01/03/2026: A nice, well-kept place with competent, attentive staff. However, the menu isn't very varied for those who don't want to eat meat. Furthermore, at checkout, having spent a considerable amount, we expected a complimentary liqueur as a courtesy and customary gesture. When we pointed this out to the staff, we were rudely told they weren't required to do so.

01/03/2026: Nice atmosphere, good service, and the food quality is good. The four of us spent €375, drinking two bottles of red Valpolicella, which was clearly decent. We paid in cash. No thank you, no amaro offered, and for the promised 1.3kg Florentine steak we requested, they charged us 1.7kg. At the table, they told us the raw steak weighed 1.3kg. The food is good, but be careful, they're trying to make as much money as they can.

01/03/2026: We have just returned from Venice. Since suffering food poisoning after eating at your restaurant, my daughter and I are still unwell. My daughter was vomiting throughout the entire journey from Venice to London and looked extremely pale. We even had to call a doctor at Venice Airport to attend to her. We nearly missed our flight as a result. The oysters we ordered had a very unpleasant smell, which your staff acknowledged before taking them back. The seafood dish we ordered had the same bad odor; however, we had already eaten half of it. Your staff were aware that the food was not fresh, as they only charged us half the bill, but the experience was entirely unacceptable. I personally spent the entire night vomiting and I am still feeling very unwell.

19/03/2026: It's been our go-to pizzeria for years. The quality is always excellent and the selection is varied. The restaurant also offers a wide selection of both meat and fish. A dedicated meat fridge, open to view, and a large, always-on grill complete the offerings. The drinks are also good, with everything you could possibly need. We'll be back again and again.

03/03/2026: I returned after many years because I had a great time. I can confirm the good service, the beautiful, well-kept location, the pizza, in my opinion, was very sweet in the dough and the mozzarella was classic, I emphasize, in my opinion. The mussels lacked flavor. Too bad. I will definitely return to try the meat.

07/02/2026: Lodging in a B&B you have to look for a place to eat at night every day. Selva is loaded with pizzeria-restaurants and I save my review for the most pleasant one we encountered. Especially atmosphere and staff made the day. We had good bruschetta, nice mezzalune and acceptable fettuccini. There is a surprisingly long wine list. Reservation necessary!

29/01/2026: Probably the best pizzeria in Wolkenstein. Great food, great service, etc. Since the drinks were served a little late, the owner offered us two excellent grappas. We'll be back.

25/02/2026: The food was very good. I ordered a Taste of Sea and the seafood was fresh and tasty. I ordered Tortellini with Parmesan sauce, but it wasn't al dente. The service is average, however, the manager/Maître d' was very cordial and attentive, gave me a complimentary digestif, and made the right choice with the wine, which was very good. The atmosphere is pleasant but not exciting. Easy parking, I recommend making a reservation.

13/10/2025: We celebrated our anniversary, and like every year, we do it with an experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Our experience at this magnificent restaurant was truly positive because, in addition to the delicious food, we found a welcoming atmosphere and, what's not to be expected, truly competent and friendly staff, which in my opinion makes the difference at these places. The very kind chef came out to greet us personally and chat. A top-notch experience.

20/01/2026: From the Tonale Pass, we headed toward Valsugana, and in addition to the beautiful view of the lake, which truly brings me peace, we came across this place, which I find very captivating. Here, you can indulge in a dish of local cuisine, a pizza, or grilled meat, all in a beautifully curated setting run by the very welcoming owners. And as their motto is clearly stated on the menu, "Everything always begins with a woman." It's worth a visit.

08/03/2026: A splendid and impeccably maintained location; unfortunately, the cuisine still needs some improvement to fully live up to the setting. The initial wait was a bit long, but overall bearable: the location and the view help you enjoy the moment. Expectations were high, especially since it's a place we'd love to return to. A few small adjustments to the dishes would be advisable: • Octopus alla Luciana: tender and flavorful, but slightly dry and cut with a knife not exactly suited to the task; • Tagliolini with cacio e pepe and mussels: tasty, but these also arrived a bit dry. An interesting note about the bread: we were told "we'll bring you some warm bread soon"... we expected it to be freshly baked, but instead it was lukewarm but cold in the middle—hard to understand why. The portions were still good, and the dishes were tasty overall. The unsolicited discount at the end was appreciated. Overall, a positive experience: we'll be back.

19/12/2025: We just had a great experience dining in Trattoria Valmarana. Both of our servers were really nice and the food was incredible! I wasn’t sure what to order and the pasta recommendation that server gave was so delicious! It was probably the best pasta I’ve ever had 🥹 Would definitely recommend 😊

Unparalleled local products, wines, oils, and manna, along with the presence and words of Giulio Gelardi, warmed the hearts and souls of all of us. 15/02/2026: In my opinion, the best restaurant in the neighborhood. We've dined here several times, trying the various set menus they offer. Each time, we've been completely satisfied, given the quality and quantity of the food. The appetizer selection is very unique, varied, and high-quality. Unlike other restaurants, the quality of the various courses is consistently high, so I would recommend it for both a first and second course dinner. The service is much more informal than the aesthetics of the place, but in a good way. There are two dining rooms, but overall there are few seats, so reservations are recommended. On the other hand, there are no problems with parking, given the fairly isolated location. We'll definitely be back, as it's become a local favorite.
