The service is exceptional and fast. The food is high-quality, with a wide selection of even sophisticated dishes. Highly recommended.

19/01/2026: Very rustic place on the outside, warm and welcoming inside. Delicious appetizers and excellent first courses. The second courses are very tasty and, of course, everything is topped with excellent mushrooms and truffles. The staff is pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Excellent wine list. Very reasonable prices. Will try again soon. Kudos to all the staff.

27/12/2025: We had dinner for two on a Tuesday evening. We arrived early at 7:30, there were not many people, and the table was ready because we had booked. The menu was rich and traditional, with a wide selection of fish. We had the octopus salad to share (luckily, because it was a nice portion for an appetizer), then gnocchi and mixed mutton. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. I didn't give the atmosphere 5 stars because when it started to fill up, it got a bit noisy, but that's okay. It's a Romagna-style osteria; it would be the opposite if it were all quiet. But sometimes it can be annoying. Next time, I'll go earlier.

When we're in Casalecchio from Imola, it's become our go-to pizzeria. They also offer certified gluten-free options. The pizza is excellent, and they usually have pizzas off the menu as well. Truly delicious and easy to digest! Congratulations.

29/08/2025: I ate a genuine piadina romagnola, freshly prepared and cooked to order. Unfortunately, many kiosks in the area use packaged products, which is a bad sign for this land where good food is sacred. The piadina is PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) and incredibly good.

30/12/2025: Just steps from the center of Bologna, you'll find yourself immersed in a small culinary theater, where every corner has its own charm. The service is impeccable. The table service's knowledge and attention to detail about wine and dishes is truly remarkable, as is the kindness. The "sharing" appetizer is incredible, offering a delightful journey of flavors from authentic mortadella, ricotta, and five other appetizers. The first courses are all worth trying, ranging from traditional Bolognese dishes to the innovative tagliatella. The second courses are captivating from the description, then the visual, and then gently descend to the most refined palates. The wine selection is excellent, catering to all tastes and budgets. The desserts are the perfect way to end a meal that will fill your stomach, mind, and heart. A place that deserves our full attention, where the magic of the place blends with the flavors and atmosphere of times gone by.

03/02/2026: La Romana remains a sure thing. When you're craving good gelato and want to play it safe, you can't go wrong here. Unfortunately, it can happen that you end up at "artisanal" gelato shops that disappoint. Despite being a chain, I've often found myself preferring La Romana's gelato to other artisanal gelato shops, even renowned ones. The gelato is always good, creamy, and reliable, perfect for satisfying that true gelato craving without any surprises. I also really appreciate the fact that they often offer new flavors and different options. Personal note on some flavors: the Sacher truly surprised me. Few gelato shops, even artisanal and well-known ones, manage to make it so good and dense, almost like eating a brownie or a slice of cake. Truly excellent. A safe choice, and one that continues to be worth it.

27/12/2025: The place is very nice looking, but unfortunately the first courses weren't very good, the appetizer was so-so, and they rushed us to get up from the table. They have two lunch shifts, and with 15 minutes left, they started rushing us to pay and get up from the table.

02/02/2026: We went for an aperitivo, which then turned into dinner. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice. Prices were more or less average for Bologna, with some items a little higher than average, but overall it was affordable. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos, but I can assure you the food was good. The drinks selection was good (a wide selection of beers, but they also have other options). Service was a little slow on Saturdays, but given how busy it is, that's understandable. A special mention goes to the accessibility of the place (it's wheelchair-friendly) and the bathroom, where they even provide sanitary pads!

28/01/2026: Visited on a Tuesday night right after opening. The beers we tried were all excellent and well poured. The staff was super knowledgeable and very friendly! We wish we had discovered this place before our last night in Bologna!

13/12/2025: We found this place by chance during our Lazio trip to Parma...excellent food and great service...so much so that we'll get a season ticket!!! The price was also very reasonable considering the quality of the food.

22/10/2025: If you wanna visit a good and cheap option for pizza slices without leaving aside quality. This is the place.
