20/10/2025: Linguine alle vongole was okay, but unfortunately very bland, and there were plenty of empty vongole. Tuna tartar with pineapple and "a hint of mint." Fresh tuna, pineapple as well, no mint, no spice, very unloving (at the neighboring table, this appetizer was decorated with mint and three capers). The only thing that was great was the view.

05/10/2025: Nice view but horrible food with high prices. I don't recommend this place to eat in Taormina!

13/07/2025: A long-standing dairy bar on a busy street, its clientele includes residents of the many surrounding buildings as well as passers-by (often on business) who choose Bar Manu as a place to stop. The manager, Manuela, is very helpful, and offers a good selection of sweet and savory treats, as well as drinks. The place is quite small inside, with a few seats outside, often occupied by retired residents.

13/08/2025: Excellent pizza, available for eat-in or takeout. Very friendly staff and an excellent pizza chef who generously topped the pizzas. Good value for money. We'll be back!

31/07/2025: I sometimes get takeout pizza from this place on weekends. Overall, I consider it a good place: the pizza, which is slightly higher than other pizzerias, is quite good. They're also always punctual: in a year of orders, they were only late once (by just a quarter of an hour), and they even corrected the slight delay, notifying you immediately. So, if you're in the area, you can stop by and enjoy a good pizza.

24/10/2025: The Oltre menu had some great dishes, especially the pasta dishes, which were very good. The venison fillet was okay, but the mushrooms were unfortunately lacking in flavor. The cannolo was a bit too salty. I thought the pan brioche was very good. The cocktails were great! Friendly service, but sometimes a bit impatient when clearing plates. They also didn't ask if we wanted any more drinks. We liked the decor, including the toolboxes. Overall, a good experience with room for improvement.

18/10/2025: If ever there was a case of style over substance. It’s a good-looking space — but the cooking falls miles short of the cool image they’re going for. The pumpkin starter was bland, the tortellini in capon broth merely fine (and this is Bologna — “fine” doesn’t really cut it). The real let-down was the deer secondi: overcooked, dry, and paired with limp porcini and a lifeless sauce. Service matched the food — we ordered wines by the glass, finished them with our starters, and were never asked if we wanted more. In fact, we were barely asked anything. When we went to pay, we politely raised our issues but they didn’t seem to care. It’s a great looking restaurant, the wine list is interesting but the food falls flat. Skip it — Bologna has far better to offer.

05/10/2025: Historic rustic trattoria. At lunchtime, you can choose from a set menu with excellent first and second course selections.

24/09/2025: My uncle and I had a plate of tortelloni with ragù for our first course, followed by lamb ribs with a side of French fries. We finished with a coffee, and were also offered a lemon liqueur and more. Bottom line: home cooking, excellent ingredients, perfectly cooked meat, and delicious fries. My uncle and I had a delicious meal. We thoroughly enjoyed eating at this restaurant. Kudos to the management. They have clear ideas and make everyone who dines there feel good. A 10. Keep up the good work.

29/10/2025: Excellent trattoria, just as it should be! We came for lunch and ordered two first courses, an appetizer, a half liter of white wine, and a coffee. The staff are truly kind and helpful. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, with tables close together like in true trattorias of the past: a simple and convivial atmosphere. We had a great time, we'll definitely be back!

29/10/2025: Highly recommended! We stumbled upon this osteria by chance, after visiting the famous finestralla next door, and we're truly grateful for this fortunate coincidence. A typical Bolognese osteria/trattoria, serving traditional dishes at reasonable prices. We ordered an appetizer for two (mortadella with Parmesan) and a first course each (tortellini in broth and tagliatelle with ragù), a bottle of water, a half-liter of sparkling white wine, and a coffee, for a total of €63 (€31.50 per person). Truly excellent! The service was young and friendly, and the atmosphere authentic. We'll definitely be back!

03/06/2025: Here we are, the celiac family. Oh, what can I say? This was a wonderful discovery. The restaurant has a style that's somewhere between modern classic European and a touch of the East. The staff is friendly and competent. The food is exquisite, fresh, and surprising with its combination of colors and flavors. The dishes are tastefully presented, aesthetically pleasing, and also a delight to the eyes. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a bit overwhelming for me due to too much formality, but that's fine; we had a great time anyway. We'll definitely be back. Must try, highly recommended.

31/05/2025: I can't understand how you can propose a restaurant without a vegetarian menu... how can you reduce oriental cuisine to an endless list of insipid dishes all based on meat... is that all??? Really?? Send the chef to school.... Moreover, this policy is truly masochistic because every time there are people in the company who don't want to eat meat, the whole company will go to eat somewhere else.

27/02/2025: Only one person serves all the tables; we waited over an hour and a half for the platter, not to mention anything else. And it's a shame because, apart from the very limited menu, I have to say the food was good, but given the wait times, I wouldn't go back.

13/10/2025: Family-run restaurant/pizzeria in the heart of Bolognina (mother in the kitchen, father at the counter, and two sons in the pizza oven). Unique dough: the pizza is baked fragrant from the inside out (usually, in almost all pizzerias, I find the pizzas extremely soft in the center, so soft that I can't even distinguish the dough from the toppings) and topped with good-quality ingredients. If you want to branch out on the restaurant front, I recommend the spaghetti carbonara: delicious!!! The place is very cute and welcoming, the atmosphere truly family-friendly, and all the staff are very kind without being intrusive. I also really appreciate that all the customers who frequent this restaurant usually speak at a very low volume...

22/06/2025: Wonderful simple food served by warm and welcoming hosts. Really good menu selections, including a very large pizza menu, plus both sea and land main dishes, pastas, and a small but delicious sweets selection (rum cake especially!).

23/09/2025: You'd never guess a place like this was practically downtown. We ate well, but the desserts were truly overpriced.

17/09/2025: A truly unique bistro! The setting is stunning, with a charming and colorful atmosphere that makes every moment special. The staff is extremely helpful, always smiling and attentive to every need. The food is excellent, with attention to detail and prepared with quality ingredients. A perfect place for both a dinner with friends and a romantic evening. Highly recommended!

02/04/2025: Ottima cucina tradizionale con alcune sfiziosità aggiuntive (sfogliare il menù, disponibile sul sito, è un piacere); resta solo l'imbarazzo di cosa scegliere. C'ero stato un anno fa e il ritorno è stata una conferma della qualità e della cortesia che avevo trovato allora. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è piuttosto interessante. Certamente consigliato sia per una sosta breve sia per un pranzo o cena completo. É opportuno prenotare altrimenti si rischia di non trovare posto.

04/09/2025: For me, the best. The delivery service is always impeccable, the dishes always arrive piping hot and perfectly executed. I also really appreciate the fact that they often add new items to the menu. Highly recommended.
