24/02/2026: The ambiance is retro yet modern. The staff is extremely friendly and meticulously introduces the various dishes. Speaking of which: the quality and craftsmanship are excellent, and they're also suitable for vegetarians. Certainly commendable.

14/01/2026: Family-friendly atmosphere, small and comfortable. I recommend booking in advance. Seasonal menu and great traditional dishes, such as the pumpkin cappellacci. Homemade pasta. Good selection of wines to pair with the meat dishes. Attentive service and friendly service guaranteed.

24/08/2025: Amazing pizza. Tried 3 different pies and a saltimbocca I think it's called and every single one was so delicious, so well balanced, and just such an experience. The pizzaiolo here KNOWS what he's doing. He knows how to satisfy your salty, sweet, crunchy, soft, bitter, sour, umami, and creamy craving in 1 bite. Highly recommend it here. Pizza does not take long to make and cook, less than 10 minutes, and he was kind enough to give my husband and I a pie that was half 1 pizza and half another that we were undecided about. Very friendly chef.

11/10/2025: We stopped for a coffee as soon as we arrived from Florence, and then the car wouldn't start again... the owner Erica mobilized everyone to help us... family... customers... they helped and supported us with incredible kindness and helpfulness... in the end we got it sorted 😅 What can I say, despite our misfortune, we had the pleasure of meeting fantastic people who run a place with passion and love where you feel at home. 15/11/2025: I'd like to point out that this review isn't about the products on sale (all excellent), but rather the service. I've been a customer for several years, and when I buy, I never spend less than €25-30 per bottle. About a year ago, while attending a special dinner, I bought two bottles for around €100 each. At the cashier, I asked for a "gift box" to give them to the host; I was given the classic two-bottle burgundy cardboard box with the "La Cantina di Calderoni" logo (see attached photo). The next day, I accidentally checked my receipt and saw that I had been charged two euros for the "gift box." Of course, I've bought more bottles many times, but either because it was one bottle, or because there were four or five (which required a previously used case from which the bottles had been removed), I've never had the "gift box" before. Today, I bought the two bottles in the attached receipt for a total of €62; When I went to the register, the guy asked me if I wanted the "gift box." I—since I was walking the dog—answered that anything with a "handle" would do. The guy put the bottles in the usual cardboard box for two, charged me without saying anything else, and I said goodbye and left. He checked the receipt and agreed to the €2.50 "gift box." Since I consider myself a customer (perhaps even a "good" customer) of the business and because I thought this was constructive criticism (good advice, in short) for them, I went back inside and politely told the guy that if you buy two bottles for thirty euros each, it would be nice for the customer to have this blessed "gift box" included (not to mention the bottles I bought a year ago for around one hundred euros each!). The guy told me that the price of the box was posted; I try to make him understand that it's not a question of money but of business aptitude, and that the box also bears his logo, thus also a way to advertise to the recipients of the wines (if it hadn't had a logo, it would have been a different matter, though not that different). The boy doesn't hear us, and another woman (I assume his mother) also says to me, "We pay a thousand euros! If you want the stuff, you pay! We're not giving anything away!" WE'RE GIVING ANYTHING AWAY? I had just bought two bottles for thirty euros each! The tone wasn't that of a salesman being "advised" by a customer to avoid making such a fool of himself, but rather of someone unwilling to engage in dialogue and uninterested in even putting on a good face in a bad situation. I try once again to explain the point of my criticism, but—as they say—there's none so deaf as he who won't hear. After a few minutes of feeling out of place or having made a mistake, I inform the owners that, in addition to having made a terrible impression, they've also lost a customer like me, and with me, a good portion of my group, over whom I have a good influence. They say goodbye by shouting, "That's the door, goodbye." Are these supposed to be shopkeepers? The above is to show you that if you're not in a hurry in Ravenna, you can find the same products sold by more polite, friendly, and intelligent people (who therefore don't rudely chase away customers), even if it means paying a few euros more.

07/04/2026: Old-fashioned trattoria, excellent tagliatelle with ragù and roast rabbit and guinea fowl...if you want to travel back in time and taste grandma's cooking, stop by...good quality wine cellar!!!

01/04/2026: We came here on the recommendation of friends and actually had an excellent first course (tagliatelle with meat sauce) and a good second course with side dish. The place is traditional but clean and welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the service is fast. If you're looking for traditional cuisine, you'll be satisfied here.

11/04/2026: A spacious place suitable for groups, with an excellent selection of beers, very good pizza, and decent burgers (I recommend the Dallas). There were six of us for dinner and we chose a 3-liter Chouffe beer to accompany it. Generally quick service and fair prices for Riccione. Recommended for a casual dinner with friends. Negative note: no gluten-free options, an area for improvement for those with specific dietary needs.

02/04/2026: I had a 3-night stay at this hotel, and it was truly charming with its vintage interior. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide and satisfying selection. The hotel is not really located in the city center, but it’s about a 12-minute walk, but it’s a good option for those who prefer staying close to the train station. Also, the balconies seem to be overlooked and not well prepared or utilized. And the room lighting could be improved by adding more adjustable options. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay 👍🏼

01/04/2026: The Royal Hotel Carlton boasts a very central location – everything is easily reachable on foot within a maximum of 20 minutes. The hotel itself is very attractive, exudes luxury, and offers excellent value for money. A monitored underground parking space is available for an additional fee, which is particularly convenient. Furthermore, the hotel is located outside the ZTL zone, making arrival by car significantly easier. Overall, a highly recommended hotel!
