06/12/2025: Very rude waitstaff - not very willing to help and they hover in the area around your table which feels very uncomfortable. The food is overpriced and below average. Meat is dry and pasta average. You can get far better elsewhere for less than half the price. Would not recommend.

17/11/2025: A truly charming place, meticulously maintained and very intimate, with soft background music. It's a quality restaurant where the food is excellent, with carefully presented dishes. The prices are in line with the restaurant's character, so they're certainly not among the cheapest. I would have appreciated some good olive oil to drizzle on the traditional Tuscan bread they serve, given that it's a local product.

17/11/2025: I have known the Capannina for a long time (2000) and can therefore provide my latest experience after years of not coming to dine in this restaurant. The dishes in general have lost in quality as well as in quantity given that we got up hungry. The bill was salty but the satisfaction in eating the dishes ordered was almost zero. I am willing to pay even €100 but the dish must be well cooked and the quantities must be proportionate. A fried food can be charged €15 but it must be substantial and not scarce like the one they brought me. The dessert was even smaller than normal, ridiculous portions at 5 euros each. In short, the customer is not stupid, do you want to charge €15-18 for the dishes? So first of all, make them well (the octopus was very salty and mushy) and don't reduce the quantity too much or it will become ridiculous. Furthermore, last but not least, for reasons of hygiene, waitresses should wear their hair tied up and not in the wind.

22/11/2025: Very nice and rustic, you can really see it's home cooked and loved by locals. We appreciated the open kitchen, it was very clean. The menu is short and changes to the daily availability. Food is nice everyday food, don't expect a gourmet kitchen or haute cuisine. Staff was very nice, friendly and patient.

12/11/2025: ...I'd like to give a brief review, because it would take too long to recount the events that occurred at lunch on Saturday, November 8th: the food was pleasant, the cold cuts platter was average, the ravioli with Chianina ragù was good, the pumpkin soup was good, but the chicken liver pâté was anemic and tasteless, a no-no, and I even paid (at my request, of course!) a premium for bruschetta that was the ridiculous size of 2cm x 3cm... which the lady was even annoyed at bringing to me! The owner's service is beyond comment, but the other lady who waited on the tables was kind. The space was a bit cramped, and there was only one bathroom where the owner's large dog lived peacefully (a very good and calm animal), but given certain hygiene regulations that must be respected, this was perhaps an inappropriate modus operandi.

09/11/2025: The Chef was so friendly and kind, she was super welcoming and accepted all our requests as we only eat Halal meat.

14/12/2025: We found it by chance because it's a bit hidden. The interior is small but warm and welcoming (it must have been a wine cellar in the past), the staff and owner are friendly, and the food is good enough to make you want to recommend it to friends. Reservations are recommended. In good weather, they also have outdoor seating at street level.

05/12/2025: Excellent restaurant. We've eaten fish and meat here before, but this time we tried the pizza. Excellent, with good, friendly service. Quick service and average prices. We'll be back again.

21/11/2025: We ate here three nights with the hotel's half-board. What can I say... Top service, extremely kind staff, always attentive to everything, friendly and always with a smile. Ready to satisfy every need. The local wine is truly excellent! The selection of dishes is varied and of EXCELLENT quality! The pizza was also excellent; my daughter had it all three nights! The prices are more than fair and very low for the excellent quality! What can I say? We'll definitely be eating there again on our next trip! Thanks again for everything!!!!

17/11/2025: My husband and I visited this delightful restaurant last Saturday, and the owner was incredibly kind and helpful in introducing us to her signature dishes. We ate Michelin-starred gorgonzola and pear parcels, artichoke and sausage-filled rosticciana, and lemon-fried chicken. Everything was delicious. The only flaw was that the fried chicken had all the bones, but it was delicious and fried very well. The price was more than fair. We'll definitely be back. We really appreciate the work of the lady who, with her restaurant, keeps a beautiful but almost deserted village alive.

09/06/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant with my wife, trying the tasting menu: carefully prepared dishes, well executed and with interesting combinations. You eat really well, with quality raw materials and a cuisine that demonstrates technique and personality. However, the experience was partly penalized by an important aspect: there is no real wine list. You can only drink from the labels selected by the staff, without the possibility of independent choice. A limitation that weighs, especially for those who like to build their own food and wine journey or want to compare themselves with a wider selection. A format that has potential, but that deserves a review, at least from this point of view.

17/10/2025: We can only give a review about the ice cream. We've never had stracciatella ice cream that was so good. The cookie and lemon flavors were also very popular.
