29/11/2025: I have to say that I didn't find anything negative about the negative reviews I read. On the contrary, the quality of the ingredients is high and the staff is courteous, kind, and helpful.
The only negative note, "that's why the food is 4 stars," is that for me it's too much rice. I prefer smaller ones, but the ratio between rice and fish was perfect. COMPLIMENTS: Truly EXCEPTIONAL. Highly recommended.

06/12/2025: Each restaurant chooses how to present itself in terms of service, kindness, location, and attention to detail. La Mimosa has chosen to give itself a 3-star rating, overall. You'll eat mediocre fish, some even a little better. The service is simply there, flawless but also lacking in courtesy. The food is okay: without special flavors or recipes; the fish is neither fresh nor pureed.
So in the end, you won't suffer or be thrilled.
And you won't remember or return.
10/11/2025: The quality of the fish is truly excellent, especially for a mountain restaurant. The portions are very generous, and the pasta dishes are almost equivalent to two or three portions, so I recommend choosing just one type.
The only flaw is the service, which is a bit slow—perhaps because the restaurant was busy that day.
All in all, the quality and flavor are truly good, and the price is more than reasonable!

07/11/2025: We've ordered takeout pizza from this place a few times. The pizza and fried foods are good, the problem is the portions. 2 out of 4 times the pizza was small and 3 out of 4 the fried foods were small. So after the first two times I pointed it out to my partner, who reported it to the owner, who apologized and said she'd fix the mistake the next time. So she did, she gave us the fried foods for free, and I thought I'd fixed it, but then today again the pizzas and the zucchini flowers, two portions of each, didn't make one... and I thought, why if we pay for the portions in full, do we get half portions? I won't be back.

A small, simple cherry cone and an ice cream biscuit, not fresh but packaged, for €7. I could have avoided them, but it was a request from my elderly mother.
Overpriced.
The Giolitti ice cream shop in Rome is much less expensive.

10/07/2025: I've known her for years, and I usually reserve trays there for special occasions, like birthdays, etc.
The lady is incredibly kind! I'd go back a thousand times just for the service, and the pizzas are always beautiful and delicious!
If you're craving a quick pizza, it's the best in L'Aquila! 🏰

All the kindness and courtesy of the Employees takes second place.
Prices absolutely normal
Take the filling with bresaola, rocket and parmesan flakes.

30/08/2025: From the 80s to 2000 it was my restaurant in Roccaraso, I sold my house and returned after many years, a unique disappointment, no appetizer counter at the buffet but above all low quality meat, now only the memory remains
22/08/2025: I visited this place years ago and was impressed. As the restaurant's name suggests, there were many delicious items, and the place was surrounded by greenery and well-kept. I returned today and I must say that I found everything changed and worsened, neglected, with little or no food to offer, and the prices were steep. I won't be returning.

12/05/2025: I ordered a 2kg "giant" croissant for my son's party; it was space leavened very well, super puffed and decorated by angels, the owner is very friendly and the staff is always kind and helpful, it's not the first cake I've taken from them and it certainly won't be the last, I think one of the best pastry shops in Avezzano.
Highly recommended!
