13/11/2025: This house has so much history that you almost automatically fall silent the moment you arrive. Ancient walls, a courtyard seemingly from another era, and charming little details everywhere. And the food… my goodness, the food. Every plate is a masterpiece. You can taste that the person cooking here truly understands their craft and pours their heart and soul into it. The service: attentive, but not intrusive. The atmosphere: warm, unpretentious, and effortlessly cozy. The ambiance: so inviting that you'll want to stay longer than you intended.

13/10/2025: We have been staying regularly at the Ansitz Romani since 2012 and have witnessed its continuous, high-quality development over the past 13 years. The rooms in the historic main building, each individually furnished, are stunning. The new suites in the adjacent annex leave nothing to be desired. Whether with a small terrace, a balcony, or even a terrace overlooking the bio-pool, there's something for everyone here. Breakfast, which can also be enjoyed in the garden during warm weather, is plentiful and varied. Eggs made to order are always welcome, along with a choice of coffee specialties. And since the coronavirus pandemic, every breakfast table now has a three-tiered etagere with South Tyrolean delicacies and much more. We have never been disappointed with dinner at the Taberna Romani. The menu is manageable and changes regularly. But Armin Pernstich, the award-winning chef, also offers a small selection on a daily menu depending on what's available. The wine cellar leaves nothing to be desired. Whether white or red, or even rosé, there's something for everyone. And if not, there's also the house's own organic apple juice. Conclusion: Sabine, Armin, and their family have created a wonderful retreat. The staff at the lodge are also courteous and friendly. Oh, and parking in their own parking lot is easy.

13/10/2025: We celebrated our anniversary, and like every year, we do it with an experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Our experience at this magnificent restaurant was truly positive because, in addition to the delicious food, we found a welcoming atmosphere and, what's not to be expected, truly competent and friendly staff, which in my opinion makes the difference at these places. The very kind chef came out to greet us personally and chat. A top-notch experience.

20/12/2025: The place and atmosphere are amazing. You can choose from the menu if you want, but the best option is to choose one of the fixed menus. It was very enjoyable.

16/11/2025: The 7 course fix menu was very disappointing. It is definitely not Michelin one star level. A huge dog was brought to the restaurant by one of the guest, which is very rare in the Michelin restaurant

12/11/2025: I can only comment on the restaurant, as I haven't stayed there, but seeing everything else, I imagine the rooms are also meticulously maintained, clean, and comfortable. The restaurant and cellar are magnificent, exquisitely restored and furnished with expertly restored traditional peasant furniture and objects. Congratulations for that alone. The culinary experience is truly worth experiencing, featuring local products and freshly cooked. The many different types of stuffed bread, homemade of course, was wonderful! The welcome was excellent and warm. Impeccably clean. A place worth discovering and recommending if you love good food and tradition.

09/11/2025: A gem with a warm, family atmosphere. We received a wonderful welcome from Anna, Elena, and Agostino. The rooms are absolutely charming and well-equipped, and the evening meal featuring local cuisine is extraordinary. The breakfasts are superb. In short, thank you for your hospitality. We highly recommend it!

06/12/2025: Everything is excellent at this restaurant, the food is exquisite and the waiters are very attentive. I'm lowering it to 3 stars because charging €5 for a soft drink seems excessive, an exaggeration.

30/11/2025: We had lunch yesterday and the food was absolutely amazing. The dish of the day was black pasta with prawns. The starter mixed cheese and charcuterie was very good too not to mention the the panacotta desert! Thks for the experience. Highly recommended.

02/12/2025: The restaurant was recommended to us and we were pleasantly surprised; the food was excellent, and the wine pairing was superb. The only downside was a server who just sort of dumped the food on the table. However, I will definitely visit again because the owner is so friendly and unique.

08/11/2025: Dinner for two a few years ago: the dishes were sparse, fairly standard, and full of butter and cream (really annoying). The cake (I ordered) was burnt, and they served us two almost transparent slices, keeping the rest for me to pay in full. The atmosphere, while very nice and welcoming, was a bit run-down. Never again.

Service with meticulous attention to detail, an elegant yet never overbearing atmosphere, and the cuisine coherently expresses the essence of a Michelin star: authentic and refined flavors, well-balanced harmonies built on top-quality ingredients and a skill that knows how to enhance with restraint and creativity. Kudos to the sommelier, who with professionalism and kindness guided us through a sensory experience "blind": a bottle chosen without knowing the label, which made the tasting a pleasant game of discovery, amidst aromas, sensations, and curiosities revealed only at the end. Thanks to those who made all this possible. More than a dinner: an experience, an emotion, a memory to cherish.

17/12/2025: We tried it the first time, but there was no room. We made a reservation for the second day, as the place was always packed. We decided to have a quick dinner and had a very good pizza with thin crust, a thick crust, and plenty of toppings. The atmosphere was nice.

23/11/2025: We had lunch today, a lovely discovery. The dishes were tasty and beautifully presented. They don't try to imitate meat-based dishes, but have created a new style of cuisine. Some ventures were successful, like the strudel made with carasau bread. Balanced pairings, smiling customers, and a clean, open kitchen. Thank you :)

17/11/2025: A paradise for vegans! Super delicious food. The cheese platter, in particular, was something special. The service was very friendly but a bit lacking – hence the one-star deduction. The appetizer wasn't completely cleared away; the service rarely came by, so we had to order more water, espresso, etc. ourselves. We would have expected a bit more service from a restaurant like this. Nevertheless, highly recommended!
