Antica Trattoria Bonasoni In San giovanni in persiceto

Trattoria like it used to be, the best ragù! The traditional first courses are excellent, the grilled meat is good, tender, and tasty, and the prices are fair.

Bonasoni is one of the few typical Bolognese trattorias that still retains the flavor of true tradition. Here you'll find excellent Bolognese dishes, prepared as they once were: from tagliatelle with ragù to tortellini, to the great local classics, guinea fowl and rabbit, served with generous portions and excellent value. The atmosphere is simple and authentic; perhaps a little renovation would make it even more welcoming, but that's precisely what makes it so authentic. Every time we come, we feel like we're transported back in time to Sunday lunches at grandma's. If you're looking for a trattoria where you can eat well, immerse yourself in Bolognese tradition, and feel welcomed with simplicity, Bonasoni is a choice I'd happily recommend.

The trattoria takes you back in time... and could use a bit of a makeover. Tagliatelle with ragù is excellent, and the Bolognese cutlets need to be revisited. It was a bit greasy, and the Parmesan cream was stringy. It's a shame. The staff is attentive, and the service is quick.

At 1 p.m., service wasn't immediate, but reasonably prompt, given the crowd. On the other hand, the tagliatelle were really good, as was the scottona, and my friends who ordered the boiled meat were very satisfied. There's a decent selection of wines, and the prices are about two-thirds of those of a reasonably priced Bolognese restaurant, and those who enjoy the plains will also enjoy the drive there.

We stopped at this restaurant by chance, and it worked out perfectly! The food was exceptional, the service was fast, and the price was fair! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Old-fashioned trattoria, excellent tagliatelle with ragù and roast rabbit and guinea fowl...if you want to travel back in time and taste grandma's cooking, stop by...good quality wine cellar!!!

We came here on the recommendation of friends and actually had an excellent first course (tagliatelle with meat sauce) and a good second course with side dish. The place is traditional but clean and welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the service is fast. If you're looking for traditional cuisine, you'll be satisfied here.
