19/01/2025: We had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant and were really satisfied! The cuisine is authentic, with traditional dishes prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Each course was an explosion of flavours, from the first course to the dessert. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making the experience even more pleasant. The atmosphere is warm and familiar, perfect for those looking for a place to enjoy true traditional cuisine.

30/09/2024: Since Sottomura changed management, the place has become a place to avoid. I've been here three times and something's wrong three times. The first time the place had just changed management and the guys were young people recently hired, so I apologized for the disorganization, the delays, the uninformed waiters, etc. Furthermore, I had just had a drink and in the end I had even succeeded in my aim. The second time it went the same way, with the addition of the fact that we had also ordered French fries, and these arrived at least forty minutes after we finished drinking the drinks. The last time, last night, we ordered a series of drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, including sweet soft drinks and dry soft drinks. At first, the waiter snorted and protested when faced with various but legitimate requests, to the point of forcing some of us to change the order to standardize the order and avoid the bartender having to prepare too different mixes. Then, he brought some drinks instead of others, also asking us to take them anyway instead of the ones we had ordered because otherwise they would have been wasted. Of two negronis taken, one was full, the other was halved (obviously we paid both in full). Finally, after everyone settled their bill, we were informed that the accounts didn't add up and some drinks hadn't been paid for (which wasn't true, it was clearly their mistake). In short, if on the two previous occasions we were a little disappointed but in the end we were satisfied, this time we have to write a review here also to warn any other customers. Place to avoid. I also gave 1 star to the environment because I personally find the new furniture very sloppy, but beyond this: in a bar without a dance floor, where people go to spend an evening in company to have a drink and chat , how do you think of placing a deafening DJ set just a few meters from the tables? Obviously no one was dancing (also because, I repeat, there was no space). Summary of the experience: nonsense. Especially at these prices.

27/07/2024: Certainly one of the worst meals ever. Undercooked pasta, terrible salad and half of an extremely small lobster. We complained and were ignored for 20 minutes then given 20 percent discount. Still extremely expensive for a poor meal.

08/10/2024: Sorry to review a place without practically having used the service. We booked for 12.30pm at the end of August for 6 people. We arrived at 12.45pm, even though the restaurant was less than half full, we were given a table after 10 minutes. At 1.20pm no one had brought us bread, asked for a drink or even taken our order. We asked and were told that they could serve the 2 children with us first but the 4 adults would eat around 2pm. Reluctantly we left looking for another place to eat. Too bad, the place is nice and there are also some games for children…

17/09/2024: I'm sorry to give a negative review because the place deserves it and the staff is very kind. But we waited 40 minutes (even though we had also booked) and the place was almost empty. The crostini as starters are not crostini but 2 ferrone of normal bagette The meat arrived COLD not seeing any bread we asked for it and we discovered that they didn't have it but upon request and paying they give you 2 tigelle which also arrived at the end of the meal however he tells us that he had said that the bread wasn't there, which wasn't the case also true because we would have asked immediately in case and more seriously, this absence IS NOT WRITTEN on the menu... I wonder how they consider the bread with crostini (it's only exclusively for crostini "not crostini")? Prices aren't even that low Finding this method absurd, I hope it is taken as constructive criticism because as a place it would be worth returning

25/01/2025: Simply indecent paper menu, pages smeared with food and condiments, shameful. Decent food, friendly staff but customer welcome cannot ignore decorum.

07/02/2025: ...not just a simple fish shop... you can taste fish on site, always very fresh, cooked with care, accompanied by excellent wine that Federica can best recommend. Fixed stop when I go to Scandiano.

The preparations are truly tasty, never too elaborate to best enhance each type of fish, even with appropriate and tasty combinations of vegetables; a mix of absolute quality and taste.
