Quel Fantastico Giovedi In Ferrara

Excellent restaurant in the center of Ferrara, with top-quality dishes, a wide selection of wines, and friendly service. The fish is excellent; I've never had meat dishes before, but they look very inviting. The passatelli and red mullet are definitely worth trying. I recommend booking during busy periods or on weekends.

Usually a great place, but I hadn't been there in a while. Yesterday it wasn't up to par: the gazpacho was microscopic, not even gazpacho and very unrealistic, the venison was delicious but also microscopic, the guys were overdoing it with 70 grams, you can't go that low, especially since in the end, without dessert, it came to 70 euros... Finally, the service was strange: the adults were very kind, one young woman was a bit hostile and very, very abrupt in her movements.

Utterly delicious food and superb service. We had the courgette flan and mussels for our starters and the seafood platter (very lightly fried) and spaghettoni with cod, lemon pepper and cream for our mains (the latter was incredible). This is the kind of restaurant you would want to come to again and again if you lived in Ferrara. My partner was thrilled that I chose it.

There are restaurants where you eat well, and then there are places that offer an experience that goes far beyond the food. For us, this was one of those places. The word that best describes what we experienced is "empathy." We found it in the dining room, in the looks, in the attention to detail, and even in the dishes, prepared with a care that conveys passion and respect for those who sit at the table. In a historical period in which caring for others seems increasingly rare, being welcomed with such kindness and authenticity made this dinner truly special. We felt listened to, pampered, and supported throughout the experience. The food is of the highest quality; every course reflects study, research, and a great deal of love for this profession. But what we will truly take with us is the feeling of being welcomed as people, even before just customers. It was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip to Ferrara. Everyone, at least once in their life, should treat themselves to an experience like this. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff for giving us a memory we'll cherish forever. Keep it up! A restaurant discovered by chance while wandering around the magnificent Ferrara... Which turned out to be a beautiful experience, and a culinary journey of multiple flavors combined with refinement... Thanks to all the staff... A small restaurant with a great kitchen is an experience for the palate every time

One of the city's top-notch restaurants, even if it has slightly dropped in quality.

We fell in love with this place, its dishes, and its staff. The eel and Comacchio-style marinated anchovies are well-balanced (you must like that acidic touch), and the calamari stuffed with cod and celeriac foam are superb. The dry passatelli with asparagus and clams and the potato flan with salama da sugo are very good. The green azuki bean hoe with raw scampi (it was only on the tasting menu, but the kitchen turned a blind eye) is a treat for the heart and stomach. The unlisted tagliata with curry, potatoes, and roasted banana was love at first bite. The latte in piedi (milk in standing) is excellent, as is the chocolate salami, which stands out for its just the right sweetness and intense cocoa flavor. The staff made our silver wedding anniversary even more special by surprising us with a very kind gift. They made us feel pampered. If you pass through Ferrara you cannot miss this stop (also praised by several of the city's friendliest taxi drivers).

I wasn't familiar with this restaurant, but it made a great impression on me, both for the quality of the food and the prompt, attentive, and unobtrusive service. The price was reasonable for the quality of the fish and the service.
