The lady who waits at the tables and takes orders absolutely cannot stand the public!!
Unfriendly, nervous, annoyed, inhospitable, even hysterical at times...
She gives you dirty looks, criticizes every wrong move, has something to say about everything...
It's truly shocking...
Thank goodness for Osvaldo, who makes up for it all with truly, truly top-notch cuisine!!!!

11/01/2026: The dishes were truly delicious, especially the arrosticini, which were flavorful and cooked to perfection. The quality of the cuisine is definitely worth a visit. Service, however, was a bit slow, especially during busy periods. Overall, a positive experience, with some room for improvement in the service.
03/01/2026: We'd like to report an incident that occurred at the restaurant today. We ordered four dishes, but only two were served. The other two never arrived, and two people were left without food. The situation was reported immediately, but has not been resolved. We're leaving this message as a report only.

12/11/2025: It's now become our go-to spot for all our visits to Ovindoli and the surrounding area.
Located in Celano's main square, right in front of Piccolomini Castle, it has plenty of on-street parking, so much so that you'll only need to drive around a second time to find a spot.
And it's worth it!
A good selection of always-fresh pastries, and bar service from attentive, attentive, and extremely friendly staff, so much so that time spent over a cup of coffee becomes filled with jokes, foodie insights, and precise tourist information (always and subject to customer traffic, which is never neglected).

18/10/2025: Lovely lady knew how to make a great cappuccino and made us feel warm and welcomed. It’s a local hangout with a nice view of the town. We were glad we stopped here as we passed through.

Very centrally located, the rooms are clean and quiet, and the owner is wonderful. It's a shame that after COVID, I was told, they no longer offer food.

Excellent service and courtesy.
We made a reservation (for February 2026), and I always recommend making a reservation.
There's a parking area outside that can accommodate about fifteen cars (it's not reserved for the restaurant, it's "public").
01/02/2026: We were on vacation for two days in Sulmona. We discovered this place through recommendations from locals. It's a well-maintained establishment with very friendly staff, not to mention the owners. The cuisine is very rich and delicious, with a very generous house appetizer.
Given what we ate and the way they served us (Saturday evening), the price was very reasonable.

an experience we'll definitely repeat as soon as possible!
12/01/2026: I should start by saying that I was there for a birthday party, and I don't like eating fish, but I sensed a great sense of satisfaction from the guests.
The place is truly beautiful; I would recommend it for ceremonies or romantic summer evenings.

08/12/2025: Let's start with the truly unique and welcoming location, like being in a mountain chalet, with attention to every detail.
The owners are kind and professional, and know how to put you at ease.
There were several of us for dinner, and we tried several cuts of meat on the menu, all excellent from the first to the last.
Special attention was also paid to the wine list, which ranges from northern to southern Italy and beyond.
A well-deserved 5 stars.

11/11/2025: On November 1st and 2nd, 2025, I took a group of 24 people, half of whom also stayed on Friday.
The facility was dated, but the rooms were warm and clean. Having booked half board, we were fortunate enough to sample authentic and plentiful cuisine.
The group was happy, and we'll be back.
02/11/2025: The hotel is dated but well-maintained, very clean, and the staff is very kind and available to meet customer needs. The breakfast was very good.
