19/05/2025: excellent food, a bit noisy environment, not luxurious but decent and clean

04/05/2025: Welcome to Locanda La Pioppa, between Via Emilia and the West, a few steps from the motorway and the unrivaled craftsmanship of the Truck Driver Monument. An oasis for robust stomachs and tired souls, where time has stopped, probably to have a sambuca. Proudly preserved 90s interiors and zoological-hallucinogenic wallpaper with intellectual raccoons, mystical birds and assorted mammals. Friendly and welcoming staff. We ate well. Super generous dishes, perhaps a little too tasty: 1 plate of Fantasia di Mare scialatielli (and oil), peppered mussels (which are actually Taranto-style mussels), 1 portion of grilled vegetables and 1 bottle of water. Cost: 41.50. An honest amount for a hearty meal and a digestion that will end in a few weeks but the atmosphere is so irresistible that we will be back!

10/05/2025: Very old tavern for the "biasanôt" (night owls) of Bologna. Jazz, a soft and cheerful atmosphere at the same time. Very 70s/80s style.

05/03/2025: It was .. interesting experience. We sat with the expectation for like a restaurant, but it was more like a local pub. For food very narrow options, the menu is the man in the bar, which is very friendly. Not bad for beers and some games.

22/05/2025: Great for a quick and healthy lunch break. The price is reasonable and there is also the option of take-out. If you consider how much fruit and vegetables cost, the preparation time and cleanup, it is more convenient than cooking at home!

Owner very kind and generous with good advice on wines and dishes. All accompanied by background music which then turned into a dance party after dinner since we all always willingly dance whenever the opportunity arises Rich and varied aperitif followed by dinner based on very good and tastefully cooked fish... Too bad it's not in our usual trajectories but from now on it will be

06/07/2025: Spartan place located inside the DLF park where the pizza is served by the slice, very imaginative in the toppings and excellent workmanship. The dough is soft and crunchy, the products are of excellent quality, the peculiarity of this place is that the pizza flavor is chosen by the pizza chef, in each slice there are four different flavors, if you do not like some ingredient just say so and the pizza chef will make sure not to use it. There is no table service, you order and when the pizza is ready you are notified by the disk, you collect it and go to eat. The draft beers are excellent, the staff is very friendly, the prices are average. I recommend you book in advance because the place is always full.

02/03/2025: I had dinner here, I took seafood fritters, there was nothing seafood, the dough was good but as said maybe the seafood should have been in the shape, then an arancino, a little cold inside, then pizza napoli (anchovies) and buffalo mozzarella instead of fiordilatte, as a pizza dough it wasn't bad, but the bottom was a bit burnt, there were 3 anchovies, and there must have been 3 or maximum 4 slices of buffalo mozzarella so it was full of sauce and little mozzarella... average prices but if we improved the quantity of ingredients a little perhaps it could be more appreciated...

25/05/2025: The sandwiches are good and of good quality, the choice is not too wide but not too little either. I recommend the baked potatoes which are good and tasty. Staff composed mainly of young people who know how to treat the customer, shame about the environment which is not gigantic and is on the street. I strongly recommend booking because it is almost always full, consequently the waiting times are relatively long. Overall I recommend this place to come and eat, even the prices from my point of view are low so super appreciated. On Saturday evening they do shifts. Two people with chips to nibble, 2 sandwiches, 1 coke and a water we spent €27.

22/06/2025: Highest quality products. Impeccable service. Friendly, professional and competent staff. The quality of the puff pastry products is superior to other pastry shops. Congratulations to the pastry chef are truly due! Both for the cutting-edge choice and for the mastery of creation. On various occasions I have been able to try many things. The small pastry shop is also excellent.
