10/03/2026: I discovered this small pastry shop a few weeks ago and tried it several times in just a few days. Besides having a very kind owner, it offers products with an exceptional taste and balance of sweetness. The tiramisu is delicious, assembled and served freshly in an impeccable and original way, but the true masterpiece is the cinnamon roll, incredibly balanced and light. It also comes in a vegan version, lower in fat than the regular version, and deserves a generous 5 stars. For me, it's definitely in the top 5 of Bologna's bakeries.

16/12/2025: A truly fascinating experience. The interior reflects the ancient building techniques used in ancient times, making it feel like we've stepped back in time. The walls exude history, and in such a historic setting, the modern furnishings fit perfectly. The open kitchen and expertly prepared food with fresh, local ingredients, a touch of innovation, and the dishes become art... Highly recommended!

11/03/2026: Excellent restaurant, always a guarantee. Today, seared calamari with asparagus and calamarata allo scoglio. A true delight. This is a must-try when I come to Saluzzo.

08/03/2026: I ordered fondue (the restaurant's signature dish) for two, which wasn't bad in itself, but compared to four years ago, they "forgot" to bring me much of the dipping sauce. For €60, they served us a few thin slices of mocetta and a bowl of bread cubes... for two. When I asked for more, they brought me another bowl of bread, 20 minutes later with the fondue cold. The Bellevue (the owner) is an excellent 5-star hotel. This is my third year coming here, and I don't think the management of this restaurant is still up to par with its standard of service.

27/02/2026: The place is very cute and typical of the area. The food is very good and not expensive, but the cheeses are a bit pricey for the quantity. The polenta is also a bit pricey, but the other dishes are reasonably priced. Overall, however, we found the quality/price ratio to be more fair than the competition.

17/02/2026: Valentine's Day dinner. Everything was perfect. Attention to detail and special dishes. The foie gras buttons and pigeon breast were perfect. Chef Andrea is a special person. Kind, gentle, and uniquely polite. Great qualities in addition to extraordinary professional talent. A well-deserved success.

The dishes are spectacular, not only aesthetically but also for their balance, technique, and depth of flavor. Each course tells a story, with top-quality ingredients enhanced by creative, never forced pairings. The presentations are true works of art, always at the service of flavor, making each dish surprising and harmonious. The service is impeccable, attentive, professional, and perfectly timed, without ever being stiff or aloof. The staff demonstrates great expertise and passion, accompanying the experience with clear and precise explanations, anticipating every need with ease and elegance. Everything is enveloped in a magical atmosphere, where time and hustle and bustle seem to stand still, leaving room only for the pleasure of the cuisine and the moment. A restaurant that offers more than just dinner, but a complete and refined experience, absolutely worth experiencing at least once.

27/01/2026: A delicious dinner featuring traditional Sardinian dishes. The place is very welcoming, and the owners are excellent hosts. They let you order "tastings" so you can try different daily specials. Brilliant idea, highly recommended!

15/02/2026: We recently went on holiday to Taormina and wanted to hike up Mount Etna. On the way, we stopped in Zafferano Etna, where a woman recommended that we don't eat in Taormina, but instead in a beautiful place called Forza d'Agro. It's about 30 minutes from Taormina, nestled in the mountains with stunning views of the sea and Calabria. Incidentally, scenes from the film "Il Padrino" were filmed there! We had a wonderful meal at this trattoria, of course with fish, and the value for money was excellent! Highly recommended!

14/01/2026: I was in Sorrento on an organized trip, and I happened upon this restaurant by chance with some of my fellow travelers. The owner greeted us very warmly, saying he'd offer us both wine and bruschetta. We thought it was yet another tourist trap, where they sit you down and then charge you for everything, but they were true to their word: decent wine, excellent bruschetta, and delicious main courses, all reasonably priced (the seafood risotto was €20, which was also delicious). Highly recommended, especially for its excellent location; if I were to return to this beautiful town, I'd definitely know where to have lunch.

10/03/2026: I used to go there in the '90s, and I came back with my family. The welcome is wonderful, the owner immediately puts you at ease. The dishes truly have a seafood flavor, and they have excellent recommendations. And a plus is that they welcome our four-legged friends.

09/03/2026: Beautiful and elegant, as soon as you enter, you can sense that hospitality is a cornerstone of the place, as I like to call it, Giorgiopensiero, accompanies the customer through everything that I would not call a banal lunch or dinner, but a well-rounded culinary experience. A pet-friendly place, where even our pets have their own space, well-spaced tables, a warm and elegant atmosphere, the staff are knowledgeable and welcoming and the dishes are simply fantastic, following the seasonality and every time, it is always like the first.... A refined cuisine, never banal or boring, rich in flavor, where the raw materials, truly high quality, are prepared with excellent care, applause to the guys who love their work, and all this comes across on the plate!! The best risotto I have ever tasted.... Highly recommended along with the stuffed pasta, the lightest and tastiest fried food..... In short, Giorgiopensiero has convinced me!!! My favorite little place ❤, where we always return, like family... See you soon guys!!! ❤️

22/03/2026: Consistently excellent, this place proves itself year after year as the ideal spot for a quality, informal dinner. A thoughtful and varied use of cheeses enhances both first and second courses. The staff is impeccably courteous.

15/03/2026: The intimate atmosphere is perfect for a romantic dinner or a small gathering. The food was excellent; I especially recommend the gnocchi. The service deserves special mention: attentive in the presentation of the dishes and wines, but also spontaneous and pleasantly witty. I'll gladly return!

15/12/2025: From the location to the dishes and the always top-notch staff... I've been coming for years, and I must say it's always evolving.

20/12/2025: Limited flexibility in editing the food items which is standard in italy but they were very kind to us as we are vegetarian. They made us Gnocchi sorrentino and it was the best italian dish I may have had in my whole life. Ate it twice in a 3-4 day stay in positano. Honestly if you are vegetarian the dish will not disappoint it is hands down created for the gods. So fantastic! The tomato sauce and the basil really shine through the dish, it is truly something special! Beautiful family! Cheers to the chef making such an extraordinary dish, yet so simple. I refuse to eat Gnocchi anywhere else because I don’t want to be disappointed. Truly hand crafted!

22/02/2026: This was an amazing experience! The restaurant is beautiful, food is great, and the service! Everyone friendly, funny and it doesn't matter that they don't speak much English, it's even better, you will always find a way how to communicate.

15/02/2026: We had lunch with some friends and chose a fish appetizer with both fried and raw fish, all delicious. We particularly enjoyed the raw fish and the extremely delicate mixed fried fish. We continued with two first courses (paccheri and spaghetti with squid ink) and desserts, especially the single-serving cassata. Regarding the quality/price ratio, it's worth noting that the prices are quite high for the area. The setting is nice, but the atmosphere is a bit cold. Yesterday (Valentine's Day) I would have put something colorful on the table or a few candles to add to the theme. But that's just my personal opinion. The wait staff was friendly and courteous.
