02/09/2024: From Wolfango, Casina: easy to find, coming from the central square take signs for Regnano, you will find it on the left near the Carabinieri station. It is a historic place, Maico Rinaldi, continues the tradition of the late Wolfango, who had the place in the square in Casina. Strong emotion, when both the green and the legendary yellow tortelli arrive on the table, always accompanied by the legendary (but separate) sofrito. Incredibly creamy and fragrant, the mushroom risotto, in my opinion one of the best on the Reggio hills. As a second course, you can't avoid the fried lamb chops, crispy and well cooked, of ancient tradition, if you can make it, have the trifle. One word, fantastic.

04/08/2024: Pretty good fish dinner. We took a mixed seafood appetizer and tortelli filled with scallops and prawns. I didn't appreciate the fact that on weekends the first courses must be ordered for at least two people, thus not being able to each choose their own dish. Nice location but too chaotic and rushed service.

13/08/2024: We hadn't been to this restaurant since before the change of management. We ordered takeaway pizzas for dinner with friends on a Monday evening. When we arrived at the scheduled pick-up time, our order was ready and we didn't have to wait. When we arrived home, the pizzas were dry, burnt in some places and poorly seasoned. In one there was even a hair. It's a shame because the ingredients also looked good and the dough was light.

06/08/2024: Nice environment, well organized even if the tables were too close to each other, in fact I couldn't sit in front of a person because too many waiters passed by and made it difficult to eat The calzone I tried was quite seasoned even though I have tasted better ones All in all good and prices within the norm

05/08/2024: The food was good, the only flaws in my opinion that contributed to the 3 stars (and which were really easily avoidable) were that they served us a crunchy (reheated) dumpling from the day before at the table, and the second basket filled with bread he had the gnocco of the day (please keep the gnocco from the day before) and the four bottles of glass water that we took arrived already open. In catering you shouldn't recycle these things, not opening them in front of the customer gives the impression that they shouldn't give... However, constructive feedback can also improve and we hope that restaurateurs will be more careful about these important details! A €250 receipt and not even a free coffee were the farewell. If you want people to come back, even the grace of a coffee makes a lot in my opinion, because the environment and good preparation also make the difference!

04/08/2024: We visited Al Cavaliere for lunch after the first visit in 2021. And again we had the most delicious food in a fantastic ambience. Gnochi fritti with the local lambrusco… we had all primi piatti and all are amazing. Try risotto if you can. Best return to try all. A must visit in Emilia Romagna. Thank you for the awesome and very memorable experience.

05/08/2024: Non ho mangiato bene! Antipasto salumi e torte salate insignificanti e scarsi. La tagliata servita "non tagliata", ma come pezzo unico, non aveva gusto e non era tenera, inoltre ho chiesto cottura media ed è arrivata completamente cruda all'interno. A mio avviso non c'è rapporto qualità /prezzo, troppo caro per ciò che offre. Volevo una cena rilassante e invece mi sono soltanto innervosita. Non ci tornerò!
