22/12/2024: I had been there a few years ago and I liked it. I went back a few days ago and everything was confirmed, even better. Very good and plentiful dishes, impeccable service and honest bill. The fried food is truly excellent, very good mixed starter, excellent and homemade walnut gnocchi. Very good and equally plentiful desserts. Furthermore, what should not be underestimated is the environment and the context: quiet and friendly where you feel good and eat with pleasure. Restaurant to recommend and to return often.

05/05/2025: Thoughtful, verified ideal restaurant cuisine, excellent service from the owners and the atmosphere of a beautiful dinner. We took ravioli - it's the best ravioli in life, wonderful fillet with truffles, Florentine steak - very tender, which is rare. There is a separate wine list. Homemade marinated artichokes, handmade ravioli. This restaurant in Chianti and its owner are amazing, I really want to come back here

10/05/2025: This is an excellent restaurant. Hand written manu with dishes that are traditional but not standard. Everything felt homemade and fresh. They took time to explain the whole manu to us. There is a lovely yard behind the dining rim so you can sit outside if you like.

05/06/2025: There are lots of places to eat in San Gimignano, with a mix of touristy spots on the main streets. But head to the top of the town and turn off the main drag and you'll find La Mangiatoia tucked away round a quiet corner serving good quality Tuscan food for a fair price. Nice service by the owners and staff. Highly recommend. We had 2 pasta dishes and they were both excellent.

30/04/2025: We went to this restaurant by chance and what a surprise! We were found a place without having booked, the dishes were delicious and very well received and served. Since we were very happy with our experience, we returned 2 days later with the same success.

18/05/2025: PITIGLIANO is probably the cutest little town in Toscana and staying at the Ceccottino is the best recommendation I could ever make to anyone that wants to experience real tuscan hospitality! The rooms are immaculate clean, done with such taste and dedication to detail. Overall a wonderful experience! Their hosts Chiara and Alessandro are a delight! Their restaurant is fabulous! Still making dishes following their mamma’s recipes but with a twist! The Slow food movement is expressed at its best! A must in Toscana, a true gem you’ll never forget!

27/05/2025: The menu is a perfect combination of tradition and creativity. Every dish we tasted was prepared with the freshest ingredients and presented with care. A special round of applause goes to the mezze maniche with white ragù of Cinta Senese, simply sublime. The wine list is also well-stocked and the staff was able to recommend the perfect pairing. The service was impeccable: friendly, attentive but never intrusive. You can feel a true passion for hospitality and good food. Highly recommended for a romantic dinner, a special occasion or simply for those who want to indulge in a moment of true gastronomic pleasure. We will definitely be back!

07/05/2025: On the recommendation of our host Lorenzo from Palazzo di Valli, we ended up at San Desiderio - not a hidden secret address, but a very good recommendation for a stylish dinner in Siena. We were the first guests at 7 p.m., which surprised us a bit - it was probably due to the rain, because the restaurant definitely deserved to be busier. The San Desiderio is located in a quiet side street, just a few steps from the cathedral and the Piazza del Campo - central, but pleasantly away from the hustle and bustle. Housed in a former Romanesque church, the restaurant offers a special ambience with old brick walls, an impressive wooden beam ceiling and modern details such as large-format horse photographs on canvas. The cuisine combines Tuscan tradition with modern accents. The asparagus risotto was very fine in terms of color and taste, although a bit creamy for our taste. The fried eggs with truffles – simple to prepare but excellent in taste. The beef cheeks were a real highlight: tender as butter, served on creamy mashed potatoes. The sea bass with caramelized fennel and burrata cream was also harmonious and beautifully presented. The whole thing is complemented by an extremely friendly, attentive and multilingual service, which rounded off the visit very pleasantly. An all-round successful evening in a restaurant that wonderfully combines atmosphere, quality and hospitality. We would come back at any time.

06/05/2025: Fantastic!! Super Fiorentina cooked right in front of you! Bruschetta appetizer equally good and different from each other. Highly recommended, you can't help but stop by and eat their meat!! Even the homemade dessert! Super honest prices for the quality!

07/06/2025: The food was all delicious. The T-bone steak was a little tough, but it was okay! There was a Korean female employee at the reception, probably to accommodate Koreans... She was very rude. I don't know why she was there. Oh, and if you make a reservation through the fork app, you get a 30% discount, but be sure to check the bill before paying. Sometimes the regular price is applied, not the discount. In other words, we had to pay again!!

03/05/2025: We had dinner in this restaurant which is literally in the middle of nowhere... the warm welcome from all the staff was surprising... we were welcomed with an entre' with a taste of pappa with tomato and focaccia accompanied by prosecco... we ate tartare and spectacular Pisan mucco fiorentina, drank a Chianti red which was excellently recommended... if I were to return to Pisa I would go back... I highly recommend it... excellent experience for us... thanks from the people of Verona

24/04/2025: Siamo tornati in questo locale immerso nel verde per il pranzo pasquale e questa volta abbiamo ordinato il menù di terra. Che dire? Fantastico!. Le carni cotte alla perfezione , ho mangiato ed apprezzato carni che non avevo mai voluto assaggiare (anatra,quaglia,pecora) Bravissima la ilchef che è riuscita anche questa volta a stupirci e conquistarci. Torneremo sicuramente è vista la fiducia nella cucina daremo mano libera alla chef.
