23/08/2026: We spent lunch on Ferragosto (August 15th) at the Circolo della Caccia Monte Vangelo and the experience was simply impeccable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with extraordinary warmth. With me, my 85-year-old mother (on crutches) and my two dogs (6-year-old Havana and little Otis, just two months and weighing 3.5 pounds), the staff was immediately attentive, offering us the option of sitting right away or waiting in the beautiful outdoor area. At 12:30, we were seated in the dining room. The fixed holiday menu was beautifully designed, with the freedom to choose between a single dish or a trio, for both first and second courses. The portions were super generous and the quality excellent: Tortelli d'erba: simply out of this world. Tortelli di zucca: personal taste, but I would have preferred them a little sweeter. Bomba di riso with porcini mushrooms and truffle: spectacular, I just couldn't speak for it! Trio of main courses: lamb chops, tender and not at all greasy, scaloppine with porcini mushrooms, and a horse tartare with truffles made with the freshest meat. To finish, an excellent mascarpone with berries, coffee, and a Montenegro bitter, perfectly served with two ice cubes. The real added value of this place, besides the food, is the staff: affable, attentive to every need, kind, and ready to pamper you in every way. They truly make you feel at home. We will definitely be back!

08/06/2026: Classic Reggio Emilia trattoria, exceptional first courses, gnocco, and tigelle, excellent cured meats, delicious house Spergola wine, and delicious desserts. Attentive, friendly, and helpful staff. Very good value.

25/05/2026: A trusted source of food, for at least 30 years. If I want good gnocco and tigelle at a fair price, I go there. The noise level could be improved a bit when it's busy, perhaps by installing soundproofing, but it can easily be avoided by booking just outside of peak times. A regular stop for us when we're in the area 👍

30/06/2026: I returned to this restaurant after a negative experience a few years ago, and I must say I was completely changed. This time, the dinner was truly excellent: we had a seafood appetizer and a fried fish platter, both very good, with fresh, well-cooked fish. The service was also friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome.
