08/03/2026: I ordered fondue (the restaurant's signature dish) for two, which wasn't bad in itself, but compared to four years ago, they "forgot" to bring me much of the dipping sauce. For €60, they served us a few thin slices of mocetta and a bowl of bread cubes... for two. When I asked for more, they brought me another bowl of bread, 20 minutes later with the fondue cold. The Bellevue (the owner) is an excellent 5-star hotel. This is my third year coming here, and I don't think the management of this restaurant is still up to par with its standard of service.

27/02/2026: The place is very cute and typical of the area. The food is very good and not expensive, but the cheeses are a bit pricey for the quantity. The polenta is also a bit pricey, but the other dishes are reasonably priced. Overall, however, we found the quality/price ratio to be more fair than the competition.

05/07/2026: Everything here is at the highest level ❤️ The most delicious Ukrainian dishes, young, energetic waiters quickly handle the order, and the highlight of the restaurant is live music Everything is great 👍

05/06/2026: When you dream of finding that one amazing restaurant while you're visiting Italy... you've found it, it's Taberna Santona. I walked in on a Friday evening not long after they opened. I'd read many great reviews and was nervous that the place would be fully booked, but to my surprise there was a choice of tables both inside and outside. All the staff spoke Italian with me and one server even kindly told me I spoke well, which I really appreciated because it means a lot to hear that from a native speaker. Everyone was pleasant, no one seemed impatient or uncaring. Tourists were treated as kindly as locals. Staff checked in a few times to see how everything was, including the owner (I think) who seemed genuinely pleased to hear that people were enjoying their food. I had the insalata normanna, which was an interesting mix of things i never would've thought to combine in one dish, but it worked very well. I thought the onion was a little overpowering but that was a minor detail. I then had the couscous Carlofortina which was also quite good. Both dishes were light yet still enough to make for a solid meal. Everyone raves about the chocolate cake, rightfully so because it was so good I got a second piece to bring with me. Get it with caramel and whipped cream. I'm not normally a caramel fan but i impulsively said yes when asked if i wanted it. this caramel tasted divine, not like it came from a jar. All the desserts are homemade too. The people seated next to me were talking about how delicious the panna cotta was. Places like these are what you'll remember months and years after your visit, and i hope to be able to come back soon. Grazie mille per tutto 😋🍽🩷

28/05/2026: An experience not to be missed. The atmosphere is not only welcoming but also, above all, immersed in the surrounding nature. My partner and I opted for the "lunch flight" option, and the value for money far exceeded our expectations. The attentiveness of the waitresses was commendable, and we felt truly welcomed. We particularly appreciated the dishes with innovative and sophisticated combinations, unlike those found in a typical restaurant. The only thing it had in common with any osteria was the bill, which was not fair—more so! The hour and a half to reach this place was totally worth it. If you have the chance, stop by; you won't regret it.

26/05/2026: Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail! Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious location. Really good food. We were there for my girlfriend's graduation, and they even gave her a little surprise at the end. Highly appreciated!

12/06/2026: During our visit to Sorrento, we ate at this highly-rated restaurant. Unfortunately, the dish my wife ordered (spaghetti vongole) was quite good, but the pasta was really undercooked. I know what Italian al dante means, but this was almost crunchy. I had pasta bolognese, which was cooked, but the sauce was rather bland. Furthermore, the menu doesn't mention the cover charge of €3 per person.

03/06/2026: This restaurant was recommended to us by a local who we chatted with at a nearby cafe, so we were looking forward to trying it out. We ordered gnocchi pasta dish with tomato sauce, which tasted homely, had great comforting flavour. We also ordered a tagliatelle dish with mushrooms and truffle, and this tasted incredible. I only gave 4 out of 5 starts because we found a long hair in the tagliatelle, which was disappoiting. Also perhaps a more expensive restaurant than others in the town.

03/05/2026: Absolutely amazing, nothing that could be improved. Setting beautiful, classic with eclectic accents, formal but relaxed, chef walking around and engaging with his guests the whole evening, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and then the food. We got the 10 course menu which was a little much, but wouldn’t have wanted to miss any course. There were an additional two appetizers and dessert as well. A real journey of different tastes, combinations and textures. Some surprising some more recognizable but all excellently prepared and beautifully presented. They were very flexible and adapted some dishes for my gluten-free intolerance, without making me feel difficult or having me miss out on anything. Highly highly recommend, great value for money and will definitely be returning! Grazie per una serrata perfetta!!!

27/03/2026: I went their with my boyfriend for his birthday. The location was very nice on a little hill overlooking the lake. The service and food were just outstanding, we enjoyed everything we tried. The chef came to our table to greet us and even explained some of the dishes which was very cool and made our day. We highly recommend :)

10/06/2026: The food is excellent! We had baked gnocchi, eggplant parmigiana, pesto pasta and tiramisu. Very tasty, made with all fresh ingredients. There was a queue and we had to wait about 30 mins to get in the restaurant. The restaurant is small and it’s self service. There was a little pressure to eat food and leave soon because of the waiting customers outside.
