30/03/2026: I've been there twice for aperitivo, and I have to say the cocktails and food were excellent. But even more so, the service was excellent. Especially the girl named Nadia, incredibly kind and helpful. It's not a given to find people like that. Congratulations, Nadia.

04/11/2025: An hidden gem and oasis in Varenna where to spend a fantastic day by the pool away from the madness of the touristy crowded village streets. We just love it here, you can even swim in the lake since they have a private dock. Food is also good and sunset hour is spectacular.

14/11/2025: Good morning, Today we went to the store and bought erbazzone (insanely good) and two slices of pizza. We were very satisfied, both with the succulent products and the kindness of the staff. I highly recommend it to everyone. Massimiliano Zanotti 😎

28/10/2025: I can't give the restaurant a positive review because tonight, although it's not written that dogs are not allowed, nor were we even told this when we booked, once we arrived at the restaurant they showed us to a table and Mr. Gherri, Ghirri as he is, came to the table and in a few words told us to leave because we were accompanied by our dog. The restaurant was empty, only one table was occupied by two people, the dog is medium-sized and calm. I explained my disagreement and he said that the rule applies to everyone since September of this year, but it's not written. I kept calm and clearly explained that the ban on dogs wasn't mentioned but that I preferred to leave because they were not welcome. The innkeeper, or whoever he is, continued to give senseless and polite reasons that it was his rule for the last month. He says he's a chef, fine, stay in the kitchen and don't talk to the customers because he's definitely lost three tonight and he's lucky I kept calm, I was with my children. I don't recommend it because of the innkeeper's bad manners and his rude manners.

17/04/2026: I ate at the agriturismo yesterday… very light fried dumplings with delicious cold cuts… then tortelli in six variations… the best ever, the tortello alla brezza… delicious

04/04/2026: A true agriturismo, one of those authentic ones that takes you back in time. We stayed at La Brezza for one night. The welcome is familiar, the food is homely, and the rooms are furnished like grandma's—a treat for the soul. Waking up immersed in the countryside, enveloped in silence and greeted by the smiles of the management staff was a privilege. For those seeking all this, La Brezza is the ideal place. Little four-legged friends are warmly welcomed.

17/08/2025: Group lunch for about 20 people, during the Three Lakes Trail. Two tables for 10 had been reserved, but we were in different rooms, for some reason. The lunch was a fixed menu. The typical appetizer was pleasant. Next up was testaroli (nothing exceptional) or lasagna. The main course (sautéed) was saltimbocca alla romana or eggplant parmigiana. Dessert was panna cotta (a bit runny) or fiordilatte gelato with an industrial-strength topping. Water, wine (one carafe for many people), and coffee. Let's just say that for €35, you usually get better food in the Apennines. It's nice that I didn't order a main course, so I got a small discount. The decor is stuck in the '80s, but that's the least of our problems; we weren't expecting anything different.

12/04/2026: Salvatore and his family have renovated this historic restaurant (formerly Veliero), and with their menu, I think they're the best choice for good food in a quiet, relaxing setting! The pasta e fagioli with clams and mussels or the seafood risotto, along with their signature dishes, are, in my opinion, the best! Highly recommended!
