We were at the Christmas market in Lignano on Saturday evening, walked into Sapio without a reservation, and got a table for four. The staff was quick, friendly, and nice.
The food was very good,
good wine selection,
very clean restrooms,
prices were also good, so "normal."
We'd gladly go back anytime.

The staff was the epitome of kindness and professionalism. The food was incredibly good, enjoyed by our large party of young kids to seasoned grandparents. The atmosphere, the settings, and everything the eyes could see set the mood to both have a great time, but also be charmed with a memorable experience.

We've been coming to this restaurant quite often, especially in November, so we can't really comment on waiting times, etc. We're absolutely delighted with the food (simply delicious).
The service is also extremely friendly and very efficient. We were pleasantly surprised by the renovations; the open kitchen, in particular, looks fantastic. It's a truly highly recommended restaurant.

We ate at the restaurant this evening – beautiful ambiance, friendly and attentive staff, who speak very good English and even quite good German.
The food was perfect for us – there's a huge selection, making it difficult to decide, so we'll just go there more often.

The visit to Sapio was truly disappointing.
We ordered a pizza diavola and lasagna – a very basic selection. The pizza was far below any Italian standard: not crispy, bland dough, and the cheapest salami you can imagine. As for the lasagna, it was simply flavorless and uninspiring.
If you’re looking for a menu turistico experience, this is definitely the place for you.
In the end, one pizza, one lasagna, two glasses of red wine, and a bottle of water cost €42.50 – you do the math.
