After a few disappointing meals during our stay here, we were so happy to dine here. The dishes were flavorful and unique. We ordered the onion flan (a must), lamb and potato ravioli, and the florentine tripe. All were great but the flan was our favorite! Panna cotta with coffee cream for dessert was rich and smooth as well.

Not rushed. Not expensive. Nice mix of locals and non-locals. Food delicious and fresh. Staff warm and welcoming. Great wine selection. Edit: Thanks, Stanley Tucci.

One of my favorite trattorias in Florence (certainly not one of the many tourist traps). Fair prices and very high quality of dishes - all typical Tuscan. Nice, friendly and fast staff.

Enjoyed an excellent dinner. Reservations are absolutely necessary. The ravioli filled with spinach and ricotta are a delight! The wild boar prepared to perfection. The panna cotta is a poem!

This restaurant has been here for 40 years, I think, so it is one of the longest-standing high-end restaurants in Florence. The food is very good and the service is as well. If you’re looking for great pastas, I would probably recommend another option in the area; the pasta options are very good (I enjoyed my papardelle with boar ragu) but the White Boar is known more for its Tuscan steaks. We each ordered a pasta as a prime and ordered one steak (min 1.25kg) as the second course to share. It is cooked VERY rare, but is very good.

My favorite restaurant in the world. I discovered this place many many years ago when I traveled to Florence regularly for business. it had been my favorite place to eat for a long time! I have not been back for many years but was able to bring my family this time. I was worried that all my hype might disappoint. It was the best dinner we had on our two week trip. It is now my hubby favorite place too! The service is wonderful the food is amazing!

Tipica trattoria ( osteria ) fiorentina con piatti toscani ben preparati : sono rimasto positivamente colpito da una straordinaria ribollita ( ne ho presa mezza porzione ) e dal filetto cotto nel chianti. Il prezzo e' un po' piu' alto della media ma ci sta, vista la vicinanza a Ponte Vecchio. ( 55 euro con bicchiere di vino e caffe') Da tornarci
