18/01/2025: Good morning. BAR FIAT is in via Kennedy in Reggio nell'Emilia near a tobacconist. It is a very well known BAR run by (ITALIANS) I am not writing this to discriminate against anyone, it closes on Saturday afternoon/Sunday. The owners are 2 super fantastic guys Giulio/Cristian assisted by a nice bubbly very good girl PAMELA. They have excellent breakfasts but also first courses with drinks for lunch. Liqueurs with our Lambrusco but also other brands. It is very popular with friendly, cheerful customers. There is an expanse and a toilet that is always tidy even for disabled people. The Fiat Bar is located with other businesses within a few hundred meters of an electrician, the Castagnoli bakery, a petrol station with the Kennedy shopping center with Self Service, and if desired there is also room for passing campers/caravans (there are no services short stop only) not far from the Reggio Nell'Emilia motorway toll booth and from Via Emilia for people who want to stop and rest. And then there is the CAU (assistance and emergency center open 24 hours a day) which was a wonderful idea as these CAUs help our S. Maria e Provincia Hospital a lot to lighten the flow of those in need of health. YOU MUST CALL TO BOOK 24/7 THEY WILL TELL YOU WHAT TIME TO SHOW UP WITHOUT GOING TO THE HOSPITAL IF IT IS NOT A TRUE EMERGENCY (TEL./ O522 290001) THE HEALTH PROFESSIONAL ANSWERS 24/7 AND WILL ADDRESS YOU TO THE NEAREST....CAU. The Emilia Romagna Region is the only one to have CAU centres.....it's a shame it should be extended throughout Italy including the islands. Returning to the FIAT BAR, take a tour, you will be satisfied....and you will certainly return.

10/05/2025: I went to the Is Molas Golf Club, at the resort bar, and the experience was really pleasant. The place is spacious and well looked after, we sat on the very comfortable sofas and relaxed while enjoying an excellent coffee accompanied by biscuits. The staff was friendly and courteous. The panoramic view of the golf course is simply breathtaking, a perfect place for a peaceful break surrounded by nature. Advised!

15/05/2025: A really nice surprise I stopped by chance. I ate an excellent savory focaccia. All the products are prepared by the staff. Super price in line. Excellent service.

25/04/2025: A beautiful bar from the past, excellent for a lunch stop, better equipped than a bar in the centre. Everything is well stocked and the staff are very friendly and kind. And if you stop in the evening for an aperitif you can have a chat with customers and the owner. Pleasant people, things that are now rare.

29/03/2025: Categoria: Ristorante Italiano Trovato per: Guida Slow Food Piccola osteria che si affaccia su un canale del porto di Cattolica, in un edificio dalle mura blu, con un po’ di tavolini all’esterno. Scelto seguendo la guida Slow Food, che di solito seguo sia per gite fuori porta mirate in ristoranti chiocciolati e col simbolo della bottiglia (cantina di livello) sia quando sono in viaggio nella speranza di evitare posti turistici. L’apparenza è molto semplice, sia la tavola sia il locale nel suo complesso. Il servizio è semplice e cordiale, un pochino lento anche in considerazione del fatto che il ristorante era pieno a metà. I piatti proposti, di pesce, sono semplici ma ben eseguiti: cozze e vongole alla marinara saporite e di buona qualità però un po’ troppo condite, cannelloni di pesce molto delicati, spaghetti alle vongole (molto piccole) nella media ma ben mantecati, fritto misto buono e non unto. Semplici ma buoni anche i tagliolini al sugo rosso di vongole e gli spiedini di gamberi gratinati. Carta dei vini non pervenuta, nel senso che sono proposte 4/5 etichette di bianco e altrettante di rosso, tutte di fascia bassa. Conto comunque corretto per quanto consumato, dovessi ripassare di qui prenderei sicuramente in considerazione di tornare.

08/06/2025: We were warmly welcomed by the owner who has such a well-furnished and well-organized place. The restaurant is located in a charming village surrounded by greenery and the Apennine hills. From the appetizer to the main courses, genuine and tasty.

20/05/2025: Very bad experience as the last day of a city trip Arrogant head waiter who does not know his job Every time a plate was empty (6a7 times) it was immediately grabbed from the table. I ordered a bistec al pepe verde which was not worthy of this naan. The baking method was not asked. When I got it I understood why. This shoe with a piece of bone could not be baked seignant. This restaurant was a real disappointment compared to all the others. We were clearly not welcome here.
