05/03/2026: We had dinner yesterday evening, March 3rd, choosing this restaurant purely by chance as we passed by because it was close to our hotel. The food quality was EXCELLENT: We had a trio of tartares and a Chianina Florentine steak for the main course, which we shared between three of us. We were welcomed and served very warmly and with great hospitality. I recommend trying it because it's worth it.

02/03/2026: A very disappointing experience. The service was poor and unprofessional, with no attention to detail. The prices are excessively high for the quality offered, which is far from satisfactory. Furthermore, basic details are lacking: the olive oil was terrible, of very low quality, unforgivable in a restaurant that charges these prices. Overall, it feels like they're trying to overcharge without offering a decent product or service. I absolutely do not recommend it.

13/03/2026: A very cute and unique location. The service was friendly. We had a very good charcuterie board accompanied by a good wine. The peposo was also good, with a very strong flavor. A positive experience. Recommended.

08/02/2026: A great place with a wonderful atmosphere. I came here to try the local Chianto wine. Firstly, the wine was fantastic. It was a rainy evening, and the whole restaurant felt like it was just for me. The girl at the bar was incredibly sweet and helpful. I only had a glass of wine and declined the appetizers—I was only interested in the wine and was full—but they brought me some small appetizers for free, and they were very friendly. I highly recommend it, and the paintings and interior are especially worthy of praise.

06/03/2026: I ate there two months ago, and the service was terrible. Our entire table's food was mistakenly served to another table, and they had already started eating. Of course, our food was also wrong because they brought it back from the wrong table. After we complained, they actually took it from another table and put it back on our table. How could we eat food that other customers had touched after paying so much money? Even after we complained, their attitude was still awful; they argued in front of us and even cried, sounding aggrieved. I think we were the ones who were wronged. We went there specifically for the T-bone steak, but the meat was barely cooked medium-rare…

14/03/2026: The atmosphere and service was great but I am sad to say the food was not. I had such high expectations and the wild boar pasta was ok but the chicken with pecorino was not. I possibly chose the wrong items but, sadly, I would not go back.

15/01/2026: Simply phenomenal experience. Delicious food from start to finish. Exceptional first courses, spectacular second courses, and truly mouth-watering side dishes. Everything was cooked with care, authentic flavor, and generous portions. But what really made the difference was the staff. The gentleman who served us and the lady in the kitchen were exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful. They made you feel at home, not just a number sitting at a table. As soon as we said we had to be at the airport at 2:30 PM, they immediately understood the situation. The gentleman who served us immediately went to the kitchen to let us know, and in no time at all, our second courses were brought to us. No excuses, no unnecessary wait, just attention and respect for the customer. We truly loved it. Incredible price for what we ate. €75 for four first courses, four second courses, three side dishes, and even coffee. Extremely high quality, very fair price, a rarity these days. We left happy, satisfied, and with full bellies and hearts. As soon as we return to Florence, we will definitely eat here again. A place that truly deserves tradition, kindness, and cuisine prepared as it should be.

04/01/2026: A typical trattoria in the center of Siena, good food, and a very authentic restaurant. The only flaw is that they close at 2:30 PM, meaning that if you get to the limit, the staff will try to make you feel welcome, but you can tell they can't wait for you to finish and leave to close up. Understandable, but I think if you want to run a restaurant in the center of a city like Siena, you can't even consider closing so early. But all in all, a great experience. Oh, I forgot, when you name dishes, especially traditional ones, you have to respect them. Spaghetti all'assassina: not even the spaghetti was worthy of a review.
