First of all, 4 stars only because I only ate arrosticini, and it's well known that in Abruzzo they're delicious everywhere, but I'm better at the ones I make at home... ;) I'll be back to try something else! For those like me who practically grew up in Monachina in Piedicolle di Montereale, this name represents not just a place, but a piece of my heart and a wealth of unforgettable childhood memories. So you can imagine how excited, but also curious, I was when I approached Monachina 3.0. My expectations were not only met, but far exceeded. One aspect I deeply loved was the menu's identity: the names of the pinsa are a constant homage to the region and the people of Montereale. It was wonderful to read the menu and find those references that remind me of home, a wonderful idea that demonstrates how deeply rooted this place is in our community and how passionate it is to preserve its memories and traditions. The culinary offering is simply excellent, starting with the undisputed star: the pinsa. The dough is masterfully rolled and worked, cooked to perfection, and with that distinctive crunchy texture that truly makes all the difference when you bite into it. Light, digestible, and topped with top-quality ingredients. ​The must-try: There's one dish you absolutely must try, a true institution: the fried pinsa with mortadella, stracciatella, and pistachios. An absolute masterpiece. The frying is masterful, dry, and not at all greasy, creating the perfect contrast with the creaminess of the stracciatella and the crunchy touch of the pistachio. ​Monachina 3.0 is not only a tribute to a history and a land I'm deeply attached to, but a wonderful treat for the palate. I'll definitely be back!

Everything is good but most of the time I can't digest pinsa

Excellent atmosphere! Even the rare sound-absorbing panels blend beautifully with the historic architecture and make the place very pleasant acoustically. Very good food The ginger tiramisu was truly special! Well done!
