13/06/2025: Late afternoon of June 2nd. There were 2 of us to have a drink. We sat at one of the tables outside on the square and, after consulting the menu, I opted for an iced tea. The waitress brought me a bottle of a different brand than the one expressly mentioned in the menu, without telling me when ordering, just to be clear. Since I had chosen that type of drink also for the brand mentioned, I opted for another drink, the one fortunately available in the assortment. After that, having become a bit hungry, I ordered a focaccia with raw ham. Well, what can I say!? Very normal ham, young and even a bit tasty for my tastes but beyond that, focaccia that actually seemed more like a loaf of Arab bread and/or pinsa, in any case certainly not a focaccia and reheated as best as possible, since you could clearly feel that it was defrosted. At the time of payment: pseudo focaccia €8.00. Now, it's not primarily about the price, but at least I would have gladly paid that amount if I had had a slightly gourmet filling, like fig jam in addition to the prosciutto with one or two walnuts and above all with real focaccia, not with defrosted bread. I'm sorry but in the land of Parma ham, I don't think such an offer is up to par. Nb Since the owner of the business has taken such pains to reply to me without obviously thinking too much about what he/she wrote, I will reply in turn because, I'm sorry but I don't accept certain things. 1) I have NOT offended anyone directly while you have offended me by writing that you are worried that I have been going to the 2nd of this month. Or why, no one in the place put up a notice? In my house it's called a mistake of lack of professionalism. Since I write things that are not true, do you think this is also true? It is no coincidence that in your out of place and inadequate response, you didn't even take this point into consideration because you know that I am telling the truth. 3) As a customer, I had that feeling and if for you that is to be considered focaccia, well, for me it is not and it is not even for the person who was with me sharing it; can I criticize, since I did not like it? And not consider it focaccia but a similar puccia elongated instead of round, without being traced of having hallucinations? And it is also expensive for what it is, believe me. As for the ham, I felt it that way, I'm sorry, even a great producer can make mistakes, remember. As for the possible accompaniment, mine was only a suggestion. Ah, when I went in to pay, it was unbearably hot and messy, instead of responding inappropriately to customers (in my case certainly ex) think about taking advantage of the criticisms and improving the quality of the offer provided.
