We had dinner at this farmhouse for Valentine's Day... I'll start by saying that getting there isn't easy given the bumpy road, but once you enter, you see this beautiful farmhouse in the middle of the countryside. We were, however, a little disappointed with the food. A plate of various cured meats accompanied by tiny fried gnocco with very few pieces (in fact, half of the cured meat was eaten with bread). A second course of first courses was okay, but the sliced ​​steak had practically half the fat that we had to remove. The dessert (strawberry tiramisu) wasn't a big hit because we both don't like alcohol, and the base was made of Alchermes... which we didn't expect from a dessert with that name. Let's just say that spending €40 for this menu without even wine (since we're both teetotalers) seemed a bit excessive... and maybe avoiding the kitchen shouting "I can't take it anymore! I'm not getting out of this alive tonight" and things like that would be the best... especially on a night like this.

Welcoming staff (we were last to arrive and were greeted with a smile, a rarity these days, congratulations) in a renovated farmhouse in the Reggio Emilia countryside. Excellent local cuisine with impeccable traditional dishes. Delicious tagliatelle with ragù and tortelli with herbs, and the exquisite gnocco fritto with cured meats was also excellent. To wash it all down, we opted for a house Lambrusco, which paired perfectly with the dishes. The recommended desserts were zuppa inglese and tiramisu. Good value. I will definitely try it again.

We ate well both on Christmas Day and on the 1st. The place was welcoming and warm, with a pleasant atmosphere. The service was fast, and the staff were friendly and available to satisfy any need.

Truly a wonderful location!! The dishes we ordered were incredibly special and delicious. One thing that struck me most was the fireplace, which, in my opinion, adds a lot of charm to the place. Reasonable prices and very kind staff! Very romantic, in fact, I want to go back for a lunch with sweet friends!

What can I say...excellent cuisine, excellent service in a quiet location, and everything is strictly homemade. The charcuterie platter with fried gnocco was delicious and plentiful. We then continued with tagliatelle with ragù and tortelli Brezza with prosciutto, parmesan, and sheep's milk ricotta. A special mention goes to the fig tart and chocolate cake. The finishing touch was an excellent nocino liqueur. We'll definitely be back.

Aside from the starters, which were good, everything else was acceptable. The wines were truly inadequate. The price was a bit high.
