06/06/2025: We wanted to go out to eat with our dog (a medium-sized schnauzer). Dogs aren't allowed in the restaurant.

02/06/2025: We visited the restaurant today for lunch; it was moderately busy. Our chosen drinks and food were served promptly, but it took an hour for the food to arrive. The salad was served without marinade, perhaps the norm here. However, we had to gather the ingredients for the marinade ourselves from the restaurant. The lamb was lukewarm and of poor quality, the vegetables were cold, and the fries arrived after we had already eaten. I cannot recommend this restaurant at all.

13/06/2025: I am very happy and glad to have come here to eat. The food is absolutely top quality, as is the kindness, and the price is also right. For those who pass through Opi and Pescasseroli must pass by here. You will not regret it 😍

23/04/2025: In questa mia recensione la qualità del cibo(comunque di scarso livello) passa in secondo piano. La prima cosa che valuto in un ristorante è l'accoglienza e sotto questo aspetto La Trappola è uno dei peggiori posti dove sono stato. La scostumatezza della proprietaria è di un livello imbarazzante. Pochissime volte in vita mia ho avuto a che fare con personale di una tale scortesia. Ovviamente non ci metterò mai più piede.

05/03/2025: un piccolo ristorantino che offre cucina locale e pizze, molto accogliente, caldo e il personale è molto gentile. I piatti sono molto abbondanti e ci siamo tornati due volte, la prima abbiamo preso delle magnifiche pappardelle ai porcini e uno strudel e la seconda volta delle trofie con zucca, zafferano, salsiccia, ... tutto davvero buonissimo e ad un costo onsstissimo! ci torneremo.

07/05/2025: Veramente ottimo! La gentilezza della signorina che ci ha seguito, con consigli e spiegazioni, le zuppe favolose, le ottime porzioni e il prezzo veramente buono per quanto offerto ci hanno stregato! Grazie!

03/05/2025: Cucina semplice, sincera, senza fronzoli da ambiziosi gourmet, ad un prezzo giusto e con un servizio corretto e molto cortese. Evitate manciate di sale, grassi inutili, panne pasticciate per dare solo apparenza di sapore. Un agnello da 20 e lode per quanto mi riguarda (davvero gustoso e cotto a puntino). Chitarra al pomodoro, gnocchi a salsiccia e zafferano e fantastici agnolotti di ricotta al tartufo. Vino della casa senza alcuna offesa. Che dire? Grazie!!!

31/03/2025: We went for lunch and had a great time. We asked for gnocchi (made in casserole, well done) and pappardelle with mushrooms. Both dishes were plentiful and very good. Fair price and served fairly quickly.

23/03/2025: Many people wonder why there are negative reviews? Well, I am someone who adapts and is not at all fussy... otherwise I would have left as soon as I opened the door. I ordered the house appetizer, and they only brought me cold cuts (of dubious quality) Penna all'arrabbiata... to keep it simple, and I find a dish with mushrooms in the sauce! I have never seen mushrooms in penne all'arrabbiata!! Really unpleasant flavor, which I tried to correct by asking for parmesan, but I was given a truly horrible grated cheese.. it tasted rancid.. and imagine why! 2 portions of sausage (modest).. French fries filled with oil!! :) Finally, an Amarone grappa to try to remove the bad taste of the parmesan! Total 67 euros... Just one word: INDESCRIBLE!!!

03/06/2025: If I could I would give 0. Since the change of management, a collapse. I went to this restaurant for a birthday. The waitress was not at all polite, not a smile, not a kindness, very sloppy even in her clothing. The other waiter was definitely more friendly. Already from the fried pizzas, which were famous here, you could tell that it was not like before: greasy, rubbery, inedible, like the whole lunch. The gnocchi with saffron and sausage were a soup, moreover tasteless, sausage never arrived, the appetizers were meager, the second courses edible, but of a low quality, the cake was not a cake but a disjointed dessert, not even minimally decent. There was a vegan person and a celiac... Disaster: the gluten-free gnocchi with the same sauce as the. Gnocchi were inedible, after the complaints they were replaced by gnocchi with sauce, edible, but still not good. For the second course, they were offered (vegan style!!!!!) smoked scamorza with ham, and then brought a soup that was a broth, not after saying "eh what can we do? Vegans eat vegetables" ... and as a "cake" some Valsoia ice cream... Unspeakable. The owner who was in the dining room most of the lunch, did not deign to ask if everything was ok, if there were problems, despite the dishes being returned and there being numerous complaints. The only good thing was the bread. Requests made to the waiters were "forgotten"... In short, no, do not go there, not with this management... They have ruined a restaurant that was a jewel in the crown.

30/05/2025: I was last Saturday in this restaurant of good reputation, the disappointment was great, as the food especially the first courses inedible. The second courses let's say passable. The staff absolutely unfriendly and unprofessional, especially the waitress, moreover very unkempt. I'm sorry because as previously said it had a reputation of being an excellent place.

06/05/2025: Excellent meat and delicious focaccia. Genuine and traditional cuisine, with excellent quality ingredients. The service, attentive and helpful, completes a decidedly positive experience. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

09/06/2025: We stopped here for dinner in 4 people. We had a good time, menu at 15 euros per person with first, second and side dish, fast service and helpful owner. Homemade cuisine, I would return and recommend it.

09/04/2025: A restaurant that has pasta with tomato, garlic and oil on its menu and nothing else for lunch speaks for itself, as a second course they had fetta and caprese. I ordered what I wanted at 1pm, the pasta dish arrived at 1.45pm, the garlic and oil without parsley without a trace of chilli pepper with the burnt black garlic. So I politely asked since I had to go back to work that they avoid giving me the second one. every time it's a trauma to eat at their place, an infinite experience, you know when you come in, you don't know when you leave. Furthermore, other tables that arrived after us before ours were served. Catering is not a job where you invent yourself from one day to the next, if you do or did something else, go back to it and don't violate a wonderful job, moreover by not giving worthy value to the place where you are, a historic trattoria which for years has been a cornerstone of catering in the area but unfortunately the change of management has been disastrous.

24/02/2025: Conoscevamo già il ristorante e per la prima volta abbiamo soggiornato. Ottima struttura, camere recenti ed accoglienti, ottima pulizia e disponibilità della proprietaria. Colazione abbondante e gustosa. I proprietari ci hanno messo a nostro agio e per due mattine ci hanno preparato la colazione anche prima dell'orario previsto. Gentilissimi. CI vuole una mezz'ora per raggiungere gli impianti di risalita ma considerando il prezzo e il trattamento va più che bene.
