It was filled with blueberry jam and shaped exactly like a Japanese anko donut. I was recommended it by someone at a shop I happened to wander into, and it was my first time trying it. It was incredibly delicious. I looked it up and it seems to be a pastry called Bombolone, but I'm not sure if that's correct. Thank you for the amazing taste and wonderful experience.

La Torteria_laboratorio artigianale is one of those places that makes you feel right at home. Every dessert is a treat for the eyes and the palate... if you're in Modena, you can't miss stopping by to say hello to the wonderful Michela and try one of her fabulous tortelli di crema (in my opinion, they're fantastic). Highly recommended!!!

I have to compliment Alessandra on the delicious pastries! Our favorites are the pineapple and berry Swedish pastries, but the other day I discovered the cream bombolone...indescribable! The amaretti are also delicious!! Thanks also to whoever introduced me to it...it'll be my favorite place for breakfast when I'm in Modena!!

I've had the best cakes ever here, i went to this shop when i was just walking around in modena but ever since I've tried their cakes that's the only thing i crave and the only reason i go to modenaaa.

Alessandra and her staff are exceptional; the cakes are by far the best in Modena. I highly recommend the cheesecake and lemon cake!

10/04/2026: I had lunch on a weekday with my family... despite the extremely high level in every area, be it the atmosphere, the service, and last but not least the food, the feeling we all perceived was of great attention both to our needs, I am celiac and vegetarian, and the very friendly atmosphere that made us feel at ease... almost as if we were at home.... At the end of the lunch, Massimo Bottura lingered to exchange a few words with each table, a man of great culture and humility, a real experience... and as a waiter asked me just before leaving... Did you have fun, ma'am? A lot, definitely worth repeating 🤍
06/04/2026: The last ice cream you eat before drinking your coffee is "a potato that was supposed to be a truffle": what better ending to a menu titled "misery and nobility"? For me, these ice creams alone are worth the expense, but the fact is, there's so much more! Osteria Francescana is a concept that goes far beyond just the cuisine; I have the impression that the hospitality also develops around the menu, making it a well-rounded experience. The food is clearly the focal point of what you're experiencing, but in front of us are people who aren't just waiters; it feels like we're at a theater, and you, a simple diner, are also the protagonist of the play.
