17/07/2025: Ottimo posto in centro a Bologna, dove si può trovare una cucina salutare e vegana, con piatti semplici come insalata di farro e più ricercati come l'acai bowl. C'è anche una vasta scelta di smoothies, consigliato il sunset.

13/10/2025: A very select regional and traditional selection. Friendly chef who guides you through the menu and explains the dishes. Excellent wine selection. The Michelin star is definitely deserved. Thank you for the lovely evening.

11/10/2025: We entered and were greeted by the staff and seated, but the walls were full of skunks (insects). We asked for a change of seats and pointed out the problem, and they moved us to a worse place than ever, even more full of these insects, so much so that one of the diners felt ill. Then the owner arrived and began describing the dishes and chit-chat (WHEN A CUSTOMER SITS DOWN THEY WANT TO EAT AND NOT LISTEN TO USELESS CHATTER). 3 APPETIZERS, 3 FIRST COURSES, 3 MAIN COURSES, 2 SOLCI, A COFFEE, 4 BOTTLES OF WATER AND ONE OF LAMBRUSCO, 235 EUROS (IF IT HAD BEEN EATEN), TASTINGS. TIP: LESS TALK, AN INFESTATION TREATMENT.

20/09/2025: In the center of Baricella, Trattoria Venturoli is a must. Its menu features Bolognese cuisine, with frogs as a specialty. The risotto is out of this world, with a fantastic selection of fried and stewed frogs. The service is friendly and homey, and the atmosphere is reminiscent of the past.

25/08/2025: A restaurant stuck in the 1960s or perhaps 1950s. The menu features very few dishes, with frog specialties taking center stage. Everything we ordered was delicious. Rice with frogs. Home-made tortelloni with butter and sage. Fried frogs and cacciatore style. Special mention also for the potatoes and sautéed chicory. Spectacular fior di latte. Quick and friendly service. The price wasn't the cheapest, but given the quality of what we ate, it was more than fair.

05/10/2025: Il Veliero Restaurant is located near the Bologna train station in a side street and the view from the outside does not give away the treasure hidden inside. I found the restaurant when I was staying nearby and ended up returning every evening during my stay. The numerous table reservations and people waiting for a free table inside and outside speak for how good it is. The service is very kind and attentive and the food is simply amazing! I tried pizza and pasta and everything was perfect. On the last evening I also had tiramisu for dessert and it was out of this world. If you are in Bologna I definitely recommend trying this restaurant.

The truffle fiocchetti, in particular, are exceptional and among the best I've ever tasted. The combination of the delicate, rich flavors of the truffle with the fresh pasta is simply divine. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic, high-quality culinary experience in the heart of Bologna.

03/10/2025: We were here for an aperitif. Excellent service, a relaxed atmosphere, and not too touristy, close to the university district. They not only served the usual chips with our drinks but also delicious bruschetta. A definite recommendation, away from the crowds.

08/10/2025: I visited this restaurant to celebrate my birthday and chose the full tasting menu with the wine pairing. The service was excellent and the food was truly well prepared – refined and delicious throughout the eight courses. However, the experience felt unbalanced: there was simply too much food, while the wine servings were disappointingly small for the price. At €80 for the pairing, I expected more generous pours and a smoother flow between wines. The pre-dinner glass of champagne (€20) was also surprisingly small. Overall, a fine restaurant with great service and food, but the value and proportions could be improved.

30/09/2025: Great find in Bologna. Ended up booking this during my honeymoon with my wife and they went above and beyond to make the experience special. Went with the tasting menu set by the kitchen and was impressed with the mix of traditional and more experimental modern ones as well. Service was a standout with the servers working more as a team- in particular Andrea took the time to discuss some of the history of the restaurant with us which was super cool.

16/10/2025: The place seems nice, but we had a bad experience with the waitress: we ordered spritzes (which are on the menu), she looked at us with a surprised expression and replied, "Are you serious? This is a cocktail bar; if you need spritzes, go to the bar downstairs." She wasn't trying to be serious, so don't come if you're looking for anything other than sophisticated cocktails. We definitely won't be back.

13/10/2025: This is a world class bar dressed up as a cozy neighborhood joint. Drinks and bar food are impeccable.

15/10/2025: The best pizza I eat here, the creamy one, simply delicious for those who like cheese, and a delicate touch of asparagus, this is special, I always come back

22/10/2025: We made a reservation here, the food was okay, a bit more expensive, and the portions were small, but it was delicious, there was a waitress who spoke Spanish, so that helps a lot, they have an extensive wine list, and we ordered a lambrusquito, the bread you see is the Tigelle artigianali di Zocca, the minimum order is three and they cost 2 euros each, but they are very delicious.
