It was truly a taste experience, thanks to the perfect pairings, expertly researched and created. The host appeared fleetingly, like a great artist who prefers to let his creations take center stage. 11/02/2026: "Much more than a meal, a true encounter!" We'd read some amazing reviews on Google, so we came with incredibly high expectations... And the result? We were blown away. We went for the full three-course meal: starter, main, and dessert, and frankly, it was flawless, pure bliss on a plate. What really touched us was the chef. He came to our table twice to tell us where his ingredients came from and how he came up with his recipes. You can feel his genuine passion, and it makes all the difference to the experience. The service is impeccable, the atmosphere is perfect... In short, if you're ever in the area, don't hesitate for a second, it's a gem!

10/01/2026: We spent a few days in Pistoia for the Christmas holidays, and on the evening of January 1st, craving a nice Florentine steak, we stumbled upon this typical trattoria. They offer a fixed-price menu, which I recommend, which includes mixed appetizers, a Florentine steak of a weight appropriate for the number of guests, three side dishes, and a dessert. Drinks are not included. The owner, like the staff, is incredibly welcoming. You can tell they really care about explaining the quality and provenance of the meat. Oh! By the way, aside from appetizers and side dishes: THEY ONLY EAT MEAT! It's a real steakhouse; they don't do first courses, they don't do fish... What a steak, folks! Served on piping hot plates so it doesn't get cold, and cut at the table by the owner himself. The only flaw: they served us French meat. Good, tender, but not the most flavorful. I would have preferred local meat. Anyway, I recommend it. It's worth it.

06/01/2026: This traditional Tuscan restaurant is located on Via Sant'Andrea in Pistoia, in a beautiful medieval building restored with exposed brick and stone. Enjoy fabulous grilled meats and traditional dishes with tasty crostini, excellent cured meats, side dishes, and appetizers, accompanied by a wide selection of white and red wines. The owners, with great professionalism and kindness, recommend these wines, turning a simple dinner into a truly exquisite culinary experience. The restaurant is truly beautiful, meticulously maintained, and fantastic for photographs. Excellent in every way! The food, wines, hospitality, and sophistication. Recommended restaurant!

02/03/2026: The Carraccis offer a unique experience. The interiors are beautiful and evocative, covered in frescoes by the Carracci brothers. The tasting menu is a journey that will leave you speechless. You discover flavors I never thought I'd experience with such common and traditional ingredients. The "La Dotta, La Grassa, La Rossa" menu explores Emilian and Bolognese traditions with innovations in every dish. For example, the Parmigiano Reggiano extract accompanying the mortadella terrine was a unique explosion of flavors. Words cannot describe the deliciousness of the tortellini, lasagnetta, and petroniana. Three perfect dishes, flawless, perfectly constructed, with just the right proportions. The best dishes I've ever eaten. The lemon splash is a real treat; it literally explodes in your mouth and washes away all the savory flavors, preparing your palate for the desserts. Even the desserts were perfect. Excellent service; all the waiters were very kind, knowledgeable, and friendly. Despite the charming setting, the waiters manage to make you feel at home, as if you were having a family dinner. A particularly nice gesture was when a waiter came to clear the breadcrumbs from our table and told us that they actually recommend that customers break the bread with their hands and crumble it on the table, because it's a convivial gesture that makes them feel at home, and that's what they want their guests to feel, and we certainly felt that way. Furthermore, there's a very extensive wine list and the sommelier is extremely knowledgeable and kind.

16/02/2026: We tried the "La dotta, la grassa, la rossa" tasting menu, and I must say it was a truly impeccable experience. Each course was meticulously crafted, with rich and well-balanced flavors. Everything, absolutely everything, was exquisite. The setting is elegant and enchanting, the kind that immediately makes you feel special. The service was perfect: attentive, precise, and never intrusive. A tasting worthwhile, especially if you want to experience Bologna at its best. Highly recommended!

11/03/2026: The most delicious, simple but magical pizza I’ve ever had. Small cozy place that feels authentic and warm, their staff were the sweetest people (I even got a Nutella pizza as a gift and they asked me about allergies)! I took it to go and ate them at the Villa Borghese. 10/10 experience, would recommend!

10/03/2026: A quick-service pizza place. The pizza chef has won awards for his work. He personally serves you, along with an employee who's worked there for years. We not only had a delicious pizza, but he also let us try one with Nutella. This one was a gift. Since it's a quick-service place, it has some high stools and a counter.

08/03/2026: We went to Cecco's for dinner in the Alta Langa area. We discovered it while browsing the restaurants and trattorias closest to the Alta Langa region, and despite calling to reserve a table "at the last minute," they were very accommodating in welcoming us at 9:00 PM. The service was impeccable, high-quality, and the atmosphere comfortable, both rustic and elegant. Such attention to guests is rare: the bathroom is equipped with everything you need, far beyond the norm. The menu features classic Piedmontese dishes with a touch of Italian influence. I really appreciated the chef's innovative approach, bringing a breath of fresh air from beyond the region (for example, tajarin with Bolognese ragù). The description describes an excellent restaurant with a truly excellent quality-price ratio. We are thrilled to have discovered such a refined osteria, and we will return when we next visit the Langhe!

01/03/2026: A pleasant discovery! On a Sunday strolling among hazelnut trees in the Langhe, we discovered this place, where our first impression was very positive. Our first impression was confirmed, no complaints there. From the dishes to the staff, everything was very positive; smiles and kindness reign supreme. Everything was truly impeccable! This place will remain in the top ten places to enjoy good food and relaxation. In short, a place well worth a visit.

Everything is in the right place to make you feel at ease and have a wonderful evening, starting with the friendly and highly trained staff, and ending with the masterfully prepared dishes made with top-quality ingredients. In fact, it's the only restaurant in Milan that I highly recommend to friends and business clients, even for a quick lunch.

28/11/2025: The pistachio "bull's-eye" pastry was amazing, and the chocolate one was very good too. The waiters were super friendly. The coffee was good as well. Perhaps the only downside was the loud music on the radio. I would definitely go back.

21/11/2025: The Attibassi bistro in Bologna is a spacious, well-kept, and truly beautiful place. The owners, Elvin and Irma, are warm, kind, and always available. Their son, Alex, also deserves a special mention: he makes impeccable coffee. The pastries are always fresh and delicious, but their real strength is their Albanian cuisine, with tasty and carefully crafted dishes that I absolutely recommend you try. Every dish exudes tradition and authenticity. In short, for me, it's one of the best bistros in Bologna: welcoming, authentic, and with excellent quality in both service and food. I highly recommend it!
