La Locanda del Castello In Dozza

This restaurant is located opposite the Rocca di Dozza Imolese. We had good Balanzoni, lasagna, and mutton. The price was perhaps a little high for traditional dishes, but considering it was Easter Monday, it's understandable.

Being a restaurant with a spectacular view, we found a hair in the parmesan.

We had the pleasure of having lunch here and testing out the new management with my clients. It was a very pleasant surprise! The staff was young and attentive, and the dishes were delicious. We tried the Moretto artichoke, and those of us who ate meat tried the Mora Romagnola. We'll definitely be back! Don't be fooled by the old reviews, which don't belong to the new management.

In the alleys of Dozza, right next to the fortress, lies Corte di Caterina, a restaurant that received us with an exemplary welcome from the young man serving the tables. The management was also excellent; we immediately felt at home. Since we hadn't booked, they found us a table and sat us down. We ate the paccheri alla trippa, with cherry tomatoes and metuccia, with a drizzle of pecorino, delicate and exquisite. The paccheri were cooked just right al dente. The bruschetta was also very delicate, with excellent cherry tomatoes, a top-notch cream cheese, and a delicious, perfectly browned, bland bread. Bravo! Then came the rabbit in a pot, tender in its very tasty sauce, accompanied by delicious baked potatoes. What can I say? If Corte di Caterina had existed in the Middle Ages, there would have been a long line to find refreshments and try their cuisine, complemented by the restaurant's retro decor. I dined alone on a Thursday evening at this wonderful restaurant in the town of Dozza, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Fabulous restaurant, beautiful location. The owner and staff were very kind and helpful. The quality of the food was excellent, as was the quality of the meat and cured meats. I had a truly excellent tagliata. Generous portions and super fair prices. If I ever return to the area, I'll definitely be back! Recommended!

We entered and found a beautiful place with a stunning, captivating interior and view. We ordered a first course and an appetizer, both of which were delicious. The staff was extremely kind, very pleasant, and young. The only downside was the wait, because two hours had passed. Perhaps the restaurant was full or there were problems in the kitchen, who knows. Anyway, the experience was very pleasant.

Excellent and authentic food, a traditional menu with a few twists that make it truly exquisite. The manager is a young man and a great entertainer, describing the dishes in great detail, and excellent service. The location, facing the Dozza fortress, is beautiful, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Our first time at Corte di Caterina, and we had a truly wonderful time. We ate wonderfully: fried polenta with burrata cream, followed by a sliced ​​steak with tender baked potatoes, cooked to perfection. They also offered us a savory cream puff with robiola cheese, Taggiasca olives, and dried tomatoes that they were testing for the new menu: a super nice gesture and delicious. The mascarpone was excellent to finish. The owner was truly welcoming; we chatted a bit and immediately felt at ease. Plus, the restaurant is right in front of the Rocca di Dozza, so the location is also beautiful. It was our first time here, but we'll definitely be back.
