Very nice local operator. Great ambience and really good food. Were there to celebrate my loved one's birthday. And it was the most beautiful evening of our short vacation in Lignano. Perfect service, friendly people and the food, as already mentioned, TOP… What I would also like to mention positively... You take your time while eating. The main course is not served immediately after the starter, but a “1/4 hour” later… At the end, my sweetheart got an extra dessert with a sparkler and a glass of really good wine for everyone, donated by Illia, the host... We will be back…

Every time we go to Lignano we stop to eat here, it's our favourite, excellent food, from fish to pizza, the staff is very friendly and the prices are honest. I advise

Cercavo una pizzeria nella zona pedonale di Sabbiadoro e ho scelto questa, basandomi sul primo impatto. Il locale ha un aspetto elegante, e si fa notare rispetto alle altre numerose pizzerie presenti nella via. Devo dire che la qualità della pizza era all'altezza della situazione: abbondante, ma leggera e preparata con ottimi ingredienti. Servizio rapido ed efficiente, anche considerato l'affollamento. Il ristorante propone anche piatti di pesce, e i prezzi sono in linea con gli altri locali della zona. Da consigliare.

COME ESSERE A CASA CON L’ATMOSFERA DELLA VACANZA. Così riassumerei l’esperienza da Roj’z. Tutto top. A partite dall’educazione e positività in cui vieni accolto, per proseguire con il cibo (siamo stati più volte…provato sia pizza che menu ristorante) e per finire con il rapporto prezzo/qualità/ servizio degno del massimo punteggio. TUTTO TOP. Ps. amatriciana “da gara”!

Ristorante Rueda Gaucha

03/04/2024: We were there on Easter Sunday and only discovered the restaurant by chance. Despite the low season, there was a notice on the door saying "The restaurant is full". It can't be that bad then. We tried it anyway without a reservation because we didn't want to keep looking in the rain. Restaurant was actually full, mostly Italians and a few Austrians. Nevertheless, the owner was able to get a table ready for us after a few minutes. Already the first positive experience. Until then, we enjoyed a gin and tonic at the bar. The menu is not very large in terms of both selection and format. The most important thing: three T-bone steaks of different origins for 8EUR/100g, which I don't think is exorbitant. You can choose bottled wine directly from the shelf, which I think is very good; I always prefer the tactile experience of a bottle to a wine list. Prices around 30-40EUR. The next positive experience. When I was choosing the wine, I discovered the highlight: the steaks (and fish) are prepared on an open fire. The only point of criticism: the side vegetables came a little too early and were therefore only lukewarm when the steak arrived. There was a large selection of desserts, tiramisu is always good and the crème brûlée came to the table scorching, espresso was excellent as it is almost everywhere in Italy. The conclusion was a nice chat with the boss (thanks again for the cake and grappa!) What can I say, completely satisfied and I wish we had discovered the place earlier. In summer I would definitely recommend booking a few days in advance.

Bar della Stazione di Chiusaforte

04/01/2024: When I ride the cycle path, I stop here every now and then to have a drink or lunch. The food is good and the staff friendly and welcoming. It seems like a great idea to have transformed the old station into a bar restaurant. You will find a place on the grass and long chairs to relax and, if you want to read, there is also a library.
12/10/2023: Enviable position along the cycle route, kind, smiling and helpful staff despite the massive presence of a school group and a group of Austrian cycle tourists and.....stratospheric sandwich with smoked salami! Absolutely to return.
