We had dinner with them one summer evening. It's a shame that the outdoor seats were finished and the table assigned to us was inside and without air conditioning, and with the month of July being 33°, it was really difficult to be able to remain seated at the table willingly. The pizza has a good dough and is well counted, the ingredients are also of good quality. The waitresses were kind and smiling, despite the place being packed, and the service was really fast. The fried foods are also very good. Too bad about the heat that made me eat and run away in record time. I suggest an air conditioner for the future.

Bar Vittorio Emanuele

12/03/2024: We stopped at Bar Vittorio Emanuele, a long-standing establishment on Piazza Maggiore and enjoyed a round of drinks recently. Location is great, service was friendly, prices reasonable and everything served was fine. Would be ok to pass by again for similar evening round again based on this experience.
28/12/2023: A really nice location for a meal or just a drink. We stopped for a light lunch and had a table right on the edge of the portico. The food was very good (prosciutto e melone, insalata), and the wait staff was on it as well. Drinks were served and nothing was missed on the order. The location is excellent to linger as well being right on Piazza Maggiore and, being a few steps up, a good view of the world passing by. Prices are a little high due to the location, but if you are making time for la dolce vita, this is a good spot.

Pizzeria Vecchia Malga

06/04/2024: Nice place to eat a very good mortadella and pasta. A place where have to eat, during visiting Bologna.
23/10/2023: If you want to try a last Napolitan pizza before leaving Italy this is your chance. These pizzas are surprisingly good because you don't expect the perfect Napolitan pizza at an airport. They have even managed to get a woodfired over in there, yes in the airport!! Friendly service and good food at a non airport price.
