14/03/2025: I went to this restaurant on a Monday for lunch. I immediately felt welcomed in a friendly way by the owner of an exquisite kindness. Fast service and typical dishes of the area very welcome. The environment is welcoming and clean. Price in the norm. I highly recommend.

09/03/2025: Sonia is back!!! He opened this delightful little place just before the pandemic. The lockdown, with all the problems it had brought with it, had forced her to hand over the business to other people, not as capable. Last December he took over the restaurant again, quickly bringing it back to its former glory. Simple but delicious dishes, impeccable service, neat and clean environment, excellent value for money. After the entree offered by the house, we tasted the mixed crostini, the chickpea hummus, the passatelli with vegetables, the ravioli with dried tomatoes and smoked provola. All very good. Next time we will try other specialties. Highly recommended place. Welcome back Sonia 🥰

25/03/2025: That fantastic Thursday is over the years and in all seasons a confirmation of excellent catering and quality. The menu is always adequate, varied enough and is renewed from time to time. The staff is very kind, respectful and worthy. The environment is elegant and refined, but also very hospitable and welcoming. In short, a mix of refinement, luxury and humility...very rare and effective. Very honest prices, considering that for many imitations you pay even 20/30% more in the city.

24/03/2025: We had lunch with the family taking advantage of our visit to Ferrara. As usual, for the choice of restaurants we rely on the Michelin guide, but this time with this restaurant I don't think it has reached the standard of a restaurant in the Michelin guide that we usually find in the places we go. The girl who caught and served us is really good and kind, while the same is not true for the older lady who I assume is either the owner or in any case in charge of the room. In fact, apart from the joke about having ordered a few dishes (unfortunately my mother has undergone stomach surgery so she can't eat too much and for this reason, even though there were 4 of us, we ordered for 3, but in any case I'm a paying customer so the reason for my choices shouldn't matter), at a certain point during the change of tables of two couples I noticed with regret that to bring the dishes he placed everything on the sofa at the entrance to the restaurant, where people constantly pass by and you can also sit there, so not much hygienic considering that the diners will then carry those cutlery into their mouths. Furthermore, one of these couples was told to bring their jacket into the closet, which we are not here either, firstly because it is a service that you as manager of the place should do and secondly because on the other hand in that closet there are everyone's overcoats, and it is not certain that the lady who was given authorization to wander around inside the closet was an honest person or could rummage through other people's jackets and bags. Moving on to the food, if they focused more on tradition they could even get to the Michelin star, everything we ordered, including desserts, traditional was really excellent, while the passatelli asciutti were really bland and above all they had exceeded the cooking time by a long time, while the passatello must maintain a certain consistency otherwise the yield of such a simple and peasant dish but also delicious at the same time would be ruined. Another point to bring to attention is the selection of focaccias and breads to be consumed while waiting or together with the dishes, usually in restaurants a much more refined selection is offered and above all the breads and gnocchi are not so reheated but always have the consistency and flavor of freshly baked bread or in any case made that same morning. For the choice of wines, well, what can I say, isn't there a sommelier in the room? Because the girl, as cute as she was, wasn't able to tell us exactly what to pair with the dishes, but I don't think it was her fault, someone should take care of the drinking part and accompany the customer in learning about the wine he's pairing with the dish. In short, after various experiences in Michelin guide restaurants I wonder why this place appears, it is truly excellent as a tavern but not enough to deserve the attention of such a selection.

20/03/2025: One of the best butchers in the region also becomes a restaurant at mealtimes. An excellent selection of meats that combines with excellent cuisine and is completed with a wise and vast selection of wines. The service is that of a high-class restaurant and at the same time friendly and warm. A place like few others.

Quell’incontro mi ha incuriosito finalmente oggi sono riuscita a coronare il mio desiderio, provare la sua cucina. Che dire, il carattere della signora Giovanna si ritrovano nei suoi piatti, un misto di dolcezza e decisione, sapori complessi, mai banali. Nessun piatto assaggiato oggi mi ha deluso, tutto davvero eccellente. Il tutto. Ordinato da un servizio impeccabile, cortese e professionale. Altra cosa che ho apprezzato molto, la tranquillità del locale, con spazio tra un tavolo e l’altro e il tempo del servizio dei piatti. Ci rivedremo sicuramente, a presto Signora Giovanna

19/12/2024: Serata fantastica. Era la prima volta che andavo in questo locale e ho mangiato divinamente. Qualità delle materie prime eccellente. Abilità sopraffina dello chef nella preparazione dei piatti Ho scelto i meedaglioni di maialino con salsa di mele campanine e purè di sedano rapa. Squisiti.

04/03/2025: I was looking for a restaurant with a nice location and good food to celebrate a birthday as a couple. I came across GB, which I had read fantastic reviews about. I must say that expectations were even exceeded! Very kind staff (they also brought me the table bag hook) and very efficient organization also when booking. By the way they have a small car park available. Very beautiful place, refined and with attention to every detail (I didn't see a plant with a dry leaf!). I think it's great to be able to have dinner on the beach in the summer. Excellent food. We ate fish, and it was very fresh. All of excellent quality. Not a small detail: open kitchen. Congratulations indeed!

04/03/2025: A pleasant discovery! We chose this restaurant on the recommendation of our hotel and were thrilled with it. Attentive, friendly and always available staff. Simple reservation and well-structured menu: rich but without excess, with high quality raw materials and really interesting dishes. The passatelli with squid ink were a true masterpiece, as was the final tray of sweets and biscuits, simply delicious. Prices not for all budgets, but fully justified by the excellent quality and impeccable service. Having lunch with a sea view was the perfect touch.

24/03/2025: Trattoria in the immediate Parma countryside I would like to point out that, overall, it was one of the best and rare experiences that I would gladly repeat, even soon, among the trattorias of Parma/Piacenza and provinces. Excellent welcome received in a warm atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed, at ease. Very courteous, professional service and available to give explanations and information. Food well cared for in presentation, quality and preparation. The proposals are also linked to the territory, to tradition with some appreciable touches of "unusual" The dining rooms and the preparation of the tables keep the promises of the first impressions: simplicity and elegance. The bill reflects the total unit costs of the dishes and wines ordered, not entirely "cheap", but without unpleasant surprises. I will return

The dishes were also something very special, I'm sure you won't get something like that twice. We'll definitely be back. The service was very courteous and spoke very good English. 16/02/2025: Abbiamo mangiato in questo locale dopo una gita a Castell’Arquato. Locale ben curato, dotato di parcheggio e al di fuori del borgo. Abbiamo optato per due fuori menu di antipasto e primo: buonissimi. Ottime anche la giardiniera e l’insalata russa. Sicuramente ci torneremo.

16/01/2025: Storica trattoria che ha mantenuto negli anni uno standard qualitativo molto elevato. Frequentavo questo luogo già sessant'anni orsono con mio padre e non sono mai rimasto deluso. Salumi eccellenti, saporiti e stagionati al punto giusto, primi piatti della tradizione ottimi così come i secondi. Cantina ben fornita con ricarichi corretti e conto onesto. L'unico appunto riguarda il servizio che pur molto cortese non è stato celere, almeno in questo caso, ma era un sabato sera col locale pieno. Concludo dicendo che il ristorante a mio avviso è vivamente consigliabile non ve ne pentirete
