Absolutely serene place. We came to Varenna with a plan to explore the lake for a day, ended up spending it here instead. Beautiful views, great staff, lovely food and the Italian Stallion manager was great.

This is the best place! Sun, shade, pool, and lake. Staff was amazing! Quick and fun service. Food/drinks were great. Lobster spaghetti! 30€ from open to close--no pressure or gimmicks. Sat there for 7.5 hours on a 35 deg day and was cool as a cucumber. Super fun and relaxing way to enjoy Lake Como!

A beautiful place with a rather chilly pool, but the setting is simply breathtaking. Okay, the price is a bit steep, but you also have to remember that tranquility is a luxury, so if it's something you can't afford, then you're free to go elsewhere. In any case, I went there with my son. The manager, a tall, muscular man, is actually very welcoming, smiling, and speaks excellent English. The view and the panorama are simply relaxing. Thank you to the team for the warm welcome.

IL MELOGRANO DI MATILDE

13/05/2026: Il Melograno di Matilde is a restaurant/osteria with an attached B&B located on the road to the Rossenella Tower and Rossena Castle. The view is breathtaking, and there are several nearby walks to enjoy. The summer terrace is very well-maintained, and they also organize summer events. The interior is spacious and well-furnished, although the temperature is a bit chilly. We came here on Wednesday for the pizza tour. The pizza was really good and light, with excellent quantity and quality. Friendly staff, reasonable prices.
10/05/2026: We went for lunch during a car rally. It was a large group, so we booked in advance and pre-arranged the menu. Everything was perfect, delicious food, and fast, friendly service. Highly recommended!
