14/08/2025: The place is simple but tidy and clean. There's not an infinite selection, quite the opposite... but you know: you can't maintain a high level of quality with too many dishes on the menu. Everything is really good, even the wines. In my opinion, the price is reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended.

17/08/2025: I dined at this trattoria in August with my family. It's located next to the Ludovico Ariosto Theater, and as soon as you enter, you breathe in the air reminiscent of history and tradition. This same tradition is reflected in the dishes, including strictly handmade pasta and tortelli, and the time-honored flavors of Reggio Emilia's finest culinary specialties, expertly explained by the owner, whose words clearly convey his love and passion for his work. The platter of cured meats, parmesan, and fried gnocco are excellent. The tortelli dish is highly recommended, all accompanied by a fantastic house Lambrusco, and to finish, the zuppa inglese (trifle) and a herb liqueur unlike anything you've found anywhere else. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Reggio Emilia, a truly beautiful city, both for its churches and historic buildings, and for the relaxed atmosphere it exudes.

11/08/2025: Unfortunately, this is without a doubt the worst plate of pasta I've ever eaten. It was completely overcooked, and even if it had been cooked to perfection, the sauce was still unpleasant. I couldn't even manage three forkfuls, and I ended up paying almost 50 euros.

15/08/2025: Enjoy your lunch. We came with my family for lunch on Saturday. The restaurant is very quaint, and the outdoor dining area upstairs is lovely, with a beautiful view of the hills. For appetizers, we had mushroom crostini and fried mushrooms, all very good, although the fried mushrooms included not only porcini mushrooms but also pleurotus. Then for main courses, the truffle cappelletti, pumpkin tortelli with truffle, and cappellacci with their sauce were delicious. Everything was very good and tasty. The only flaw was the bill, which was too high.

20/07/2025: Everything was good, very kind, it's a shame that the table next to us was made up of only men... instead of talking, they shouted so loudly that none of us could hear what we were saying. In the end, we were silent, it was pointless to talk... it's a shame because the owner should have intervened for the well-being of his guests.

20/08/2025: Our first time in Reggio Emilia, we stumbled upon this lovely restaurant by pure chance. The well-kept, clean, and welcoming atmosphere, combined with the good food and the friendly, attentive service of the ladies who run it, made our lunch a truly enjoyable one. We loved it!!! Bravo!!

28/07/2025: Unfortunately, the pizzas were terrible because we were sick. The products were definitely expired or poorly stored. The pizzas were a buffalo mozzarella, a cooked ham, a red pizza, and two pulled margheritas. Everything is takeout.

04/07/2025: We stopped by in the evening and had a great time, very friendly staff and excellent food.. The portions are very generous and the meat is out of this world! The Rossena Castle on one side and the hilly panorama all around are the worthy setting for this magnificent place and perfectly Viking themed.. We will definitely be back..

29/06/2025: The best Viking pub of Italian guys, fantastic atmosphere food and drinks worthy of a Long Hall, where everyone can enjoy and celebrate. I will definitely come back, thanks to the guys who made me feel in the 9th century in Norway. Yggdraisl is a symbol of community, various communities that live together in a single place and they have succeeded. Thanks again.

26/07/2025: This osteria a hidden gem. The gnocchi Ligabue is absolutely delicious. They deliver excellent service in a classy but comfortable atmosphere, with local clientele. Families welcomed. Well worth a visit.

20/07/2025: Very good food. Comfortable atmosphere. Friendly staff. Prices are moderately high. The only downside: I had to walk between two tables to get to the cash register, and a woman sitting at one of the tables wasn't very happy with the experience.

20/08/2025: The place is truly enchanting, surrounded by greenery and with a stunning view of the city. The restaurant is beautiful, with friendly and courteous service. The dishes are good quality, the meat, the desserts. The fried gnocchi and erbazzone are excellent, light and not greasy. A completely positive experience.
