2018 Review: Excellent meat menu, knowledgeable, friendly, and kind staff. I'll be back even though it's not cheap. 2019 Update: The pizza was very dry, it looked like it had a frozen base: you'd need a saw to cut it, and it arrived in 10 minutes🤐 even when the place was full... As a restaurant, it works, so forget about the pizza. 2026 Update: I went back for pizza. Excellent! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Good first and second courses, and the pizza too! The outdoor courtyard is perfect on summer evenings.

I went to Al Gelso for a Vasco concert. The food was excellent, top-quality meat, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was very nice. The price was more than excellent. I highly recommend it. Thank you so much.

Pizzeria and restaurant in the heart of the city's historic center, with spacious and comfortable interiors and outdoor seating in the back with a retractable roof in case of rain. Excellent pizzas, tasty and easy to digest. The first and second courses, featuring meat or fish, are always top-quality, as are the desserts. The excellent selection of grilled meats is special. Reasonable prices. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Suitable for all occasions, from a family outing to a dinner with friends or colleagues.

A huge, fantastic selection of meats, absolutely top quality. Grilled to perfection, just the way you like it. The best pizza I've had there in a long time. A beautifully decorated pizzeria/osteria. The tables are perhaps a little close together, but understandable given how busy it is. Reservations are recommended.
