Let me start by saying that I am used to Sicilian cuisine, which is much richer. My partner and I had two different starters. The polenta crostini with ragù were good, but the bruschetta was too soft. On the plate with mixed grilled meat, too much pork, not enough imagination. The right dishes. They don't recommend a good wine. The one taken in a poor glass. The guys at the tables were very polite.

Positive experience in this restaurant that smells of history. Tasting of piadinas and crescentine with cured meats, mustards, all of a good quality, fig compote worthy of note. Followed by tagliatelle with onions (good and special) and duck, green and without tomato, then balanzoni with ragù. All with an honest house Sangiovese, light and easy to drink. Sufficient wine list at average prices. To be a restaurant aimed at I imagine to the tourist, certainly beyond expectations. Honest bill, even if there was a 20% the fork promo. It can be recommended, especially for those who intend to visit the pretty art village of Dozza. The restaurant is located in the center and reachable on foot with a distance of 200 meters and even less from the car parks.

During a walk through the village of Dozza, a certain person became hungry.
And relying a bit on chance we tried this restaurant, booking with the fork at the last moment.
The restaurant is located right in front of the entrance to the fortress overlooking the village, it has a location with a slightly dated style, but clean and tidy, with a beautiful room with large windows.
It offers classic Romagna dishes with some particularities on the menu such as ostrich meat.
We tried an appetizer and two second courses.
The tigelle with cheeses, onion jam and caramelized figs are good.
The cut is a little less so, a little cold and decidedly tough despite being cooked rare. However, the idea of having the oil served separately so you can season it as you prefer is nice.
The fillet is better, nothing exciting, but nothing to criticize either.
The fried cream was good but unfortunately burnt, which alters the flavor a bit.
Which is a shame, because it would be very good.
I found the staff to be average, with no praise but no criticism either. And finally the price, suitable for what is offered.
Maybe it could be done a little better, but it's definitely worth a stop.

Every time when I come to Dozza I gladly come to have lunch here. Excellent food. Good service. I recommend appetizers and meat dishes.

The food is very delicious, the place has very beautiful views towards the Rocca castle, the staff only speaks Italian and I recommend making a reservation in advance on weekends, the dish in the photo is “Balanzoni Ricota”

While walking around Dozza, without a reservation we had lunch at Corte di Caterina, a nice place, efficient staff attentive to customer needs, a varied menu, excellent ingredients, excellent cellar, with local proposals. With a pinch of sympathy.

View directly on the Rock. Abundant dishes and I would say of excellent quality. The price is absolutely honest. The place is a little dated, but the location is excellent.
