I was disappointed. They make you order without a menu, even though they have one, they didn't bring it to us, we saw it at the end of the evening... with dizzying prices. This isn't how it's done: two starters and two side dishes, a small carafe of wine, and a water, 83 euros. They're completely crazy (luckily we didn't order the meat, otherwise we'd have had to leave the car).

Lots of great food, especially the meat, which is exceptional. The grill man is incredibly experienced and can give excellent advice.

To appreciate this old-fashioned trattoria, you have to ignore the infernal road you have to walk to get there and the unadorned rooms with unsightly paintings on the walls. If you ignore these aspects, you'll be rewarded with simple, rustic yet well-cooked and plentiful food, friendly and efficient staff, a friendly atmosphere, and a splendid view. And last but not least, a 60-kg dog, delicious and playful.

I had been to this place on the hills of Castel San Pietro about 15 years ago. The food is always excellent, but the surprise was the final bill. The price doesn't justify the choice of location, which, alas, has lost its charm! It's become too "radical chic" and now "mainstream"!

02/08/2025: Excellent bowl. Good ingredients, welcoming and refined atmosphere. Recommended.
11/07/2025: I ordered from their website, but there was a small technical glitch. I brought it to their attention, and they were very kind, sending me my order right away, along with a complimentary drink and sauce. The poke was very good, with excellent quality ingredients.

20/05/2026: Fantastic. Very traditional, mouth-watering flavors and ingredients, moderately priced. The best in Bologna and its province.
13/05/2026: Just one thing to say! Mutton!! A traditional restaurant that stands out for its mutton and arrosticini. Traditional first and second courses are also available, and prices are average.
