Iona Seafood is an innovative, young, and high-end restaurant, where seafood takes center stage, yet with a creativity that makes it unique. I tried the lobster sandwich: simply exquisite, balanced in flavor, and perfectly executed. The mackerel, prepared with great technique and originality, was a real discovery: an elaborate yet harmonious dish, truly exceptional. But the absolute highlight was the fried fish: incredibly abundant, crispy, light, and incredibly dry—a rare treat—and with a flavor that makes you want to order another immediately. The restaurant is modern, well-kept, and original, with a distinctive and refined feel. The idea of craft beers made in collaboration with them is wonderful: a detail that makes all the difference and demonstrates the passion and research behind it. The service was impeccable: the waiters were friendly, knowledgeable, and able to explain each dish with precision and enthusiasm, without ever being intrusive. The owners? A rarity: friendly, helpful, and with that genuine passion that makes you feel at home. Truly the best! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a different, tasty, and unique experience. I'll definitely be back!

24/07/2025: Personale gentile e disponibile: soddisfatte tutte le richieste extra senza problemi e senza costi extra, anzi loro stessi ci hanno chiesto se mancava qualcosa. Wiener schnitzel buona senza troppa impanatura + patatine ed una salsa di ribes rossi che io ho cambiato con maionese. Mia moglie: una maglifica insalata con pollo, feta e scaglie di parmigiano bella anche da vedere. Due radler come bevande. In conclusione buona location, personale disponibile e gentile, qualità dei cibi buona, prezzo 46 eu. Una bella serata!

23/07/2025: Wir sind 2-3 x im Jahr in der Miil zum Essen und werden in nächster Zeit eher nicht mehr kommen. Das Essen ist wie immer sehr gut, aber die Portionen sind mittlerweile wirklich sehr klein geraten, vorallem wenn man den Preis bedenkt. Es hätte wieder ein schöner Abend anlässlich meines Geburtstages sein sollen, aber leider gingen wir enttäuscht und mit Hunger. Die Atmosphäre war aber wie immer sehr schön, das Personal ausnahmslos freundlich. Bitte passt die Speisen wieder dem Preis an!

21/06/2025: A meal of clouds in the Sicilian sky From Cefalù you meander along winding roads that will take your breath away, and not just because of the hairpin bends, green valleys, and a view that would make even the gods blush. There, high in the mountains, where the air is thin and the silence thick, lies a restaurant that you would expect to find in a fairy tale rather than on Google Maps. You sit down on the terrace of Terrazza Costantino at a height where clouds are not above you, but next to you. And before you are even properly seated, it begins: a parade of works of art on porcelain. An amuse here, a whispered explosion of taste there. You taste Sicily, but at star level, without it having lost its peasant soul. The wines? Layered and exciting. No thirty-page wine list here, but a selection that perfectly complements all dishes. And then the bill… While you rub your belly and your heart is full, you receive the receipt. And you look again. And again. Not because it's high, but because you think they forgot to write down a course or four. You won't find a price-quality ratio like that anymore. So, are you a bit of a Burgundian, do you have a steering wheel and are not in a hurry? Then drive up that mountain. And if you think they're asking too little for so much happiness, just give an extra tip. Because places like that should continue to exist.

28/08/2025: A restaurant with live music, a pleasant atmosphere, good cuisine and delicious wines. We felt like it was a meeting place for art lovers. As foreign guests, we were a little out of line, but they were very kind and attentive to us, for example, they welcomed us within a few minutes even without a table reservation.

05/08/2025: Very good food (if you want typical Sicilian fried food, there's really everything) and very reasonably priced. Paolo, the guy who serves the food, is super friendly, and his anecdotes and jokes make the experience of eating there even more Sicilian.

11/08/2025: Great service, food, and excellent hospitality. We had children in our group and they were first to offer WiFi with password when the children were getting a little antsy. They also offered to lower the AC when they noticed one of our guests getting cold. Little things like this shows their attentiveness to their guests. Additionally, the food was excellent and the price was reasonable for it's quality and service. Will recommend and will be returning for sure. Thank you!

12/09/2025: I stumbled upon this restaurant because a friend on the beach told me about it. I was greeted with a big smile, and that's already a great start... but I didn't imagine what I discovered. A real surprise: excellent food, expertly prepared using top-quality ingredients. The service was attentive and courteous, even thoughtful, I'd say. Kindness reigns supreme... something not always a given when dining out. Result: in the month of August alone, I returned five times... bringing other friends who thanked me for the pleasant experience. Yes, because dinner on the terrace of Osteria dei Compari... is first and foremost an experience... a way to leave stress and chaos behind and reclaim a sense of well-being that belongs to a bygone era... eating good food and spending time with others. A beautiful menu available in several languages, friendly and responsive service. My suggestion: the focaccia with porcini mushrooms and truffles 🫰
