02/12/2025: Locale accogliente e molto curato adatto sia ai giovani che alle famiglie. Servono una pizza molto buona , buoni anche gli hamburger così come i vari secondi. Una nota di merito ai dolci in particolar modo alle ciambelline alla Nutella. Offrono anche la possibilità di seguire gli incontri di calcio e la Champions League grazie ai numerosi schermi presenti. Consigliatissimo.

20/10/2025: A warm and welcoming place, with quality food, friendly staff, and very helpful owners. The food ranges from sandwiches to pizzas, all very good. Also suitable for families with young children.

11/06/2025: Bel posto, Antipasto molto abbondante, e ravioli di ricotta, tutto ottimo, cibo di qualità. e buon rapporto qualità prezzo. L'unica nota negativa ( se così si puo dire) abbiamo dovuto aspettare un pò. Ma in complesso mi sono trovato bene , ci tornerei

05/11/2025: Correct review I remembered this little restaurant as a pleasant place, so after a long time I decided to return. Unfortunately, however, I was greatly disappointed. As soon as we entered, the atmosphere was more reminiscent of a canteen than a restaurant: tables lined up and a sign warning that, given the difficulty in finding staff, the service would not be able to meet all customer needs. The waiter greeted us by saying that "due to Covid," there was no menu, but that he would list it for us verbally (although he could bring us a paper one if we wanted). He then added that the cups were plastic, but he could bring us glass ones if we preferred. At that point, I felt like I was in a Candid Camera! We ate two fried appetizers, a pizza, a pasta dish, and a microscopic slice of watermelon. Total bill: 41 euros. Truly excessive for such a mediocre experience: 12 euros for two supplì and a few chips, for example. I understand the industry's difficulties, but we can't continue to blame Covid on ourselves when the restaurant industry is already restarting and many establishments are committed to offering better service. Here, unfortunately, I found neither quality nor attention, but decidedly outrageous prices. A real shame: they need to get some serious regulation.

25/10/2025: On Saturday night, we had a good thin Roman-style pizza, but the bill was too high, even compared to the menu displayed, with the fable of offering free amaro. Upon closer inspection, the prices also seemed more expensive than the menu displayed (which was already expensive!). A word of advice: the empty restaurant on a Saturday night deserves some reflection and self-criticism.

03/11/2025: Pleasant experience; welcoming place, friendly staff, good, traditional food, reasonable prices. The only downside is the wait, which was a bit too long. I understand that in the fall, which is not the peak season, there are fewer staff, but arriving around 1:30 PM and leaving after 3:30 PM seems a bit long for a lunch for four. We'll definitely be back, but we hope for a shorter wait :) Good luck, and thank you.

02/11/2025: I had lunch here today with a friend, the only restaurant where we found a table after 1 pm without a reservation, and we were grateful to be able to eat something hot. However, the bill was very annoying, as it was clearly higher than the reality. For starters, the cover charge was apparently €2.50 per person, contrary to what was stated on the menu. They treated us like idiots because we couldn't read that amount, and I challenge anyone to read €2.50 on even one of the two menus you see in the photo. Then I asked what the first course of the day was, and we were told spaghetti alla chitarra and polenta, and a third course that I don't remember, so it cost €10 as was clearly stated, but the polenta was charged €12, as were the stuffed pasta and gnocchi. For second courses, a pork chop that arrived as an overcooked and chewy chop, and a roast scamorza cheese that wasn't actually roasted, but rather freshly reheated. The cost of the pitcher of water, still and not sparkling, as stated on the receipt, was €2.50, and it wasn't listed on the menu. Ignoring the quality of the main courses and the mistake with the water, the cost of which remains unknown to the customer, the amount charged was at least 7% higher than the deductible from the menu. Now, €3 more on €41.50 doesn't make me poor, and it probably won't make the restaurant super rich, but treating customers like idiots is definitely not a winning marketing strategy and only leads to a bad reputation. The first courses were very good, however.

23/11/2025: Everything was delicious, the service was friendly, and the price was reasonable. I recommend it!

26/09/2025: I think it's a "down-to-earth" place and it's even nice. The gluten-free pizza was good, and the people who ordered the burgers said they were good. The only downside was the news blaring with distressing news, and the bites were hard to swallow. Please, next time, put on some nice music and cheer us up; you've really lowered our spirits with this damn news program.

09/11/2025: A small but very welcoming place, decorated with photos of the old Castello. The staff is friendly and ready to explain the various dishes on the menu. The chef is friendly and skilled. There's a wide selection of appetizers, including the cheese and egg balls. The menu also offers a decent selection of first courses, main courses, and side dishes. The wine list is good, especially the Montepulciano di Abruzzo, and the prices are average.

14/10/2025: A welcoming, rustic-style restaurant with beautiful photos and reproductions of paintings by Teofilo Patini. The food was well-prepared. The appetizers and arrosticini were excellent, but everything was delicious.

01/09/2025: This piadina shop was recommended to us by the owner of the hotel where we stayed. The piadina is excellent, prepared by the owner, who is truly talented. We also had amatriciana and carbonara, both freshly prepared and the best we've ever had. The charcuterie board was also delicious. The owner and his two daughters were incredibly welcoming. Excellent value for money. We'll be back!

08/12/2025: The restaurant is a beautiful place. They're a little slow in bringing the food, but everything is delicious. I've eaten there for breakfast and dinner and have never been disappointed. Final score: 5 out of 5 stars.

08/12/2025: Cold and soggy fries, inedible chicken wings, cold and dry sandwich, sent back Terrible, I hope the three stars were deserved, because if this is the level of customer service, it's truly sad.

28/07/2025: Avremmo voluto cenare qui, ma non è stato possibile. Tutto prenotato tra le 19:30 e le 20:00 e non prenotavano per orari ulteriori. Se volete mangiare prenotate i pochi tavoli per tempo oppure rinunciatevi.

21/07/2025: Trattoria a conduzione familiare, con piatti cucinati al momento, noi abbiamo preso tagliatelle al cinghiale e uno dei piatti del giorno " un polpettone ripieno di verdure prosciutto e formaggi" entrambi buonissimi...patate al forno e antipasto di bruschette varie e sfiziose, e x finire una cheesecake fatta in casa da scegliere in varie varianti, noi abbiamo scelto con Nutella e granella di nocciole, leggera e davvero speciale. Ringrazio la cordialità della proprietaria e la professionalità ed educazione della ragazza che ci ha servito. Sicuramente ogni volta che torneremo da queste parti saremo vostri ospiti. Il prezzo adeguato e meno caro degli altri posti della zona. Grazie

12/10/2025: The pizza is delicious, the leavening and dough are the same at all Alice-branded pizzerias. At 8 pm on Sunday, there's no pizza left. I understand we're in a very small town, but a few things need to be reconsidered.

02/09/2025: We arrived at the refuge around 3 PM, but even though we'd eaten, they cooked us delicious arrosticini right there. It's worth coming all the way here just to have a coffee and enjoy the view. Friendly staff, clean restrooms, and lovely tables in the woods!

13/08/2025: You arrive and find yourself in this family-run refuge, served by a wonderful, kind, and extremely helpful lady at the counter. We've been here a week and had the best sandwich in all of Abruzzo: sausage, broccoli rabe, and provola. Exceptional desserts. Everything homemade and strictly fresh. Five stars superior!!!

15/08/2025: Bad experience. The waitress spilled my entire drink on me and didn't even bother to clean the table or the floor. She even laughed, demonstrating a complete lack of professionalism. I will never return and I strongly advise against this place.

02/11/2025: We had a wonderful horseback ride with Gerardino, who made you feel at ease. Wonderful family-run business, they manage to convey their passion for animals. We'll definitely be back, great prices! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🔝

02/11/2025: I can't judge the quality of the food because I didn't eat. But the experience wasn't satisfactory. After the horseback ride, some of the group wanted to eat arrosticini, there were 10 of us in total. Only 4 of us ate. Only 4 people were seated; the rest were standing and had brought packed lunches since arrosticini weren't served. Those sitting at the table ordered arrosticini, beer, and a scamorza. The table wasn't set, and no glasses were brought. They were sitting on a picnic bench, but again, only 4 people were seated (also because only those 4 people could fit). A cover charge was charged for everyone. 6 people didn't use any service. The problem isn't the money; a 2 euro cover charge won't change anyone's life (we paid 20 euros cover charge, and 4 of us ate), but I don't think this is the right way to behave. Disappointing.

24/08/2025: A place where you can stop for a home-cooked meal. Nothing exceptional or special, but there's certainly attention to detail, speed, and authenticity in the products. We'll be back.

23/08/2025: We stumbled upon the restaurant by chance and were struck by the waitress's kindness. She consulted the kitchen and even managed to prepare pasta for our newborn without prior notice. Our dishes met our expectations, and we ate well, appreciating both the service and the ambiance. Looking at the reviews, one might suspect the service might cause some problems, but we can attest to the waitress's professionalism: the table next to us, after placing a very confusing order, sent back some dishes because some diners hadn't properly informed themselves about the ingredients. Despite the rudeness of the customers, the waitress maintained a professional and composed demeanor. Not everyone! We'll definitely be back!!! Regarding the rooms, I'm giving them 3 stars, in line with most of the reviews I've read, but I can't comment on that since we didn't stay at the hotel.
