I never thought a pizza could be so good when cooked in an electric oven instead of a wood oven. But this place proves it! I was late to make a reservation and they were fully occupied (in winter on a Tuesday night!). But they helped us (a group of 4) to have a seat at the bar. It was also a very good experience to be there right next to the oven, watching the master to create the pizza. Definitely, a place not to miss for pizza lovers!

As a regular customer (and Neapolitan), I can't recommend this pizzeria highly enough. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly, and the pizzas themselves, besides the lightness of the dough, are truly impressive, as is the consistently exceptional quality of the ingredients. I usually order takeout, but even on busy evenings, the wait has never been excessive.

An institution here in Reggio Emilia. We've eaten many unique pizzas, in my case using ground coffee. Truly delicious, very small but quiet and elegant.

23/02/2026: Tortelli are out of this world. I tried the pear and walnut ones. Thin pastry, well-seasoned. Really good. I'll be back to try the rest.
21/02/2026: Excellent restaurant, truly delicious food, and impeccable service. The atmosphere is pleasant and the food is excellent. The only small flaw is that if you sit near the window, there's a rather annoying draft. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

29/03/2026: Truly delicious and carefully prepared dishes. Wide selection of quality gluten-free options. Excellent and fast service. Average prices and in line with the products offered. Friendly and helpful staff. Recommended!
25/03/2026: We went to Piedigrotta 2.0 and had a really good meal, especially the fish. The grilled fish was excellent, and the first courses were also very good, well-made and flavorful. The pizza wasn't bad either, so there was something for everyone. Only one caveat: the wait was a bit long for a Thursday, but overall the experience was positive. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat good fish.
