02/10/2025: What can I say about the best in Empoli's catering...

29/09/2025: Despite a reservation for 40 people made well in advance and a fixed menu so rigid that they wouldn't bring an alternative dish for a guest who doesn't eat pork, we waited almost an hour before seeing a dish... Not to mention the cheesecake included in the menu, which measured a whopping 2.5cm x 2.5cm per portion and for which they absolutely wanted to know in advance the only sauce allowed on top. The way they handled a group of 40 people for 35 euros a head was decidedly unpleasant...!!!!

13/10/2025: Had high hopes based on reviews and social media. The server took our order and was friendly enough. Overpriced, small portions and felt like a tourist trap overall. The beans in tomato sauce were the best part. Meatballs were some of the worst we've ever had. Not a memorable meal and not one I'd reccommend.

12/10/2025: This place was so good my wife literally cried while eating it! Delicious truffle and pistachio pasta. The meat was quite rare/blue but but the taste was 10/10 The meatball appetizer was also phenomenal!

01/10/2025: We discovered this amazing restaurant while traveling in Florence with my family. The T-bone steak was absolutely delicious! The pasta was amazing! The service was super friendly. Highly recommended.

28/09/2025: I got takeout pizza, which used to be delicious and thin. Now it's super thin, not crispy; you might be wondering if it's a frozen crust, if it weren't for the fact that they make it in front of you. It's not crispy, and it's gotten worse over time, but it's worth avoiding now. The waiters and atmosphere are pleasant as always, but the pizza chef is a bit grumpy. I'm only talking about the pizza because the food is still as good as it has been, based on other dinners.

05/10/2025: Every time we come, we eat great! We stay at the S. Michele hotel right next door, which is also family-owned. Delicious food and superb service. We'll keep coming back.

10/09/2025: I went here for dinner, curious to try one of their tartares. The meat is exquisite, with very interesting pairings, and the guy who works there even recommends the right wine. The highlight of the dinner was the peposo, a dish I hadn't tried. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be back. Kudos to the place!

It must be acknowledged that this promise is partly fulfilled by the quality of some of the ingredients, with cured meats and raw ham demonstrating meticulous research. However, the experience's balance falters on a few key fronts. The service moves at an excessively slow pace, inflating the wait beyond what is comfortable. This slowness is accompanied by a portion size policy that leaves one perplexed, creating an imbalance with the asking price.

02/10/2025: The Impruneta peposo is good. The trattoria is simple and basic, but the service is courteous and prompt. Don't expect refined dishes, but the food is decent at competitive prices. Forget the wine; drink something else.

20/09/2025: We chose this place for a romantic dinner, and I can say it absolutely deserves 5 stars. The welcome was perfect, the food delicious and of excellent quality, from the appetizers to the coffee (we tried the tasting menu for 40 euros). The service was prompt and very courteous. I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely be back. The only downside is that pets are unfortunately not allowed inside the restaurant, but only for structural reasons beyond their control. They are only allowed at the outside tables, which are not set up in the evening (the owner actually apologized for this).

13/09/2025: We're coming from Verona, our first time at this restaurant. The "Capannaccia"'s calling card was the courtesy and kindness of the owners and all the staff. The open kitchen and the fireplace in the dining room, where they grill meats in front of the guests, demonstrate their dedication and professionalism. The outdoor seating offers a relaxing and peaceful view. The food was very good and high-quality; the dish that surprised me the most was the risotto (the best risotto I've ever eaten). We'll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who's in the area.

20/09/2025: Hello, my first trip to Italy. A stroll through the city and an Etrusca pastry shop. A coincidence, but they taste the best... The baba is delicious, well-soaked, delicate, and the syrup is wonderful. The coffee is good, and the canola cream is great. As for the service, two charming Italians! Even in a long line, they politely asked where we were from. They worked with a smile. The entire team is friendly and does their job with a smile. The bathroom is on-site, clean, and well-equipped. You'll find a large selection of sweets, drinks, and their sandwiches. A satisfied person, having eaten the cake, looked at it, and was happy... I recommend checking it out if you're in Perugia.

16/05/2025: Fui pelas avaliações que vi aqui, mas me surpreendi negativamente. O garçom é rude e te trata diferente se você não é italiano. Tentei pedir uma sobremesa por várias vezes e ele passava por nós e ignorava… quando enfim pedimos a conta, ele quis tirar o pedido da sobremesa e como percebeu a insatisfação, trouxe de “presente” um bolo velho. Sobre a comida, é simples e não tem nada de especial. Razoável.
