So...what can I say...if you want to eat game, you've found the right place...already from the appetizer you'll understand the difference with other cold cuts and then the first courses will make a notable difference in flavor...,,.If I were to pass through these parts again, I know where to eat....

In a mountain-style setting perfectly suited to the area, with a view of the grotto and hanging horns/American country music, we found excellent meat dishes, but not only that: also worth trying are the grilled scamorza cheese with prosciutto and the pasta with land snails! The owner is kind and thorough, and parking is right in front of the restaurant.

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and was truly satisfied! The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, and the food is delicious and beautifully presented. Special thanks go to the waiter, Jimmi, who was extremely kind and professional, attentive, helpful, and always ready to offer helpful suggestions on the dishes. Thanks to him, the experience was truly enjoyable. I'll definitely be back!

This in the photo was the best thing I've EVER eaten... the quality of the food was excellent!! The atmosphere was truly meticulously maintained... down to the smallest details... and the staff (both the owner and Jimmy, who served us with his super smile and sweetness) were as exquisite as the food I ate... the house wine was also excellent, and so was the jug that held it! TOP

A very typical tavern, with a warm mountain atmosphere and very friendly service.
The wood-fired meat was excellent, as were the side dishes.

The food at Mauro's is good, with just the right portions and a slightly higher price than some other restaurants in the area. The place is welcoming but a bit crowded, yet still very quaint. The only complaint was dessert, where we made a major mistake with the crème brulee, which, perhaps due to the waiter's language barrier, we couldn't explain to him that it needed to be prepared a little better.

This restaurant is spectacular, with an interesting interior! The food is delicious, and the staff (Jimmy) was kind and professional.
The only downside (like many other restaurants in the area and surrounding areas) is that they don't allow dogs. We left ours at home for a couple of hours.
We'll definitely be back, and I've recommended it to friends.
