I migliori ristoranti in Bologna

29/11/2025: I couldn't rate it because they didn't accept my reservation, even though there were rooms available and the cost was within my budget. They probably didn't appreciate my appearance. Unfortunately for them, clothes don't make the man.

25/11/2025: A majestic grand hotel in the very center of historic Bologna. We spent our honeymoon in this gem, and have been treated wonderfully by the hotel and its staff. The hotel is a museum in itself, with its hidden Roman road, the frescoes and the Christmas decoration they just started setting up. The rooms are 'old school' majestic, but the bathrooms are fully modern equipped. The concierge was able to recommend us several nice restaurants, and also were able to arrange an exceptional room-visit doctor! We had dinner in their fine-dining restaurant in which we were able to gaze upon the beautiful fresco at the ceiling. We loved their 'clair obscur' bean pasta dish, inspired by Italian masters. The breakfast was great, but above all their high-quality cappuccino was the best morning treatment to start our day in historic and foodie-heaven Bologna. Thank you!

25/06/2025: Ice cream for those who are satisfied

15/05/2025: I was invited to dinner in the area and I didn't know this ice cream shop because I'm from out of town. I had read the reviews where they say that they add 250g of extra ice cream that they then charge even if you don't ask for, so wanting a kilo of ice cream I asked for the 750 tub. More than anything, they didn't ask me if it was okay or not and I found out when I paid because the price wasn't appropriate. I pointed it out and they asked me if I wanted them to remove it. I agree that more transparency and honesty is needed. For the ice cream itself, it's good, the only complaint is that apart from the dark one, the lactose-free offers are limited to fruit flavors only. We paid €2 for the wafers too. The biscuits included.

01/10/2025: Friendly staff. I haven't found anything quite as wow! I've been there three times and tried a few things. The cream puffs are worth leaving, but otherwise, they're okay. Overpriced.

30/11/2025: Osteria Novella is still the best, even after so many years. They always manage to maintain the highest quality: tasty fresh pasta, spectacular meat, wonderful desserts... the staff is excellent. Many compliments to Novella's sons and daughters who have run this restaurant for so many years with passion and dedication. Highly recommended!!!

26/11/2025: Given that I only give 5 stars to totally vegan establishments, I really like this place: the early 20th-century decor, the atmosphere, the kindness of the girls at the counter, and of course the excellent vegan pastries. Abillion, an international app dedicated to promoting vegan foods around the world, reposted my post about your brioche with cream!

15/08/2025: Il posto ideale per osservare lo struscio lungo la pedonale Corso del Popolo, sorseggiando un caffè o una bevanda fresca (noi abbiamo provato gli ottimi frullati energetici). C'è un'ampia sala interna ma quando la bella stagione lo permette, l'ideale è accomodarsi a uno dei tavoli posizionati direttamente sulla strada. La peculiarità di questo locale è quella di offrire, accanto alle bevande tradizionali, altre specialità che i clienti possono scegliere leggendo direttamente la lista accanto alle porte del locale. Un modo pratico per evitare menù ai tavoli e far conoscere le specialità della casa.
