A place where Udine seems to return to its roots. Away from the chaotic city life, the atmosphere offers a welcome escape from the social complexities, with the pleasant sound of running water outside and the comfortable, friendly service of the staff inside. The food is carefully selected, and the menu is modest in choice but extremely high in quality. And I really appreciate that. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

In my opinion, this is a very nice place. The staff was very kind in accommodating me for a last-minute reservation for a large table. The service was quick and attentive. The food was good. Thanks again for a lovely evening.

We went for a business dinner, over 20 people. The ordering process was a bit chaotic, but the food was very good and served piping hot, as it should be. A lovely restaurant with exposed stone walls. I recommend it. NF

02/05/2026: L'Alimentare is one of those places I always enjoy returning to. Refined dishes and top-quality ingredients, all accompanied by attentive, courteous, and welcoming service. The wine selection is also excellent, perfectly crafted to complement the menu. A place where you eat well and truly feel at home. Highly recommended.
25/03/2026: A charming little restaurant in the center of Udine. Very natural dishes and freshly sliced ​​cold cuts. Prices are moderate. There aren't many tables, so reservations are recommended.

30/03/2025: Il servizio è veramente curatissimo, il personale è sempre attento a ciò che succede in sala. La carta dei vini, chiaramente mono cantina, copre qualunque esigenza ad un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. L'atmosfera è cala, entrando si ha la sensazione di stanzone sovraffollato, ma in realtà i tavoli, essendo ben distanziati, permettono di godere pienamente il momento di convivialità. 4 stelle è sicuramente un punteggio troppo severo, ma un risotto troppo al dente e un toc in braide "disorientante" nella sua modernità (se le aspettative sono una colata di burro e formaggio, la spumina light, che toglie anche la cremosità, lascia un po' di delusione), non sono da 5. Il conto è corretto e diventa basso se si abbinano bottiglie importanti.
26/01/2025: Locale molto carino ed elegante, personale accogliente e professionale. Ottimi i piatti della tradizione friulana e non solo. La ribolla è speciale, ma la scelta di vini è vasta, e la qualità è alta.
