08/11/2025: A typical restaurant in the center of Siena. Dinner included a first course (pici senesi, tagliatelle with duck ragù), a second course (suckling pig split in half), and a dessert (ricciarello with zabaglione and licorice ice cream). Everything was delicious. The owner was very friendly and willing to explain the traditions of the Siena Palio and its districts. Reasonably priced!! The only flaw was the house white wine, which was acidic. Highly recommended.

07/11/2025: In Tuscany, it's rare to eat badly or encounter unpleasant people. This place offers good-quality traditional cuisine and friendly staff. Excellent pici cacio e pepe and ricciarelli with zabaglione and hot chocolate!

02/10/2025: A truly memorable charcuterie platter!! The cod was also excellent! The location was beautiful, overlooking the square but sheltered from the rain.

31/10/2025: Last lunch in Italy with a friend to say goodbye. We waited 40 minutes between the appetizer and the main course. The mushroom bauletti weren't particularly interesting. The wait wasn't worth it. Quail with mushrooms and frozen blueberries. I don't recommend it. It was a place from my childhood, and honestly, it left a bad taste in my mouth. Advice: Avoid.

02/11/2025: Hidden gem in the hills of Chianti not to far from San Donato we came across this wonderful spot that if you weren’t paying attention you would pass right on by. We discovered it 8-9 years ago and we’ve been returning ever since, sometimes twice in a trip. Amazing view and a wonderful outdoor covered patio. This was the first place where I ordered Porcini mushrooms and the waiter brought out a platter of uncooked ones for me to pick from. Absolutely delicious as all of their dishes are. I especially like the pappardelle with the wild boar ragu. Be sure to try a bottle of the local Chianti - our favorite is the Quercia Al Poggio,

03/10/2025: My wife booked a wine tasting here for her birthday while we were visiting from the US. Wonderful experience, friendly & accommodating staff, great food and wine. Our presenter was knowledgeable and courteous to our MANY questions. We'd highly recommend visiting here.

17/11/2025: What can I say... there are no words... starting from the owner and the staff. Everything was perfect... each dish better than the last, you can eat everything from truffles to steak for a spectacular explosion of flavor!!!

11/11/2025: A well-kept, clean, and welcoming restaurant. The staff is courteous, polite, and knowledgeable. The dishes are well-balanced in quantity, meticulously prepared, and unique in flavor. Impeccable service, from the welcome drink to the bill, which is reasonable and modest for the quality and location. The wines are excellent, and the selection of traditional products is varied. I highly recommend stopping by.

13/11/2025: The lines will tell it all! The staff are friendly, fast, and kind! Their food — I tried their Florence steak and OMG, it’s another way to fall in love with Florence! Their spritz — I could easily drink three of them and still want more! The sweetness and ratio in the Hugo spritz work like magic! Their tiramisu — a sweet kiss to end your meal. Traditional, legendary Italian tiramisu — as it should be! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!

12/11/2025: ...I'd like to give a brief review, because it would take too long to recount the events that occurred at lunch on Saturday, November 8th: the food was pleasant, the cold cuts platter was average, the ravioli with Chianina ragù was good, the pumpkin soup was good, but the chicken liver pâté was anemic and tasteless, a no-no, and I even paid (at my request, of course!) a premium for bruschetta that was the ridiculous size of 2cm x 3cm... which the lady was even annoyed at bringing to me! The owner's service is beyond comment, but the other lady who waited on the tables was kind. The space was a bit cramped, and there was only one bathroom where the owner's large dog lived peacefully (a very good and calm animal), but given certain hygiene regulations that must be respected, this was perhaps an inappropriate modus operandi.

09/11/2025: The Chef was so friendly and kind, she was super welcoming and accepted all our requests as we only eat Halal meat.

12/10/2025: A must-visit for lunch for those traveling on business via the Siena-Perugia ring road, just steps from the exit. The food, atmosphere, courtesy, and prices are worth a visit and a return visit whenever the opportunity arises.

19/10/2025: We had a good time except for a small problem with a starter, which was resolved immediately and with extreme kindness by the table staff. Otherwise, the food is good and the price is right, excellent value for money. If the company isn't the best, read what you find on the walls and it will be a turning point for your evening. I had a lot of fun, it's definitely a place worth returning to.

17/10/2025: We came on the recommendation of a local and were absolutely thrilled. Such a beautiful, cozy restaurant with truly good, authentic food. The service was excellent. Although the friendly waitress didn't speak English well, she tried to understand our requests and served me my simple pasta with tomato sauce (even though it wasn't on the menu). The pasta was divine, and my husband's entrecôte was also perfect. This is authentic Italian cuisine, just the way we like it! Thank you for the lovely evening!

The atmosphere is refined and informal, with convenient parking, an outdoor veranda for warmer weather, and friendly service; reservations are recommended on weekends.

19/10/2025: Excellent food: the crostini/crostoni were very good, the tagliata were delicious, and the fried artichokes were exquisite (the only complaint was that they were perhaps a little too salty). Fast and friendly service, a quiet atmosphere. The price was average. Overall, highly recommended!
