03/10/2025: There were four of us and we had a truly wonderful time. The place is welcoming, modern, and meticulously crafted. The service was excellent, with the staff being incredibly friendly. The Pinza was a real discovery: crispy on the outside, soft and well-risen on the inside, with top-quality toppings. We also tried the arancini: perfectly fried, evenly browned, impeccably crispy, and not at all greasy, just the right amount of moisture. The desserts were a revelation, a worthy end to an already excellent dinner. Highly recommended!

04/10/2025: I celebrated my birthday here last night and it was a delightful discovery. The atmosphere is charming, the menu exceptional, and the food quality exceptional, with a wide variety of traditional dishes and rediscovered flavors. Superlatives abound. The wine cellar is vast and very well-stocked, and the two-tier cheese cart is simply spectacular. The service was excellent, with great courtesy and professionalism; the owners are friendly and love to pamper their customers. Finally, the price was absolutely fair. It's impossible to ask for anything better; we'll definitely be back, and often!

I can't say which course I liked best because everything was wow, and that's certainly not a given, on the contrary... Excellent bread making and expert display of truly excellent ingredients. 18/09/2025: Opened in 1927 by the Beltramelli family, who ensured its success for decades, making it a place of social gathering, the Trattoria delle Miniere in Lenna, a secluded village in the heart of the Bergamo Brembana Valley, has undergone a transformation since 2020. Little in form, much in substance. After several formative experiences that allowed him to acquire techniques and awareness, the young Lorenzo Bonini returned to his hometown and took over the historic trattoria, with clear ideas about what his cuisine would be, which unequivocally revolves around one key expression: territory. Yes, because it is the Brembana Valley, with its products—the fruit of typically mountain agriculture and farming methods—that Lorenzo wants to promote. The connection with the territory and its products also signifies the memory of traditional cuisine. A memory that Lorenzo Bonini wishes to embrace, through the techniques he has acquired, to propose a contemporary cuisine. The menu, always subject to change based on product availability, perfectly represents Lorenzo's vision of cuisine, which always features references to tradition, but updated and reinterpreted with a personal touch. Thus, on the late May menu, we find Taleggio cocotte (a typical cheese named after the nearby valley of the same name, where it is produced), "Le selvagge" melted egg (named after the company that produces them in Nembro, not far from the restaurant, from Livorno chickens raised free-range in the woods), Catalogna and wild herbs; "Panada," a reinterpretation of the local bread soup (served warm) with thyme-infused tomato cubes, breadcrumbs and crumble, and trout roe; The traditional casoncelli (made with water and flour and stuffed with roast beef and sausage), from which Lorenzo has removed the "weight" (in the traditional recipe) of the pancetta and added, at the customer's discretion, a dash of cinnamon flavoring, fortunately without removing the melted mountain butter. Next up are the green gnocchi with Agrì (a Slow Food Presidium cheese, made from cow's or goat's milk, produced by the Latteria Sociale of nearby Valtorta) and dandelion, flavored with wild garlic; the local goat roulade (roulade) with its rosemary sauce and sautéed seasonal vegetables; and the braised pork cheek, fresh mustard, and whipped potato puree. The dessert menu also confirms the close attention to the local gastronomic culture. Here, we find the delicious puff pastry cuffin (a type of muffin/brioche), served warm, to be dunked in Moscato di Scanzo rösömada (a zabaglione) (another local delicacy), and Leadél (local dialect for "yeast"), a successful reinterpretation of Lenna's traditional holiday cake. Lunch or dinner begins with delicious amuse-bouche where the fragrance of bread, focaccia, and polenta sheets (made from local cornmeal)—all homemade—are enhanced by the deliciousness of mountain butter, and concludes with a pre-dessert. Even coffee (of remarkable quality) is served accompanied by small homemade friandises. Two affordable tasting menus are available, with 4 or 6 courses, at 45 and 55 euros, respectively. For consistency (and, in this case, courage), the wine list also features exclusively local wineries. This is a choice we appreciate and share. The service is familiar (literally), professional, and places the customer in the best position to fully experience this compelling gastronomic experience. The restaurant, renovated and beautifully furnished in the same space as the historic trattoria, is modern, spacious, and bright. There are just a few (round) tables, well-spaced. The old bar counter at the entrance has been thoughtfully preserved. The outdoor area could be better enhanced. Perhaps in the near future.

29/07/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant with my family; we opted for the tasting menu. The dishes are beautifully presented and prepared with excellent ingredients. I personally enjoyed the appetizers and stuffed pasta, but the risotto was a little less so, but that's a matter of personal preference. The staff is friendly and helpful. The outdoor area is well-kept and spacious, and there's also a pleasant relaxation corner and a children's play area. I would gladly return.

27/09/2025: We didn't take any photos of the dishes because we couldn't resist! The "crostone quinto" was delicious, made with fresh, quality ingredients. The appetizers were also excellent, especially the "fried pasta with pancetta and pistachio cream," the "chips with quinto sauce," and the "arancinetti with Angus ragù" (not as small as the name suggests, but well-fried and delicious). The cocktails were decent, but could be improved! Just one small complaint about the Spritz, which was a bit too watery... The location, just steps from Milazzo Castle, is very charming. Recommended; we'll gladly return!

We ordered a peppered fillet steak and a roasted chicken leg with sautéed vegetables, accompanied by a side of potatoes: everything was simply delicious. The wine, very kindly recommended by the wait staff, proved to be a perfect pairing. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service attentive, and the cuisine truly excellent. Highly recommended!

12/10/2025: I hosted my sister's bachelorette party here, and I couldn't have chosen a better place! I'd been preparing everything since June, and despite the long time that had passed and a few unexpected events that forced me to reschedule, the staff was always incredibly kind and helpful. I'm from Milan, so organizing from afar wasn't easy, but it was definitely worth it. The venue is welcoming, well-kept, and immersed in a completely medieval atmosphere: from the decor to the menu. We had a fun evening, full of laughter and anecdotes, thanks in part to the friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff, who made us feel immediately at ease. My only regret is that I live so far away, because I would love to return! If you love a medieval setting or simply want to experience a different kind of evening, I absolutely recommend it! ❤️
09/10/2025: The restaurant is truly unique, the only one in Turin with a medieval atmosphere and a unique menu. The selection of dishes varies according to the season, with the exception of some bestsellers, which are unique because they're cooked with medieval twists. They're truly excellent! The drinks are traditional, but you can also find more classic ones. The owners are wonderful: Daniela and Alberto are down-to-earth, friendly, and attentive to their customers. They also often host truly wonderful themed events; the best I've ever attended are undoubtedly the dinner in the dark, held in the basement of the restaurant, and the various murder mystery dinners, featuring stories and characters written by Alberto!

The fish is incredibly fresh and seasonal. We were a party of five, and all the dishes we ordered were superb. The gluten-free option, from appetizer to dessert, is particularly noteworthy! The chef, being celiac, understands the importance of this, and she's also a great pastry chef!

The menu is simple, with just a few select options, and this very choice demonstrates a great attention to the quality of the ingredients. Each dish seems tailor-made, crafted with exquisite ingredients, unusual combinations, and details that engage all the senses: spices, nuts, crunchy textures... it's a true gastronomic experience. The setting is intimate and cozy, with limited seating creating a warm, family-like atmosphere. The service was impeccable, with a kind, knowledgeable, and attentive waitress. One detail that struck us: upon arrival, we found a personalized note on the table wishing us a good evening. A simple gesture, but one that makes all the difference. During the wait, we were offered a taste of the local cuisine, including toasted bread and a truly excellent sparkling red wine. At the end of the dinner, in addition to dessert, we were treated to artisanal rosolio and amaro liqueurs, accompanied by a box of homemade chocolates. For the quality of the experience, the price is absolutely fair—in fact, it's probably less than the true value of what's on offer. A big round of applause to the chef, who demonstrates ambition, technique, and heart. We can't wait to return. Best of luck to this special place!

18/09/2025: Amazing place in Catania. The chopping boards with pizza, cold cuts, cheese, olives and a beverage are a real deal and the food is delicious. Also, wine and Aperol spritz are served generously. We paid 12 EUR for the board with Aperol and 10 EUR for the other board with wine, the ones you can see in the picture. It looks like they only have tables on the street because the joint itself is very small but eating outside in Italy is the way to go! :)

The cuisine is traditional Umbrian, using quality ingredients: from the delicious pasta to the tender and flavorful tagliata. The homemade desserts are also delicious. The restaurant is well-kept and welcoming, with a wide and varied selection of wines, beautifully presented by the always friendly and professional staff. Special attention was also given to our little girl, who was welcomed with great enthusiasm and affection. We will definitely be back!

Even though it's a bit out of the city center, it's definitely worth a visit: the quality and atmosphere make every kilometer worthwhile. We started with a truly delicious platter of cured meats and cheeses, beautifully presented and made with top-quality ingredients. But the real star was the sliced ​​beef: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. A unique experience, hard to forget. We finished with desserts that were simply fabulous, something we'd want to eat again and again. The atmosphere is welcoming, with attention to detail, and a warm, relaxed feel. The service is impeccable: the staff is kind, attentive, and never intrusive. A place we'll definitely return to. Highly recommended!
