10/09/2025: Central location in the charming village of Scanno. Very well-maintained rooms, bathroom a bit small, but that's all you can do in a historic building. The owner is super helpful, and I can confirm the excellent breakfast. The on-site parking is a great option.

29/08/2025: Alessandra's place is a little gem in the historic center of Scanno. She's a kind and discreet host. She's available for information and even for pleasant conversations. She even stepped in for an unexpected event. In Abruzzo, I've found a warm welcome, which Alessandra transmits to her guests, along with her love for her homeland.

The head waiter (and the only waiter) brought us a couple of dark olives, a few slices of ham, and two (two!) slices of cheese for four people. We waited over two hours for the pizza, and this place has always been the same throughout the years. They never thought of getting an extra waiter/cook. It takes so long to get some food here, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The atmosphere is poor, and the service will make you feel uncomfortable. —— Extremely slow service; the starter was awful! 12/09/2025: The atmosphere is in keeping with the name. The staff are very welcoming, the prices are absolutely in line with the quality of the dishes, the food is excellent, and the menu is varied but not overly so, to offer the best possible quality. The skewers were excellent, and an appetizer that surprised us with mini stuffed peppers, cooked just like my grandfather used to make, was truly moving. Congratulations, we'll be back!

27/08/2025: Best pizza in the Abruzzo region. The prices are low and the pizza tastes very good. It was always a pleasure to see Mario and his wife. They recently upgraded the restaurant to double of the size. Also nice to sit in- and outside.

03/10/2025: A place where a stop is refreshing. Traditional dishes leave the delicious flavor of home cooking. The staff's preparation is excellent, and their welcoming attitude is evident. The generous parking remains another of the restaurant's strong points.

19/08/2025: We stopped at this bar/diner on our way back from vacation for lunch. The owner, Alessandro, is a kindness that's almost extinct these days, his mother and sister Giulia are the queens of the kitchen; they prepared handmade tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and homemade gnocchi with cacio e pepe that my taste buds still scream for more! 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 For our second course, we had an excellent steak cooked to perfection, some excellent sausages, and fries in their own olive oil on the side. Top value!

03/08/2025: A very pleasant experience. It was a pleasant surprise to learn that it was possible to order pizza with lactose-free mozzarella. The final price was reasonable. I will definitely be back.
