09/06/2025: …back from my trip to Croatia!!…starting from Omilje!!…I stopped in the middle of the afternoon on Sunday 8th June!!…to take a break at this service station!!…Chef Express Gonars Nord!!…on the A4 Turin-Trieste!!…to use the toilet!!…and have something to eat at the counter!!…women's toilets!!…indecent!!…scary dirty!!…toilet paper on the floor!!…I'm even ashamed to be a woman!!…but at their house!!…I wonder!!…how do they leave the toilets!!…for the rest, a vast assortment of sweet and savoury food!!…well-ordered displays!!…and with lots of typical products!!…the prices are average!!…with other service stations!!…nothing to say!!…but then at the cash register the lady!!…surly!!…answers me rudely and scolds me!!…saying that the money goes on the plate!!…which I hadn't even seen!!…and had put on the counter!!…I also asked other people and they told me that she was rude even with them!!…what can I say!!…something and someone to improve!!…in this service area!!…Chef Express Gonars Nord!!…on the A4 Turin-Trieste!!…🙈👎🤔😞⬇️‼️

31/05/2025: When i asked about how much was a sandwich (which did not have price) the cashier just put it on the receipt without telling me the price, turns out it was 6.70€, which i would not have bought if i knew the price. Zero comunication skills!

11/03/2025: Pizza brought home. An unworthy experience. I was expecting a good pizza, but instead I and 2 friends found ourselves having to dine on a practically inedible pizza. The mozzarella had a strange smell (it seemed to have gone bad) and the fries were fried and re-cooked in the oven, so stringy. Chewy pizza dough. Never again. Not recommended Update after reply: I'm sorry that instead of worrying about delivering edible food, the owners or their representatives get lost in answers of this type. This seems like a pretty immature response to me. Honestly, I'm not interested in discrediting anyone's work, I'm not "an expert" but I've eaten pizzas in my life and for your information all three people who ate your pizza were sick until the next morning. But surely your 97 overall reviews between Google and Trip Advisor will convince us to come to your area and risk the coup de grace. Too bad, this response of yours could have been an opportunity to change the mind of a dissatisfied customer. 1 star out of 5 also for your ways

09/03/2025: Attracted by reviews and advice, two of us show up on a Sunday at 1.30pm, kindly asking for something to eat. The waitress makes us wait, the location is simple, without pretensions. Shortly afterwards he returns saying that the kitchen is closed because it requires reservation without offering any cold alternatives. It's always insignificant to turn away customers, you do it once, it stays forever. If you make a reservation on Sunday, write it down so as to save potential diners from having to make detours.

01/02/2025: Sono stati a pranzo con un caro amico. Piacevole sorpresa. Ambiente di autentica trattoria. Baccalà e seppie eccellenti, servizio attento e gentile, conto corretto. Atmosfera calda e con un piacevolissimo brusio in friulano. Ci tornerò sicuramente.

05/06/2025: Those who know Lignano know that eating well is not a given. The gastronomic offer is vast, but too often you come across places that seem designed more for passing tourists than for those who are truly looking for quality. This is precisely why Osteria Farmacia dei Sani clearly stands out: one of the few places that manages to combine authenticity, taste and hospitality in an area where approximation is often the norm. The menu is well thought out: varied and interesting, but without falling into exaggeration. A balanced selection that suggests a careful and focused cuisine, where each dish is treated with the right care. As they say: better to do a few things, but do them well. The service deserves a special mention: despite the place being full, the staff managed to find us a corner in the outdoor area, thoughtfully creating a table usually intended for the bar area. An unpredictable gesture, which demonstrates attention and the desire to welcome the customer, even in logistical difficulties. We started with a creamed cod crostini – rich, tasty and well-balanced – accompanied by a complimentary cicchetto with Pata Negra lard, of excellent quality. A surprising and generous start. I had already appreciated the adjacent cicchetteria in the past, but this experience confirmed and exceeded expectations. For main courses we chose a tuna steak and grilled calamari. Both dishes were well presented, perfectly cooked and authentic flavors. The calamari, in particular, are among the best I have tasted in recent times: tender, tasty and without excess. To accompany everything, a glass of Ribolla Gialla di Collavini, one of the Friulian wine excellences, which proved to be a winning choice. Finally, a note of merit also for the prices: honest and more than competitive, especially considering the quality of the service and the products offered. In short, I highly recommend the experience at Osteria Farmacia dei Sani: a place where you feel welcomed, pampered and, above all, where you can still eat really well in Lignano.

05/06/2025: I have already had the opportunity to eat at this place, but this time something "went bad", even too bad I would say. There were 4 of us, after eating gnocchi with hare sauce, good, we had ordered 3 portions of frico with polenta and mushrooms, here the terrible surprise, on top of the frico we discovered a grayish patina, looking closely we saw that it was mold. Pointing out the obvious situation to the staff, they tried to justify what happened by explaining the method of preparing the frico, making the situation even worse, confirming that the frico that is eaten in this place is not fresh. Now, I do not expect the frico to be fresh but not old either. In the end they apologized, but unfortunately they betrayed my trust.

22/02/2025: Living in San Daniele I have been several times and several times the way I was treated was as if I were annoying, ask politely and I answer rudely. After two years of living abroad I returned for a short break, cappuccino and coffee nothing special... and as usual the response was I was trying to close and one of the employees had gone to hide so as not to speak to us. It doesn't matter but they complain a lot about San Daniele and the money and the economy, when they have customers in order to close they don't even take you into account... In fact they make you understand that they don't give a damn about making money. Just care... I won't go back there for sure, there are other places where you can spend money without problems

17/06/2025: We were eating at Befed a few days ago... the chicken was as good as ever and also the sandwiches... but the waiters' service really leaves you speechless... talking to the waitress who tells us to go to that table over there pointing at it, another waiter arrives and starts the interrogation... like why are you sitting down... starting with a "hello" as if we were foreigners! We had to explain to him that his colleague gave us permission to sit here... we order and the food comes straight away, but the drinks come halfway through the meal... then before we'd even finished eating the waitress asked if we were finished... still having the food in her hands that we were eating as if she wanted to clear the table... but the place was quite empty! No one has yet forced us to eat quickly and not even a waitress will ever do that! You can understand why the place is quite empty and not as full as it used to be... with such lazy waiters it's obvious... we never set foot in there again anyway... even outside the place is quite neglected... years ago it was well kept... what a shame!

31/05/2025: I have been here several times for the convenience compared to parking. Service lacking care, rushed and without the slightest welcome. Today however the manager at the cashier was extremely rude, arrogant and aggressive. Personally it was the last time.

11/06/2025: We stayed one night during a MTB tour of Friuli. Rooms not very large but clean and excellent mattress. Very kind staff, place to store the bike safely. Strong point the restaurant with terrace overlooking San Daniele. We ate and drank well. We found other cyclists and many motorcyclists. Recommended 👍👍👍
