13/10/2024: I was especially intrigued by seeing the excellent reviews, so during my accommodation in Villasimius I decided to try it. I thought I was eating a good sandwich, but I didn't think I was eating an EXCEPTIONAL sandwich!! The owner is very kind and the second time we were there he made us feel as if we had been regular customers for years, because after trying it once we obviously came back! Absolutely worth trying.

04/01/2025: Impeccable dinner in a historic former convent with competent and customer-focused staff. Delicious food and excellent service directed by the maitre Francesco. Once dinner was over, Antonio, one of the waiters, acted as a guide to the historic parts of the building: in this regard, a lovely fountain by Bernini and the enchanting panoramic terrace are of particular note.

A slightly minimalist location, an unwelcoming environment, everything was good but I wasn't particularly impressed by any of the dishes and I would have expected some dishes garnished with something seasonal: . Maybe worth trying again. Definitely deserving staff

18/01/2025: Decent food at a nice price. The "non solo vino" pairing was odd; cocktails were mediocre and did not go well with the dishes. Service was really bizzare. Door was locked and servers ignored us knocking on the door. We were also left to recover our own jacket from the closet and unlock that door on the way out.

06/01/2025: This review is based on my personal experience and therefore is absolutely not intended to damage the image of the place. We booked on The Fork attracted by the good reviews and the interesting menu, where the sea reigns supreme but where there is also no shortage of excellent land alternatives. The first thing we notice once seated is that the menu prices are much higher than not only those seen on the app where we booked but also those on their website. Since it is a holiday we decide not to worry about it but we believe that it should still be reported to avoid unpleasant surprises for those who choose which restaurant to book in, perhaps also based on how much they will then spend. Let's come to lunch. We started by ordering a bottle of white wine listed on the menu but another one was brought to us. We were told that it would be paid in the same way but here too we were deprived of the possibility of choosing a little because if we had been told straight away that it wasn't there perhaps we would have opted for something else, instead we found ourselves as forced to accept that. As for the food, nothing to complain about. Excellent seafood spaghetti, well-treated fresh turbot and crispy, dry frying. The dessert didn't make me so crazy but more for my personal taste and not for the goodness of the product. Let's get to the sore point, the one that mainly affects my review: the service. A first course, a second course and a sweet waiting time of 2 hours and 15 minutes, which was really too long. Numerous tables present near ours (there were only 2 of us) were served first despite having arrived well after us. I don't think I've ever waited so long for a dessert and a coffee. I felt like pointing this out to the owner who partially remedied it by apologizing and applying a small discount to a bill that was still too high. I don't know whether to recommend it or not, personally, for the reasons explained above, I won't go back.

09/01/2025: Very good pizza, light and also tasty. A real Neapolitan pizza! Just enough to enjoy it 😋. We also returned on the first of the year and luckily they were still open; in the following days they closed for holidays. Thank you for your service and courtesy, happy holidays.

29/12/2024: Finally last night I managed to try the famous cutting boards and I must say that they are absolutely the best ones. In addition to the fact that they are abundantly colorful and varied, the striking thing is the taste of everything you taste. Together with my husband and my brother, we compliment the owners for everything...kindness, professionalism, helpfulness and courtesy. A tip: try it!!!!!! Thank you and see you soon Valentina

03/01/2025: A very nice and tastefully decorated restaurant where you can also have excellent and tasty food. Upscale category, which can certainly be recommended for a special occasion. The food was prepared with attention to detail and tasted wonderful.

10/01/2025: A great find, right next to the Colosseum. Homemade food, with a family atmosphere, typical Roman. Very reasonable prices and delicious and abundant food.

08/01/2025: I wasn't expecting much since it was a tourist area near the Colosseum, but it turned out to be a very nice traditional Roman restaurant. There was a menu in Japanese, and the staff were very kind, cheerful, and pleasant, and I was very satisfied. Amatriciana was saltier than the Japanese seasoning, which made the wine go well. It's a popular restaurant, so we recommend making reservations or going early.

15/01/2025: Quality meat at prices calculated based on weight, attentive service. Possibility of having further cooking at the table, thanks to a griddle. Street parking. Open only for dinner. Absolutely necessary to book. Closed on Sunday. Italian and foreign meats on display in refrigerators.

The first spatials interpreted with originality but inspired by the Mediterranean tradition. The latter ... taken from the great classics where quality makes the difference! The pizza is truly exceptional!!! Service like in the old days (that makes you feel at home). True courtesy! I am writing this review after many family dinners and then also work dinners. 20/01/2025: Beautiful and very well-kept place, kind and attentive staff, the products and various things taken were very good and tasty, the quality can be felt. The only flaw is that the various cuts of meat have prices that are not exactly in line with the market. We took a t-bone and it was excellent, but 90 euros/kg is a bit too much.
