29/02/2024: I had been years ago, probably under different management and after returning recently I must say that I was quite disappointed.
The place appears not very well kept and unwelcoming.
As soon as you enter, at least the evening we went, you are immediately invaded by a fried smell coming from the kitchens that permeates your clothes.
Decent starters, first and second courses; absolutely not bad, but nothing that particularly impresses you.
Good desserts though.
Friendly service and absolutely reasonable prices.
We can do better....

19/03/2024: Pizzeria easy to reach, has a large car park, nearby there are large green fields with lots of bunnies.
The pizzeria is large with many tables, and the pizza is very good and well seasoned, I liked it and I recommend it.

08/10/2023: Situato in piazza garibaldi a correggio.è una paninoteca ha pochi posti all'interno,con tavoli all'aperto.offre nel menù un vasto assortimento di panini,in più 4 tipologie di scelta di pane.ottimo anche l'erbazzone e come bevande tra birre,vino,coca cola o fanta e acqua.prezzi ottimi ve lo consiglio.5 stelle meritate.

19/02/2024: Good place, well furnished, welcoming, good car parking, good table service, order and cleanliness ok!! Large car park, good beer, good vegetable starters,...good overall, perhaps too many tables close together!! Too crowded, poor ventilation of the room with internal oven, good pizza must be requested high otherwise in the standard, it is too thin....... (schiacciatina). rather than calling it pizza!!

05/03/2024: Spectacular location for both the main one and the summer one which will open in the next few months.
Marco and all his staff are fantastic.
Great place to spend a great evening with friends.

This is what arrived.
No olives, no extra mushrooms which however were paid for.
Also 30 minute delay despite having booked in advance.
25/02/2024: Restaurant and pizzeria, the place is welcoming, the staff is kind and professional, as far as the menu is concerned, good pizza and fish, including hot and cold starters, first courses, second courses, fish side dishes, all good. Traditional, I've never tasted it, I don't give any judgements!! Good menu wines, average price for a fish-based dinner. Then it has a small summer terrace with outdoor tables.

27/09/2023: Very nice restaurant that is somewhat spared from the tourist crowds. The food is great and of course the ambience too. The best location to end the day comfortably in Varenna.
Food is a bit expensive, but that's also what makes the location special.
10/09/2023: Stephano was very helpful and kind with a cheerful attitude. It was a great day to spend in Varenna (€30 euros day pass) by the pool with a view of the lake. Includes sun bed, pool access, shower / changing room access and towel hire.
It is 4 stars instead of 5 because the pool isn’t heated and non members had to lie down at the back rather than at the front of the lake.

Genuine and typical dishes of local cuisine, cuisine never "too heavy" with the right balance, recommended to try.

The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very pleasant and to make everything even more pleasant there are the excellent dishes offered by the kitchen and the vast variety of drinks to choose from and combine.
I recommend it both for an evening with friends and for a slightly more intimate evening.
A destination for those who want to visit Correggio.
