25/08/2025: I can say that, given the setting, I expected better. The place is delightful in its simplicity, but from the moment we were seated until the end of the meal, we were met with unprofessional service. It was clear that the lady on staff wasn't at her best, as she was almost surly the entire time, with curt, harsh, almost annoyed responses. The pizza took a while to arrive, even though the place wasn't crowded, but that wasn't a problem. The dough was excellent: well-risen and crispy without being too hard, with a nice tomato sauce. I also felt the need to try the Piacentina, given its reputation, and I wasn't disappointed at all. Only, as it's advertised, it tends to be particularly heavy, and I've always been a big eater. Both this and the Margherita, however, were decidedly too oily, and from the moment we finished lunch, and continuing well into the afternoon, we felt a great heaviness in our stomachs. As if it were lead. I'm sorry you caused us these problems, because the pizza itself is truly delicious, and above all, different from the standard pizzas usually served in Piacenza. I appreciate that they also serve Italian beverages, including Mole Cola, among other things. The presentation is excellent, whether in a glass or a bottle, but I found it too watered down and lemony for my taste. It's still drinkable, regardless. I'm definitely less inclined to indulge in the desserts, since the fresh fig tart's cream tasted like flour. I can't tolerate mistakes like that from a brand that's been in the city for years, especially at those prices. And while I appreciate the reinterpretations of classic dishes, I wasn't able to enjoy the pastry as I would have liked: it was definitely not crumbly enough for a tart. At least the figs were really good, along with the tiramisu, which I found excellent. In short, given the same prices, both for the service and the dishes, if I want a Roman pizza, I'm inclined to go elsewhere.

13/07/2025: Terrible. After 9 of us being squeezed into a corner, they brought us the drinks and water we ordered. After 30 minutes and 5 calls to the waiters, and no joke, we even got our glasses and silverware, because we had to eat the appetizers by hand and in the meantime our water and Coke got warm. Adding to this inconvenience, the rudeness of the cashier and the indifference of the waiter, who even answered rudely, were the icing on the cake. Never again.

As soon as you enter, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff is truly top-notch: kindness, professionalism, and that dazzling smile that makes you feel instantly at home—a detail that, unfortunately, is being lost in too many places in the province, but here, is an integral part of the experience. And the pizza? Exceptional. Thick, soft, fragrant, with quality ingredients and perfectly cooked. Every bite is a journey straight to Naples! The fried foods also deserve an honorable mention: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly flavorful. Absolutely worth trying! 14/08/2025: A sure thing. Every time (I've lost count...). I'm going from memory: fried mushrooms, cod fritters, tagliolini with cherry tomatoes and burrata, Florentine steak... Try it and believe it.

08/09/2025: Dinner on a Monday night when many places are closing... Well, better to stay home! A desire for pizza remained unsatisfied. Tasteless dough, thin texture, and a lot of crust. The toppings were disappointing, almost thrown in at random, like the mountain of arugula covering the two slices of prosciutto underneath and a few pieces of porcini mushrooms here and there. The buffalo mozzarella at the base of the topping had an almost synthetic consistency... absolutely unsatisfactory. Unfortunately, pizza is not this restaurant's strong point. The French fries tasted like fish, as if they were fried in the same oil... nothing could be more unsuitable. The grilled fish tasted stale, and to finish, a tiramisu that was heavy and not very creamy...! I'm sorry, but cooking is also love, beyond having to be a passion and a profession; large numbers at the expense of quality don't pay! Very noisy place. I don't recommend this restaurant!

12/07/2025: I was looking for a pizzeria for lunch. I went in expecting a traditional pizza. When I discovered they only did deep-dish pizza, I considered leaving immediately (I hate deep-dish pizza), but in the end I stayed. And I was very happy with it. The pizza was spectacular; I never imagined deep-dish pizza could be this good. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.

Ottima materia prima e grande abilità in cucina. Perfetto il servizio. Buona scelta di vini (nel rispetto dei limiti alcolemici ti aiutano nel confezionamento delle bottiglie non consumate). Prezzi adeguati: 62€ a testa
