If I were to ever become a vegetarian, I could always make an exception for Osteria Il Cortile's "Beef cheek with Montepulciano d'Abruzzo D.O.C. and mashed potatoes."

Excellent. Small, elegant, clean, and welcoming place. Excellent service. They welcomed us in the best way. The dishes are typical of the area and super delicious. Even my 8-year-old enjoyed them. If we ever get back to Castel di Sangro, we'll definitely dine at Osteria Il Cortile again.

Very nice and welcoming place. Good service, just a little slow. We were very satisfied with all the dishes we ordered. It's my first time here, but I'll definitely be back.

We had dinner last night, excellent dishes cooked with taste and passion, the beef cheek was spectacular.....the very kind owner offered us some typical local bitters... compliments... definitely worth returning

01/04/2026: I ate at the Angeletta restaurant on the occasion of a birthday party. The fried suppli, potato croquettes, courgette flowers, bruschetta with cherry tomatoes, with mushrooms and the pizzas were all good. Unfortunately, the restaurant has fallen a bit behind in terms of age.
01/03/2026: what can I say, excellent food, very friendly staff... and then you don't eat like you do in Abruzzo, you don't eat anywhere else
