tables with friends, to family and children, and even for couples. A place I highly recommend to everyone.

20/01/2026: A quiet, informal, and quaint atmosphere in the historic center. Accessible by car with street parking, or by parking just outside the historic center and walking a short distance. The menu is typical, traditional, and of good quality and quantity. I had a delicious appetizer of caramelized onions on a Parmigiano Reggiano basket and a delicious plate of tortelli. I saw some lovely dishes pass by, which will tempt me back (I've been there a couple of times already). Good service, kind and friendly staff.
