During our holiday in Tuscany, we made a stop in Bolgheri. A small, charming village with a few shops, restaurants, and enotecas. We stopped at this restaurant with our two children. It was nice that there was a small playground where they could play while we enjoyed the view from the terrace and waited for our food. We were received very warmly, and it was great that—whereas most Italian restaurants close at 1 pm—we could simply eat there at lunchtime. We had the ravioli and lasagna. Very tasty! The wine tasted good too. In short, a nice spot to sit and eat during your visit to Bolgheri.

This restaurant specializes in grilled meat. The crostini are excellent, especially the truffle ones. For our main course, we ordered the grilled chicken and pork shoulder. The chicken was delicious, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a huge portion of baked potatoes. The pork shoulder was equally delicious, along with Tuscan sausages, ribs, and pancetta. We also ordered fried artichokes, which were truly special. Unfortunately, there was no room left for dessert. I recommend their house wine, an excellent bottle of Bolgheri red. The waitress was very professional and kind, and the owners were very friendly.

Sunday lunch with a view... A truly timeless place.
Even though we hadn't booked and were accompanied by a medium-sized dog, they greeted us with a smile and immediately found a solution.
Delicious food! Reminiscent of the flavors of yesteryear...from the appetizer to the grill, everything was superb!
