This place in Scanno was a pleasant discovery. The cuisine is that of the past, flavors and smells of a bygone era, first choice quality. The very nice owner is his wife who cooks with passion. If you pass by here I recommend it. You will definitely return. Today they opened specifically for us but in a short time the place was almost full... and I won't say anything else. Compliments.

Rustic and welcoming restaurant..nice place, excellent typical dishes with the flavors of the past.Friendly and helpful staff.they welcome dogs and therefore have an extra edge.to be recommended.

If you pass through Scanno I recommend everyone to stop at La Foce, an excellent family-run restaurant, cuisine of typical dishes, friendly service where you can feel at home, for us Vegans they have catered to us by preparing something a little different, good choice of wines, I highly recommend the Cerasulo . We can't wait to go back

Posto informale e pieno di tradizione... L oste gentile ed efficiente..ci tornerei volentieri. Preso un antipasto misto e i cazzillitti con le fuoja (deliziosi).... P.s. salumi e formaggi davvero ottimi

Excellent lunch in an informal place but with a lot of tradition... Excellent mixed starter and cazzillitti with fuoja... The owner is kind and efficient.... I would happily go back

Ristorante La Locanda sul Lago

01/04/2024: Feel like at home. We stayed two nights. The location is fantastic, a two minute walk from the beautiful village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio. The room was clean, comfortable and in harmony with the natural surroundings. The proximity to the pond gives a great sense of peace. The food in the restaurant and the breakfast were absolutely top quality and the service was impeccable. The guys who run the inn are super helpful and nice. Thank you with all my heart! Ps. I recommend enjoying the ice cream from the kiosk while walking along the lake shore: you are reborn!

03/12/2023: Libri & Vino è il vero logo di questo tipico e bel locale situato nel centro di Sulmona. Staff cordiale, propositivo e professionale. Buonissime le polpette al formaggio che ci hanno proposto , eccezionali e di buona qualità gli arrosticini tagliati a mano. Molto gustose anche le verdure di contorno in particolare modo la scarola con uvetta e pinoli. Unico critica è sulla la pulizia del bagno che dovrebbe essere maggiormente accurata. Prezzi giusti e nella media della zona.
03/12/2023: In una giornata di passeggio ci fermiamo a pranzo in questo ristorante. Locale molto carino, personale gentile e disponibile. Antipasto mortadella artigianale buonissima e palle cacio e ovo con salsa di pomodoro le migliori che abbia mai mangiato. Un primo con crema di broccoli e guanciale molto saporite e dal gusto equilibrato. Polpette con vino bianco cipolle e granella di pane lavorata in una maniera che la rendeva piacevolmente croccante. Il titolare ci consiglia un calice di Montepulciano di Abruzzo davvero ottimo. Dolce crema pasticciera con strega e amaretti. Tutto buonissimo e ben servito. Prezzo giusto.
